  1. Constant pleas aren't going to speed up the process. I'll do the best that I can.

    A New Academic Year

Thanks, Alex, and I'm working on it now, but it won't be ready for quite a while.
  3. Sure, and I hope you get some takers.
  4. I'm not the Highlander either and I'm older than Josh.
  5. Then I hope it works out.
  6. Anton, thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you've enjoyed this story. Yes, it was good that Julie didn't suffer a long and painful demise and that her children have a new family. As well all know, death is inevitable, so depending on how many books the readers talk me into writing, Josh will not live forever. He's not the Highlander, but hopefully it won't happen any time soon.
  7. Xander, that's one of the issues I'm researching, but I doubt there will be more than one of these individuals.
  8. Jim, thank you for your continued support and I'm glad you've enjoyed this little tale. Some of the issues you mentioned will be addressed in Book 4, so hopefully that what make you wait too long. Trust me, I have enjoyed writing this series and the Curries et al have become old friends, and Danny and Brandon have definitely done Josh proud. Good luck with your own efforts.
  9. bjorde, you are welcome, and it's amazing how everyone seems to love the impish little devil who started this adventure with Josh. I'm sure he'll involve his dad somehow, although Ricky and I haven't figured that part out yet. Thanks for your feedback and kind words.
  10. I'm not sure. I'm still outlining my ideas and researching a few items right now. My hunch is that it will start in the summer, but will mention about what happened after Julie's death.
  11. My question is - why is your friend an EX GA'er?
  12. Brandon, thank you for the feedback and your support, and please accept my deepest belated condolences about your brother.
  13. Thanks for all of your support, Xander.
  14. Thanks, Stix. I've enjoyed your continued support and thank you for your kind words. I will do my best to get the next book out in a timely fashion.
  15. Thanks, James, and I'm glad you've enjoyed this trip with the Curries. I think having spent Christmas with their mother will give them plenty of positive memories to get over her death, since they all knew it was inevitable.
  16. Thanks, Tony, for the wonderful words and I'll do my best to live up to your expectations.
  17. You caught me again, but I've corrected it now.
  18. Thank you, avidreadr, and I'll do my best to get the next book out as soon as possible.
  19. Butcher, you're welcome and thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed this book and series.
  20. Thank you, Leah, and I'll try to get the next book out as quickly as possible.
  21. Wesley, thank you for your continued support and please accept my deepest belated condolences for the loss of your mother.
  22. On Saturday, Dad’s biological children returned to the house and we spent some more time with them before they had their kids load their belongings into the cars so they could begin the journey home. They were leaving today so they would have tomorrow to rest up before they had to return to work, and we said goodbye to each one as they exited the house. We let them know that we had enjoyed seeing them again, and then we waved as they drove off. The following day I took Holly, Hunter, and Ha
  23. Thanks, pvtguy, and let's see if I can answer some of your observations. Some of the dishes are also washed by hand. I don't know if you remember this from one of the earlier books, but they have a second refrigerator and a freezer in the rec room. The also have a stove and a built in oven in the wall, so they do have two ovens, but they also prepare some items in advance and merely warm them up later. I hope that helps.
  24. Thanks, Jim. As far as the photos of the characters, the only ones I have are in my head, although a couple of them I had met their inspiration in person or was given in depth descriptions of them. As far as the uncles sharing their stories, that did not happen. I believe that if the boys hadn't adjusted into the family as well as they did, then the uncles would have shared their stories then, but now it seems unnecessary to bring all that trauma to the forefront again.
  25. Thanks, Butcher, and the adoption ceremony went very well and the family is continuing to grow. It's nice to see that Josh is still around to see how what he started is continuing to grow and prosper, and hopefully it will continue for many years to come.
