I always have a fun time with our very own Lady Whistledown / Xpress, even when it writes things that make a lot of mess. Xpress has a sensibility, a sort of emotional value attached to its gossips. What I mean to say is that the Xpress intends to add spices to the lives of Sunny Hillers. But the S.H.I.T. only wants to blend poison in those young minds and hearts of the Sunny Hills. S.H.I.T is simply cruel, very unlike the Xpress. And why it's always that the older ones get more quickly attracted towards free-floating, pretty looking shits? Aren't they are the ones who claim to have their shits already sorted? Yes, I'm very much indicating at Mr. Roy Parker. I don't like his remarks about Maddox's parents being upset about their son being gay. He really sounded like a peehole! I thought Parker senior as a very complex character and I still believe so. But after that Kingsley family comment, Mr. Parker will have to do a lot of things to persuade me to sympathize with him. But other then that, the party was fun. So, Matty went in dressed up as Matty himself, well almost. As I predicted. Shell I take the hint and become the Lord Whistledown of the Sunny Hills?

I don't think August is a bad person. I don't want her to be a bad person. And an unfaithful wife that cheated on her monster of a husband who had beaten her up - those are grey areas. There is nothing black and white or good and bad in it. I think we shouldn't judge her so quickly.

So things just got very real! And I like it. So far the story was going through a well known territory, but now we're about to enter a sort of uncharted waters. I've read of hot jocks with troubled pasts before, I've read of them having deep emotions. But all those stories never delved into this much of strong and confusing emotions. Very much interested to see who August is and how her character develops. Will August go out with Zoey? Here's a fun thing. Right after finishing this chapter, I went straight to listen to Taylor Swift's song 'August'. You know the lyrics - But I can see us lost in the memory August slipped away into a moment in time 'Cause it was never mine And I can see us twisted in bedsheets August sipped away like a bottle of wine 'Cause you were never mine All I want to say is that, Chasing Rusty Parker just notched up to another level. ❤️

True, Rusty will never get to spend a lifetime with me and maybe we'll never get our "together, happily ever after." But the few moments (as @Doha mentioned) Rusty sees me and spends time on me, with me - we live a hundred lifetimes in those "occasional" yet precious moments. Our love runs deeper.

It better be Matty and not Rusty. Or I will have to join Zoey's criminal squad.
