  1. One more from me inspired by all your posts and the various back stories: The GA residents have such skills Their talents offer so many thrills A story, poem or post Friendship at it's most A place in our heart it fulfills
  2. Hmmm - seems like a few stories are starting to slip out! Made me think up this little limerick: This limerick thing is such a good game Telling secrets and sharing shame Bringing down the haughty With stories so naughty Besmirching each other's good name!
  3. Thanks Mark - glad you liked them. Now here's one just for you! I've heard that Marky is quite the stud That in bed he's never a dud Makes his lovers sigh Feel ten miles high He's just the best kind of bud
  4. I'll make another attempt at this limerick thing! There once was a boy quite endowed Of his bits he was exceedingly proud But as a top He was a flop Earning ridicule from the crowd
  5. Ok, here's my feeble attempt at this limerick thing: A limerick is a poem with wit Rhyming words with just the right fit A story to beguile And bring a smile Makes you laugh so hard you could s*@!
  6. Wow - Thanks for the praise Ramon! And to Dark too for recommending my story. You guys are gonna make me start blushing!

    Dangerous Impulses

Thanks so much - that means a lot to me!Currently the only other story I have written that's worth reading is Alex and Zach which I wrote a couple years ago and is posted at another site. I've got the rumblings of an idea for a new story though.

    Dangerous Impulses

Thank you - I really appreciate it! And Giordano's is simply addictive! I make a point of stopping everytime I'm near. Thank God there's not one close to where I live though - I wouldn't be able to fit thru my door!
  9. As with most things in life, I'd say it all depends. If the two hadn't moved on then probably not. But if their relationship was over and they had moved on then I'd have to say why not. The important thing would be to talk to your friend about it and not surprise them with it. To me the whole thing boils down to respect and love. You need to respect and love your friend enough to be honest with them and discuss the situation with them before hand. And your friend needs to respect and love you enough to get over themselves and not stand in the way of happiness over an immature grudge. To me, if the friendship isn't strong enough to handle that, then what kind of friendship was it in the first place?
  10. I think I'd enjoy living for short periods outside of my country - say one or two years on assignment. But it would probably take me about that long to lose my midwest hick accent! In the long run though, I'd always want to come back to the states.
  11. Taking the first bite out a chocolate Pop Tart. Listening to my nephew tell a story when he gets so excited he starts slurring his words. My stuffed elephant Ollie - who was a gift from someone I loved more than life itself.

    Dangerous Impulses

Thanks - glad you like it! And Kim might have wished Adam was straight a little, but mainly I was trying to portray her as an over the top sterotype trying to annoy Adam.

  18. "Damn, what have I got myself into?" Geoff muttered to himself and glanced out the window to the runway below. He could feel those dreaded knots in his stomach forming even as his hands gripped the armrests even tighter. Geoff hated flying even in the best of times. But it wasn’t the dread of flying that was causing him so much angst. No, Geoff’s fear of flying would have been a welcome respite to what he was experiencing now. Geoff glanced over to the seat next to him, taking in the well dr
  19. Shy, introverted Geoff finds himself agreeing to meet one of his online friends - Adam - when he accidently reveals he will be in the area over the weekend. Geoff is forced to meet his insecurites and memories of a painful past while trying to cope with his growing attraction for his new friend.
  20. And I wouldn't be me if I didn't post the lyrics to this song. Whitesnake The Deeper the Love When I look back over everything I've done I know you must have cried a river of tears Cause you were there when I was feeling low to walk me through my darkest fears So when the sun goes down and those nights are growing colder I will be there looking over your shoulder And the deeper the love, the stronger the emotion And the stronger the love, the deeper the devotion There were times I'd almost let you go when I thought I needed to break free But you were there to whisper in my ear why don't you share your dreams with me So when the sun goes down and those nights are growing colder I will be there looking over your shoulder And the deeper the love, the stronger the emotion And the stronger the love, the deeper the devotion I don't mind what you're doing to me I don't mind cause your all I can see I don't mind baby you mean the world to me When the sun goes down and those nights are growing colder I will be there looking over your shoulder Baby, baby, baby So when the sun goes down and those nights are growing colder I will be ther looking over your shoulder Cause the deeper the love, the stronger the emotion And the stronger the love, the deeper the devotion
  21. I don't know if I have one single favorite, but I have one that leaps to mind right now because it reminds me of someone I loved very much who is gone now. So Beautiful Darren Hayes Whether I’m right or wrong There’s no phrase that hits Like an ocean needs the sand Or a dirty old shoe that fits And if all the world was perfect I would only ever want to see your scars You know they can have their universe We’ll be in the dirt designing stars And darlin’ you know You make me feel so beautiful Nowhere else in the world I wanna be You make feel so beautiful Whether I’m up or down There’s no crowd to please I’m like a faith without a clause to believe in it And if all the world was smiling I would only ever want to see your frown You know they can sail away in sunsets We’ll be right here stranded on the ground Just happy to be found You make me feel so beautiful Nowhere else in the world I wanna be You make feel so beautiful I have lost my illusions I have drowned in your words I have left my confusion to a cynical world I am throwing myself at things I don’t understand Discover enlightenment holding your hand You are… So Beautiful

    Don't want to go

Welcome to weather in Illinois! The only thing blocking the cold wind is the occassional stray cow! Mark is right though. Chicago is a great city. Take in the museums if you can - they're great!
  25. EEEP! Thanks for the plug. I appreciate it. Although it still surprises me when people stumble across my story. And surprises me even more when they take the time to read it! Thanks Greg
