    Now that I knew what Danny had decided about the weekend, we each went to take care of a few other things before the boys called from Texas. When my phone rang, I immediately called for Danny to join me. “Hi, Poppy,” said Wyatt, and then I heard the other boys greet me as well. “Is Uncle Danny there too?” “I called him and he’s on his way.” “Then I’ll wait ‘til he gets there.” Obviously he wanted to tell both of us about their trip at the same time. “Ok, he’s here now.”

    Thanks again, flesco. So now that I know what part of the country you live and work in, then you can critique my telling of the Texas trip. I've never been there, so this is all based on my research, so I hope I got it correct. I hope you enjoy the Hershey Park visit as well, and thanks for the feedback.

    You're welcome, flesco, and I'm glad you enjoyed this. Several readers had told me that they'd like to hear about some of the other family member, so I thought this was a good way to do it, with Josh taking a few trips. I'm glad it's paying off.

    The boys were all off doing their own thing, so I decided to take Dobby and Flash to the local dog park. It was a beautiful day and they hadn’t been around any other dogs yet, except for their mother and other siblings, so I thought this would be a good experience for them. I could see there were a few other owners and their pets at the park when we arrived, so I hooked a leash onto each puppy before we got out of the SUV.     Thanks, James, and you might have been able to tell from what I've included in this story that I love architecture and history as well. When touring a historical site, I often try to imagine myself back when the building was new and imagine who else might have been there with me. Thanks for the feedback.

    Thanks, flesco, and I'm glad you appreciate the things I'm doing in this book. The readers suggested that they'd like Trey to write this time, and others wanted to hear more about the older family members, so it left me scratching my head on how to do that in detail. It was easy to have Trey write the story, especially since Danny had taken on new responsibilities, and by having Josh write some chapters relating his various trips to visit some of the older group, it seemed to mesh nicely. I'm glad you're enjoying all of the effort it took to research the various trips to make them sound realistic. I hope you continue to enjoy the future chapters as well.
