Mmm very interesting! You're right, I think from what we've seen Demetrius is the one who's certainly not afraid of the idea of "rebirth" though he doesn't believe that such a thing exists since Vinicius is dead.
-
Yes indeed, and very good question 😬 I agree, it wasn't exactly the smartest plan. At the same time...Dani did learn a bit more about his own capabilities because of it. And Demetrius proved once again that he has a kind enough heart by putting his life at risk for a dog. It does seem like it, you're right.

33. CURSED I wandered around Maratoni’s compound in the absence of Demetrius, contemplating my dream and how exactly I would go about finding the missing Carandini member. If I could just locate him or her then it wouldn’t be too hard from there. I could easily recognize them. They all shared very similar facial features, after all. The hard part was actually finding the illegitimate royal in the first place, when I couldn’t even locate a trace of the ever-elusive Dahlia. Marato

Chapter 32: The Immortal’s War
C. Henderson commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 32: The Immortal’s War
Damn, your words are about to echo in the ending of the next chapter! Lol. True indeed Yep You'd have been the first one to join the Carandini assassination squad 😂 That would be a very probable reason, you're spot on -

Ohh I think you are the first pro-Ciprian party on here I love hearing all the different opinions. And without revealing much, I think we can all agree that he is not foolish and is actually a strategic thinker in a lot of ways. Interesting point! The death of Vinicius and how it occurred is still very much a mystery. -

I have to say, given everything we've read so far, that sounds about right 😁 Again, I have to agree at the moment. 😬 -

Exactly 😬 Our Russian friend needs to play this one out strategically. -

Oh wow, those are some powerful words! You might not like him, but you are sounding just a tad like Ciprian when you make statements like this one 😂 I feel like there could be some arguments made in a couple instances where Vincent was not self-serving, but I totally see your point on this one. As far as we know he's mostly been motivated but what's best for him - and that's to have Dani on his side. Who do you propose should kill him? 😬 But as far as we know, Vinicius did side with Arcadius in the end...even though he seemingly made a plea on behalf of the Carandini's at the beginning of the conversation. Again, as far as we know. We have yet to discover what happened after, of course. -

That's all very true! Something is most definitely taking place on his birthday. And you're right, Luciana might need some persuading. Worse yet, if Demetrius does not reciprocate her feelings, it might give her cause to work opposite him. Just a thought. -

There are some sexy times coming up, but there won't be a primary focus on that. And you're not the only one rooting for Demetrius, I've heard similar sentiments from others :] And to answer your other question, vampires are the only supernatural element in this story. -

Yes, that is very possible...and also quite funny 😂 Absolutely plausible Good point, he hasn't exactly been the kindest to either one of them. -
32. THE IMMORTAL'S WAR Ciprian threw on a black leather jacket on our way out the door as he dangled the car keys in his hand like an overly excited teenager taking his dad’s car for a spin after having just passed his driver’s exam. But his annoying smile disappeared right when we got into the garage, and he took a glance at our ride for the night. “A Honda?” he exclaimed in a disappointed tone of a petulant child, as his gaze swept over the unassuming gray car with utter dissa

Chapter 31: Whispers from the Grave
C. Henderson commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 31: Whispers from the Grave
Thank you kindly, and that is a very good question. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't have a good answer. I haven't had too much time for online reading lately. But, if you like classics, I just got my hands on the OG vampire story, Stoker's Dracula 😁 I read it back in the day without much appreciation for it. It's a lot different this time around, so I do recommend that. I've been meaning to read up on some of the authors here on GA. The one I'm most familiar with is probably the one every else knows as well, @DomLukathough his stories are not fantasy. And @headtransplant has a stunning and poetic flow that I'm very envious of 😉 Our good friend @Nightlithas an intriguing fantasy story for those who enjoy the virtual reality theme. I'm also familiar with @MozLover21"Electricity" (not fantasy). Sorry, I know that wasn't much help. If anyone else would like to chime in with some exciting fantasy recommendations, feel free. -

He turns 18 in Chapter 36 😁 So, it's coming soon, and it's coming with one big birthday surprise! All thanks to Vinicius. That's all I'm going to say though. You ask MANY great questions! We gotta get some answers ASAP 😬 Esp in relation to Dahlia and how she's connected to all this. -
Chapter 31: Whispers from the Grave
C. Henderson commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 31: Whispers from the Grave
Good ideas. I do want to point out though that in the event that Deadnus did want to kill Dani, she wouldn't necessarily have the backing of the entire Protection League. She might have kept the idea to herself, or to only a few of her workers, thinking it would be too dangerous for her to share something like that with too many others (just food for thought). She is not above the law after all. If it were to come out that she attempted something like that, she would be charged. Unless she's trying to actually take over the entire govt, of course. -

Great observations! You're right, one good thing about Maratoni's compound is that Demetrius is going to be there to watch over Dani. Good guess about Dahlia! We have to find out more about her.
