  1. ............Don't be so modest, I counted at least 4!!
  2. ..............You realize that you won't be the only one re-reading previous chapters!!!
  3. ................GD it!! Why did I pick this time to quit the f'king evil weed!! Comments later when I settle down
  4. .........Humm, Talon of Steel, also known as shearer of trees, feller of adobes, beaks of magic, tongue of........Whoa!! The goats spell has influenced many!!!
  5. ..........Agreed, tell her you value the friendship too much, hooking up with her would damage that beyond repair!
  6. ...........................I want a plain bagel with lox, onion, tomato slice and cream cheese!! Maybe later I'll go for a shot of bourbon.
  7. The General made sure some of Scars DNA was left on the plane (blood) just before he decided to jump out of a perfect good plane . You can also be sure that the US will be sending troops and a team on the island real soon, to confirm the story. I can only guess that Jim & Linda were far enough away from the tunnel that their bodies were not incinerated by the nuke blast. Scar's body, what is left of it shouldn't be too hard to find!
  8. ...............You basically answered your own question! I was surprised the General was allowed to fly into Israel with two live nuke bombs, but the intelligence coup was too much to pass over, 35 million was well spent. Mossad is not going to let someone fly over Israel airspace with live nukes, I imagine all fusible material will be removed. So what to do with the nukes now? If the US wants them, Instinct should make them pay again, publicly apologize and completely clearing their names. Otherwise have the C-130 loaded and dumped into the Atlantic, two less nukes in the world is ok with me!!
  9. ........Welcome, have a good stay here!
  10. ....................It was kinda anti-climatic after Scars skydiving lesson, oh well, it was truly a relief to be able to relax after having everything but the kitchen sink thrown at you. on top of that Massad would have all in all Helen and Instinct got the better part of the deal getting an extra $5 million, seeing that Mossad made sure that the bombs would never . Excellent Chapter CJ! Cudos for and of course the others. Now that the hard work is done, time for the political fallout! Mr. Graeme will undoubtfully be reassigned to a lovely listening post in northern Alaska or have with his balls intact! CJ, Looking forward to the last and epilogue of this saga, a great ride thank-you very much!! We have decided to and of course you are very deserving of such!!
  11. ........Now James, ya'll just know that aint gonna happen! Unless you have power and an agenda!! A crusade mind ya!!
  12. ..................Because money talks and bullshit walks!! Now that CJ's 'Changing Lanes' is coming to an end. Conner is seeking employment elsewhere, the ever resourceful mercenary that he is!! But that is all !!!! Jeremy rules unwillingly and unaware!
  13. .............Indeed!! This chapter is the pivotal turning point in the whole story. Jeremy's stay has been orchestrated by more than just fate. Braden almost panics at the thought of him leaving, Caleb seems to know about his arrival as does Lidia. David is the only one surprised at Jeremy's presence. Puzzling is the Queen considers him to be family, the King breaks bread with him and heeds his consul. I do not like Caleb, he is conniving, cunning, rich and powerful making him dangerous. He regards Jeremy as prey, taunting him twice with his swords and then his callousness in Veslyn's execution. So why did he present Jeremy with a dagger? I like David because he is so unlike his brother, maybe as warned by Caleb's detractor Veslyn, she may have known too much. David is suspicious of the treaty, yet appears to be concerned enough in consulting with Victor Jericho, another character I dislike and distrust. I believe Victor is just keeping David distracted, why does Caleb stop the fight between Rodef and David?
  14. .............Actually, http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/illegalness
  15. .................Err! I never did the public restroom thing, same here it is a nasty place, and the glory holes were a bit too much! Talk about in your face! ......nope, never put my face up to one of those either. I'd rather see whom I was with.
  16. .................Just when things were looking to be settling down for Jamie and Matt, Li shows up! A classic ploy of having a friend 'feeling' out the friend of the intended. I see Matt's parents were no where in sight, so I guess they still need some time. Nice easy chapter, probably the calm before the storm!!
  17. ............Cruising was dangerous on all fronts, getting outted, trapped by homophobes, cops and of course AIDS was running rampant back then. With the danger was an excitement element, I guess you could equate it to the thrill seeker that skydives or races cars. I remember the bathhouse's were my first time experiences, then I got bolder and went to the gay bars, even though I wasn't 21, they let you in. Funny, I remember the cops closing the bathhouses down (AIDS), but they seemed to leave the bars alone, I remember the cabaret nights but there wasn't any of that wild dancing you see on TV going on. Seems there was an unwritten rule about leaving alone, first time I decided to go home alone I was scared to see four huge guys following me out, turns out they wanted to make sure I got to my car safely. The next thing the cops closed down or better yet, closed up was the glory holes in the movie arcades, then they got rid of the closed doors on the booths replaced with the bar style type doors. (Funny thing was years later, I was sent in to inspect this for compliance as part of my job ) About a year ago, I was in a section of town for a meeting, afterwards I saw an old haunt, I was surprised that it was still open, I stopped by (not looking for any hook-up) and it was being patronized by straight couples and gays alike. You'd think the straights would avoid a place named 'The Back Door' , I shot some pool had a few beers and learned that the entertainment still played out on the weekends. No escort to the car this time, I guess the homophobes left the place alone by then. I'm not ashamed of what I did back then, there was no internet, GSA meetings, or safe gay friendly establishments like there are today. Neither would I advocate anyone doing such a thing today, it was simply a sign of the times and the way it was.
  18. ............Out There
  19. .................Happy reading what??? Oh well, I'm ran down many scenarios in my head on victim/suspect in this tale. I've narrowed it down to the father being the most likely suspect, but that left a slew of possible victims from #3 wife, or the flavor of the month Dad has chosen. Of course wife #3 may not be as empty-headed as she portrays to be, could be the victim (s) are either dear ole dad & the floozy, or both. I had Justin in there until Will's admission that Justin knew, at this point, as the detective, I'd have gotten a hold of Justin and talked to him rather then go through this protracted root canal conversation with Will.
  20. Happy Birthday Fran
  21. .........Actually, hard to miss it has to be Eric! Tequila!
  22. ..............Yep, those old drills, I wise enough to recognize them for what they were really for............kiss your ass goodbye!!
  23. ...........Old & Wizened!!!!!!!!!!
  24. ................... Helen????????????
  25. ......It would be hard to judge (likes & dislikes) at this point other then the 'elitist', Jeremy is so far removed from this group that they are initially taking advantage of him is that obvious. It is a bit hard to define the other characters at this time, other then Caleb is a user, Braden is a follower and Prince David is a pragmatist in the kingdom. Where Jeremy fits in is anyone's guess at this time. But he is involved as either a pawn in foreplay of the lower court, or a knight in the impending battle played forth in the treacherous scene unfolding about. You want definitions? David is the sturdy one, and will lead his people with an open eye. Caleb is dangerous because he is highly intelligent, but just seeks gratification in his quest, Braden is a follower with no direction as he was just playing a game. Jeremy-Kings knight to Kings pawn three.
