Yes, it's good that Brenda and Pat came to the Hotel for Thanksgiving, since Trey had never cooked a turkey before and was nervous about doing it. It's also good that Elliot wants to spend time with Benny so he can get to know him better, and with a smaller crowd for Thanksgiving it should give them all time to get to know each other a little better and Danny and Brandon will get to spend some time with Brandon's parents in the process. In the meantime, Josh and Jake will be able to spend the holiday with Shannon and Nick.

Yes, dealing with death is never easy, no matter how old you are. I've had to deal with it many times, but like they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Once again there's a lot going on. I'm glad you appreciate how they named the health center and the athletic fields, and we'll have to wait to see what Elliot decides to do after he becomes a lawyer. Who knows, he may eventually want to have Steve's job. Yes, it was a shame about Shannon's accident and it was good that Jake was able to be with his son for a month before having to return home, and even better that Josh was able to stay longer. We'll see what Danny discovers with this new boy.

Yes, the family is very community oriented and they're concerned about much more than just themselves. Dion and Elliot are just another example of the lengths they go to in order to help out. It was also a cute scene when Noah went in to show Elliot he was maturing and a sign he was growing up. Frankie's actions not only brought him recognition, but it has filtered down to others in the family as well. It's amazing how that happens. -

Thank you and there is a lot going on. Frankie will surely be recognized for what he did, and thankfully he survived that episode. Things are also going well for Danny and Brandon too and they'll soon each have their own offices inside the health center. Noah is also starting to fit in, with Elliot's help, and things are going well. We'll have to wait to see if Frankie gets the promotion he desires. Thanks for the feedback.

Elliot has been through a lot, but it hasn't changed who he is. He's a very special and sensitive young man who appreciates what Danny, Brandon, and the others have done for him. He chose an excellent way to show it, because the dinner and present were perfect. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, a lot has been going on in these last few chapters. The other boys told Ricky multiple times over the years that some day he'd go too far and the recipient would get even, and I think he met his match in Elliot. As they say, payback is a bitch, but unfortunately it all happened when Ricky was already feeling down. Oh, well. Yes, Elliot got upset about Josh, Danny, and Brandon knowing he'd been fooling around with the other boys, but that's cleared up now and everything is good. Let's hope it continues. -

Tragedies seem to be a group effort in the Currie household to get the affected person back to normal. The family has done this many times already, with Pat's accident, Jessie's situation, and others, and now with Elliot. Btw, just so you know, Elliot's story was based on a real young man I became acquainted with when he got older. Many of the details were changed to fit the story, but the basics are all true. I included him in the story as a way to help him cope with what he'd been through and as a way it could share it with others. -

Butcher, I'm glad you're catching up with the story and are enjoying it. Yes, after enjoying their vacation together, they planned a birthday party for Frankie and Kylie and Josh didn't know they were planning to celebrate his 60th birthday as well. It all went off well, and now the grandchildren are going to be able to spend another week at the house, so everything is going very well and the grandchildren are back in the picture. It's good to see everything returning to normal.
