    I learned a valuable lesson from this chapter. Cliffhangers only trouble me when I care about what happens to the characters involved. I’d feel bad for Graham and how he’d handle a bad outcome. Wally? Meh. As much as I’m trying to view him, experience him, from a place of empathy, his inner monologue makes it difficult. Let’s see how much ‘control’ he has over the Gulf.

    I love that they are together pursuing their individual arts. Andy’s writing, Zander’s drawing. And this story? This beautiful story is timeless. Without a single doubt I can say this is a story, a novel, a journey, a precious piece of art in and of itself that will stand the test of time. I’m going to sit and smile and reflect on how much I’ve come to treasure this, these characters, Andy’s awakening. The expression of love that exists from A to Z. On to the epilogue…

    Eustace at the wedding is a nice idea. I couldn’t have smiled harder at Eustace’s reaction to the name change. Get the hay out of your hair made me laugh out loud. This safe, sheltered, well-fed Andy is a joy to be with. Such a great read.

    Zander’s POV makes me melt every time. Hard to be too angry with Greg. What he did is way beyond ‘stubborn boys’ but it’s very believable that a wounded teen would lash out and take others down with him. Zander leaping into action, doing damage control, says so much about him, his integrity. Stubborn boy.
