Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
C. Henderson commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 29: The Vampire Killer
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback Absolutely, it seems that Vinicius was working hard to make sure that Dani grew up to be a good person, instead of focusing on his power. -

So glad you're enjoying the story! Those are some very interesting theories 👏🏼. Thank you. Deadnus being related to Dahlia, or even being Dahlia, would certainly be a huge twist. Although from Dani's description of both women, there seem to be a lot of physical discrepancies. Ahh, very good question Yes indeed. Vinicius was full of great advice. All I will say is...there are 21 more chapters left 😁 You're right. If only Graham could be Vincent's mentor... Ciprian seems to have his own agenda going on. That's certainly a big possibility! -

True, but if him withholding the information actually ends up being in everyone's best interest (I'm not saying it will, it might be the opposite) what's so wrong with that? -
Chapter 28: An Angel Boy
C. Henderson commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 28: An Angel Boy
She's in a great state of paranoia at the moment. She's not capable of looking at the facts in front of her with a rational mind. Everything in her head is disordered due to her fear of losing power. -

Yes to all this 👏🏼. Excellent points! She is not in her usual state of mind at the moment. She's displaying major signs of paranoia and letting the "correct" way of doing things go as she perceives a threat which she fears is greater than her power. -

This is true, but I don't think Dani is ready to face that type of solution yet. He could have, but he chose not to. Perhaps he had his reasons? (Whether wrong or right). You're right, being human would make him a 100 times more vulnerable. Not sure if he's ready for that... But does he have a choice in the matter? We shall see 😬 Hmm...he certainly is an idealist, you're right. But if his way IS actually the correct way, does that make him a narcissist? -

You raise some excellent possibilities here! It most certainly could be that. Very true indeed. Uncle Ciprian seems to be prone to meddling. Again, some excellent theories. Every time Cirpian's name crops up, it seems to be bad news. Dahlia had mentioned him in an unfavorable light in Dani's dream, and Vinicius alluded that Deadnus has a bone to pick with him as well 😬 Nomad obviously doesn't like him either. Vincent would not be pleased to learn about that, if true. hahaha gotta keep it spicy! I don't know about all 12, but I'll keep you entertained with something for sure 😂 -

29. THE VAMPIRE KILLER We can’t conceptualize evil that we ourselves are not capable of. The words spoken to me by Vinicius a long time ago played in my head on a loop as Edward Graham and I drove back from my hearing. Vinicius had told me—no, he had warned me of this. It didn’t make much sense to me as a child. I had a vivid imagination after all, surely, I could dream up anything, even something I would never envision doing myself. But the sentiment was perfectly cle

That's 100% absolutely why the idea frightens her. It will become more clear as we dive into her history in future chapters. -

Ahhh yes, I wonder! We shall find out. You're right, if enough people did something about it, she would be out of power. It seems she's not the only corrupt player around though. That's a great hypothesis. Could be! I can't say any more! -

28. AN ANGEL BOY Cecilia waited for the elevator doors to open while staring at her phone and double-checking that she had indeed received the correct message. She opened her email once again and read the same subject line she saw pop up on the screen just five minutes ago: “Emergency Hearing, Department of Justice, Room 113.” She’d never had this many emergency hearings in such a short span of time. What a highly unusual time it was to be a court reporter, she thought. She quic
