Wow. I don't regularly comment but I really enjoyed the pacing of this chapter.
And how is Trevor NOT an Alpha? He took charge in a sharp, calm, orderly manner even to the point where he put his own well-established Alpha on hold with no regret. (Though he did offer an apology)
Also. The whole texting with Randy during the drama is a nice touch. Someone mentioned the word "mate" in a previous comment. Would Trevor know? I'm sure I'm not alone in being happy if that was the case though the developing situation opens the possibilities for all sorts of drama and potential heartbreak for multiple parties. Looking forward to where this is taking us.
Really enjoyed the weaving in of old friends and family. Characters that we grew so fond of in previous tellings we get to enjoy anew, yet Trev still is the chief focus of the story. And rightly so.
Lastly, the comment of Aiden's, "Something's changed about you." is an exciting bit of foreshadowing. Does he sense Trevor's potential matedness or possibly his potential Alphaness? Or something altogether different. Trevor has been experiencing a lot of changes and personal growth so maybe it's just that simple. I, for one, would hope not and look rather forward to some cool reveal in a future chapter.
Oh yeah. McKinney's suck, hope Thad lives and my favorite chapter in a story I'm really enjoying in a series of stories I've already enjoyed.
Thanks... Next Monday can't come soon enough.
