Thanks, Butch, (and I hope you don't mind me shortening Butcher). Yes, Adam runs into things nearly everyplace he goes, but if you think about it, haven't you run into many similar situations where you wished you could have done something to help? There will be more of these situation in his future too, so he will he deal with each one?

The next week started off fairly uneventful, but that all changed on Thursday morning when I went to wake Ryan. As soon as he opened his eyes, an expression of horror crossed his face. Once Dad arrived home, things were even less hectic for us, because he'd taken over many of the duties we'd assumed after he left for Georgia. This gave each of us more time to spend with our sons, even though we tried to help Dad as much as we could so he didn't have to do all the work.
