I am a sucker for sci-fics and if that fic involves time travel...Dang! I'm in!!
Well, there are not many sci-fic sub-genres that I don't like. I can watch/read any sci-fic. I am not that picky and choosy. If the plot intrigues me enough, I'll go for it, if not, balls to it...

CAPRICANS!!
C'mon!! The Great CJ himself backed this. Surely, The Herd, who follow CJ like a herd would follow him in this too!!
CAPRICANS!!

The same goes for me.
Almost all my upcoming stories are set in India and here we use colour!
But then again, I would never discourage anyone from reading my stories... You can just close your eyes when these words come...

Well, there's the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshwadweep with their beautiful islands. Goa and Kerela for their beaches. Meghalaya for its rainfall and mountains. Uttar Pradesh for its flood plains and one of the most fertile soils in the world.
Not to forget the rich heritage and over a million monuments!!

This reminded me of something I read some time back--- Here's some of the things that were there--->
These were just some of the things that I could remember from that article/essay. I'll go home and try to find it and then post it here....

Hey there Kizuna, I know I'm a bit late...but what the hell! WELCOME!
I have been lax in welcoming people and once again I apologize for that. I'm hoping that I get all my privileges back after 5th Oct...

Since Indians usually follow British English, I prefer colour. But then, if I'm using a computer language, then I have to use color.
I don't mind using any...

Even though it was a bad day, but think of the many things that resulted with that incident--->
1. U.S woke up to the real threat of terrorism. The efforts that she put in preventing another such incident is commendable.
2. The world woke up to the real threat of terrorism. As a result, there was global consensus on an issue. The Kashmir issue got noticed and U.S actually acknowledged that India faces terrorism in Kashmir. (It had always turned the other way after a small 'we're soory to hear this' speech)
These are just some of the things that I can list that affected the world globally. U.S citizens have risen up like a phoenix from the ashes of Ground Zero and have worked together to push terrororism out of their country.
Wish India could also do something like that. The recent Hyderabad blasts are another reminder of the lax in security measures here.

Well...I like three forms of magic that I've read/seen...
1. J.K Rowling's Harry Potter universe. Although I don't like restricting myself to a wand.
2. The mage magic. I don't remember the stories that involve mages, but dkstories's latest story, Rich Boy, has a modified version of it.
3. The Bewitched version of magic. Anyone seen the movie, Bewitched (Nicole Kidman) or the soap that used to feature a few years back.
Thats all...

Welcome to GA, Liddy....And congrats to you for venturing out of the confines of Dom's forum. You'll find that there are many great authors here (though it is very hard to match up to Dom).
Have fun

Today is the sixth anniversary of the dreadful WTC attack.
My heartfelt condolences to all those who lost someone or something in the worst attack on human life and property ever.
Let us all remember those who have left us as a result of that attack. Let us also spare a minute to remember those who have been martyred in the war against terror.
As a citizen of a country that has been plagued by terrorisim since the country gained her independance, I can empathise with the loss.
