.............Perhaps a cliched story, reminesiant to oh, say Sport relieving her tale in 'To Kill A Mockingbird' as she glossed over the mundane to pick up the highlights of less than a year in the life of her story. Not equating it to the classic, just providing parallels. It is obvious that the author was paying tribute to someone who was not only in his life, but was a part of it too. What a wonderful bittersweet story! It would seem Mrs. H was always there for him at his milestones in life, just as he regretted being there for her twilight. Very nice story!!

.............The title was eerie reminiscence to "The Picture of Dorian Gray" in a different direction. And now with Evan painting, I'm wondering where this story is going!! . Humm, love the hippy counselor, met many myself, in my life, doubt they cured me of my ills. But they did let me see myself as a 'spirit on his life's journey'. How f**king quaint!! ..............I have to agree, I just re-read SOB, after a few years hiatus. It should have ended right there after the 1st chapter. It was perfect, those desert bike runs brought back memories, however the story was complete in the first chapter!!

...........How interesting that in the previous chapter, Jeremy is in agreement that he is theirs to command. Yet in this chapter, with his new 'revelations' he now is questioning the royals, is no longer awed, in fact is somewhat arrogant towards them. Someone suggested that perhaps Jeremy is the result of the Kings affair. It now seems even more likely with David soon to be gone, and the dead reporters words that Caleb could not be. Is Braden Jeremy's defender?

.................I was surprised that FTL did not have the sequel after LTMP, instead our resident Goat got caught up in his dangerously lovable nemesis character Scar, aka Parachute-less Jerry. In FTL, we have an evil Eric riding off into the sunset, yep we were goated by an evil Eric whom the goat try's to portray as a misunderstood mixed up drugged-up kid that was being used by corrupt officials for their nefarious ends. Never mind that he shot the deputy, drugged up his brother and his lover and tied them to ground to endure a painful death. He saves them in the end, but only because it benefits him in the long run. YES, I have waited for this sequel

.....Humm!! That was one of the strong points that I liked about this story, the historical POV, the era described was very vivid to me. I could relate to much of it.

.............Great chapter, I loved the dinner/date, Evan's smooth delivery to his 'immature' parents. Looking forward to more.

.............Good story of two perfectly matched antagonist's whose sole purpose is to outdo each other, neither admitting their reason being that they will not admit their love for each other. The competition has climaxed all over the school, unwitting and un-wanting divisions of a win-by-win brokered truce, the warriors have accomplished the highest form of self-denial. But has their blatant war conspired the school to act in their deference? Luca resumes the quest after being ignored in the cafeteria, after Case's triumph over the Pubies vs, Clobey vs. The high archy!! David is very clo9se and deceased in Case's past, Luca is well aware of this. Hahaha! Nope, It is definitely not about rowing!!!

...........Maybe not unresolved, but unclear as to whether the bodies of Jim, Linda and Pvt. Johnson were located and retrieved from the island. Memorials need not have actual burials, even in Arlington. I also wonder if a search was conducted for Scar (Splatzo) body?

A guy is driving around hillbilly country in Florida and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale ' He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there. 'You talk?' he asks. 'Yep,' the Lab replies. After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?' The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country,sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. ' 'I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running..But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting anyyoungerso I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious charactersand listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batchof medals.' 'I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.' The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog. 'Ten dollars,' the guy says. 'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?' 'Because he's a liar. He never did any of that shit.

............Humm, China made many tactical errors, losing everything they threw at Taiwan. NK, lost the element of surprise and should have backed down after it's early losses. I see another civil war brewing, but this time the north will surrender easily, as food supplies disappear and moral declines. The new Medical CO, makes a mistake in affronting Tom and crew. He may be just jealous of their new found fame. Great Chapter James look forward to more!!
