My English Lit professor told us about that method of execution as well. Great minds and all that I suppose… She definitely had a thing for the dramatic!

I don’t like funerals. I don’t know anyone who does. But what they do is provide a sense of closure sometimes. In cases like this though…just an overwhelming sense of loss and grief. I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite chapters so far. So well written and thoroughly displays what happens after something bad happens to a well loved person in the community. I think Cyn handled the funeral as well as could be expected….and his token left at the pyre shows his pure heart.

In all me years, for some reason, I’ve never thought of peanut butter….hmmmm…. I’ll definitely have to try that soon. Great chapter!

Sad ending… but great chapter. I thought you handled the situation very well. It’s a proven fact that one out of one people die….sad to say. I’ve spoke at, sang and played for funeral services for more years than I care to remember, and every one is different…and as a musician, I’m thankful when a service is well thought out and planned, like the one here. And although Ritchie has a great support system…not everyone does….I make it a point to make myself available if anyone ever needs a shoulder to cry on, to vent to, or just to listen…to me that’s one of the reasons I was put here. ❤️❤️
