Even though I know nothing about the legal world, I suspect I will be able to relate to this on so many levels. Very much looking forward to see how this develops, and how much of myself - and of my Main Man - that I'll be able to see in the telling of the tale. -

Of course Will and Aiden are an item - it was an outcome devoutly to be wished (with apologies to that other Will, as in Shakespeare). But to be honest, I must admit to being surprised by this turn of events, even though it has been more than hinted at for much of the story. As for Will's "engagement," I have dealt with the press for decades, and such erroneous reports could simply be a mistake - but the more I think about it, I somehow doubt it.

The good Doctor speaks volumes. Alas, I don't think Jamie has any meaningfully workable concept of grace - not that he would have learned anything of the sort, given the upbringing he was subjected to. Fortunately, Luca has given him a glimpse of what grace can mean.

The rose-colored-glasses part of me yearns to believe that this is the turning point, that Jamie's father has done his worst, and now the police are involved, realizing that something isn't quite adding up. Maybe, just maybe, Jamie's father will get his comeuppance, and that Luca will stand by his man. Is that too much to ask for?

First of all, Fellow Readers (and @Josh Aterovis) I "repent" of my comment at Chapter 1 (or was it 2?) that I had a "Josh" in my own life. Well, "my" Josh is nothing like this guy turned out to be. Echoing thoughts of my Fellow Readers at various points, I suspect Joey is dealing with a lot of self-hatred as a closet case - not that I'm an expert in that field.
