    Rarely do situations resolve themselves in neat packages all wrapped up with a pretty bow. Why should Dino and Avery be any better off? My father used to "accuse" me of always landing on my feet. But I do not live in a HEA universe, though in the final analysis I shouldn't complain (though I sometimes do anyways). I'll be on the lookout for more "packaging" from @Boy Mercury X, with whom I am not totally unfamiliar; the "Boy" is a good lad!

    Astounding. I shouldn't be surprised, given who authored this tale. So much here calls to be read and re-read over again. I'm not certain I have the courage so to do, not because the story is somehow fragile and might not "survive" the retelling, but because there is a perfection in the first encounter with certain texts. Besides, if I come back to these "pages," I'm not sure I will be the same person, much as one never steps into the same River twice. Indeed, I will have been changed by my first reading. "Astounding is indeed the word that comes to mind. Thanks @D.K. Daniels.

    Three years and counting for me at this point. We didn't even exchange names, but we were both clearly filled with regret that we never got beyond "see ya 'round" ... I'm still kicking myself. I can be my own worst enemy sometimes. I guess life imitates art - far too often.

    Very, very rarely have I used the Angry emoticon. But this episode was hideous. I was subjected to a few abusive incidents in my day, but this stands out as much worse than anything I endured. Maybe I was a bit "sheltered," but it was still heinous.
