........Sputters......ahj..... well I do have to make sure corrections are in place otherwise the goat will reprehend me on inaccuracies!! ....Damn it Tiger, you made me post another one here!!
.........This is from a goat that has been scouring the countryside for for cliffs, apparently running out of them in Arizona. He had to look over the state of Alaska!! Finding some obscure places that appeased him in his quest for supremacy in his goal of overtaking his Shadowyness in the lofty goal of King of all cliffhangers!
.........Sheeeeeze! We don't even have the very late Chapter 10 out, and yet we have at least ten responses to his next chapter. The Evilness does not diminish with the platitudes from the goat or the minions responses.
...........I thought I responded to this story before, so I am perplexed at not at reading the response's and not seeing mine.
I was taken back by the 'ghost theme' and didn't see it until the end. You got me there, I totally forget the theme of the anthology. It was a great one though, cleverly mixing past with present leaving the 'dead fathers' anthology the substance of the undeserved guilt/ridden complexed life of his son, to whom he always loved without reservations.
...........I kinda see that
Will will get more involved and as time goes on, he will in fact move to have an investigation brought forth against Nate & Sophie's father for endangerment and possible sex abuse.
..............I just read chapter 7.
Just when you think Nate can let out a small sigh of relief, the awful truth of 'parenting' rushes back at him. Nate is learning fast that he needs Will in their lives if he is going to survive. Bran should be figuring this out by now, especially if they are going to pick Will up on their way to the hospital. Looks like Nate will have to 'spill' the beans, Nate can't continue the charade and Will and Bran will soon confront him. Great chapter Libby, love the tempo!
..............Accolades to you Tiger in bringing up these obvious cliffhanger moments from the goats or his Shadowyness's stalking into the evilness of cliffhanging. Prowlers beware of this intriging yet confusing aspect of the forthcoming chapter of Changing Lanes or is it 'changing places', or 'goats and high cliffs' or 'shadows and low places' or even 'Shadow Lanes'
..............Hey Libby, I got to agree with Altimexus here. Poor Jake is in sooooo much denial and his best friend has figured it all out. Suddenly Shane becomes the victim in this drama, where will Cloe come in to play? Jake's father seems to have put forth a a peace offering, leaving the only one in this saga confused is Jake. Jake is the piece of the puzzle that refuse's to be put in place. Great story, can't wait for more!
