Exactly! For Matty, the catboy persona is what he thinks truly attracts Rusty. There will come a time when Matty will grow frustrated of his own creation. The Slicky is a mask Matty uses to get closer to Rusty. That mask works as a closet for Matty, to hide his true self out of fear of his loved one's rejection. Darkness of a closet is soul crushing and Matty will want to escape it.

Oh Yeah! Like Aaron never knew about Carter switching with Alex in 'The Box Shaped Heart'. So what if one day Rusty goes to Slicky and confess that he may like Slicky but he is in a no-escape love with Matty. That'll be so fun! 😍😍😍

Another crazy thought..... At the moment, Slicky is a hero to Rusty; a hero that both challenges him and rescues him. Now what if Rusty grows too fond of Slicky and when Matty reveals his identity, he takes him as a liar! Rusty may think Matty is lying about being Slicky out of jealousy!! 😱😱😱 God, I feel like a custom made relationship-banshee. Sorry guys, it's my exam session ominous mouth talking.

And yet you can't help but love them and root for them. Bravo, @Salander You are one hell of a skilled writer. And I still hate Anus and wish he's dead. Thank you. Sorry, sorry, sorry I'm late! I feel like I'm one of those natural pessimistic person but I've genuine fears now! Rusty intents to show restraints the next time he is with Matty and Matty will go thinking that Rusty is done with all the gay stuff 😨 And I think then Matty will have to make another appearance as Slicky, just to check if Rusty has found someone new. Or maybe just to get another chance to be closer to his crush. Sorry, now it's more love than crush and I must respect that. I'd say though, detective Rusty showed a little lack of judgment this time around. Matty never said he wants someone out of the ivy league college. Rusty made a misjudgment out of his own insecurities and frustrations. This story is going to get super complicated 😨 and that will be so fun to read! 😁 A question for @Laura S. Fox : Can Matty sing? And not just like a better sounding shower-singer but an OMG-level singer?? I just want him to challenge Rusty in his core competency.
