Woah. Things gor really intense. I figured for a while that it was Caleb ever since his crashout ranting about how much he fantasized about killing Ira. Finn was an unexpected villain though. I figured he was just letting Caleb stay the night and Caleb snuck out to kill his dad, but Finn was in on everything. Maybe after Killian spoke with Marco, Marco went to investigate things on his own and ran into Finn who, well, tied him up. I suspect they were about to do the same with Asher in the barn if Killian hadn’t intervened.

Woah a magical date night with a wonderful gentleman. A nice dinner, stargazing on the beach and dancing in a club. And possibly leading to Killian losing his V-card. Perfect way to forget about Asher, who is now dating a younger sociopathic liar and possible murderer.

“are you maybe taking some small measure of satisfaction in showing Asher that the guy he left you for wasn't all he made him out to be?“ Seth hit the nail on the head! He is quite smart for a spectral being. Stop. Reporting. To. Asher. He can find out when the investigation is complete. It’s time to stop dwelling on your toxic ex, Killian. 😔

Adam crashed out too because of Steve’s decision to buy the almost 180 year old haunted mansion. Some more interesting characters appear. Ira’s parents and Rachel’s aunt are quite hostile about things. Marco also appears and is very over the top to say the least. A lot of dislike towards Killian in the comments, but his life is a bit chaotic right now so I cut him some slack. Asking Adam what his problem was out in public wasn’t his smartest move though.

Caleb totally crashed out at that meeting. I get that he’s frustrated but screaming about how much he wished and hoped and prayed that he could get rid of his dad is some red flags thst maybe he is the killer. Asher also crashed out when being told some extra information. He is dating Caleb now and got upset to find out Caleb was cheating. And apparently it’s Killian’s fault for telling Asher the truth?! Micah, the reporter, is quite charming. He’s out of college so maybe a little old for Killian but there’s some interesting interactions there. Maybe this is how Killian moves on from Asher.

I’m glad I was able to find this third story. A bit sad to see Asher and Killian not getting along. They worked well together in the first story but I guess we started seeing tension there in the second story.

Holy cow! What a twist! Kyle seemed so normal and kind but he’s a psychopath serial killer…. 😳😮 Oliver better watch out. And I hope they check that syringe for fingerprints.

Chandler is a weasel. He charms his way in. Takes what he wants and then leaves. Everyone tells Andrew about this recurring behavior from Chandler, it happens to him. He gets cheated on, had his boundaries violated, and he still loves the weasel and wants to get back with him again?? This is some Stockholm syndrome stuff.

Been holding off on my comments so far but this chapter was the final straw before I felt the need to say something lol. Andrew needs to pause and think about what he’s doing and who to associate with. Might be difficult because he’s barely in high school, but he keeps getting involved with these older guys who are nothing but trouble and trying to take advantage of him (Chandler first and now Marcus). He has a perfectly sweet Jase who likes him and he likes as well, but he’s too stubborn to get together with him, apparently. He almost got there when Chandler cheated on him but immediately started hanging out with the cheater again like nothing happened.

"Yeah. She had the abortion the same day we talked about it at the café, when she told me she wasn’t going through with it." I guess we figured out the situation with the baby. He/she has been dead for a while now but wasn’t a total lie early on. The baby is pretty much the reason Joey is dead when she confronted him about the pregnancy. A bit startling all the lies she told about her past/family situation.

Aidan nooooo! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 They just got married! Will’s dad also died. Too much death in this chapter. Ugh at Adam for not locking the door after he cleaned up. A little skunk named Caitlin got in. Thank God Laura was just a red herring. But all the red herrings are blue ones now.

Ugh, Laura is now prime suspect number one. I day ugh because she seemed like a good friend. But I guess she slipped out of that meeting to go murder Robbie and why she stayed at Keiyara’s dorm to kill her. This seems very out of character for her so hopefully I’m not falling for a red herring. i’m glad Will’s Dad got to make peace before his passing due to those heart attacks. It baffles me he didn’t get the surgery when that is probably what God wanted.

Iliana is the only sane one in this chapter, besides Laura & Gabe I guess. I can’t believe Adam is going along with this whole surprise wedding thing when Aidan and Will barely began dating. I am getting the suspicion that Caitlin really does just want to use Will as a sugar daddy. The baby may not even be real at this point judging by her reaction to Will’s question. She may have already aborted the baby or the baby miscarried. I guess she’s not far along enough to have a baby bump or baby isn’t in there anymore. But the refusal to let him see any progress on the baby is pretty telling. Gabe finding the red stained rock is pretty interesting. Could have been the weapon of murder (or suicide if my previously outlined theory is true) in Joey’s death.

This chapter had a lot going on. I think Laura might need some therapy. Understandable since Joey died and Will almost died a couple times, too. And, ugh, Caitlin is already treating Will like a “sugar daddy”. Luckily for her, many nonprofit pregnancy centers exist that offer those kinds of medical services (checks on the baby and etc) for free for pregnant women. Not sure how I feel about Jack but I’m glad he made attempts to reconnect with Joey and get to know him. Yelling at him was maybe not the best idea but his intentions were in the right place. Joey was going berserk and could have used a wakeup call. As for Aidan, I think it may be too early to be considering Marriage. The boys are only like 18-19 or so and they just got together less than a week ago. Give it some time!

Ok, I have a new theory now (Josh please yell loudly at me (all caps) if I am going too far) Theory in spoilers if any of ya don't want to read it. In other matters, the poshy Baltimore art critics like Will's art and see potential as he grows as an artist. One of the journalists posted a fake news bit about him having a fiancee... like what? Don't post a caption like that without actually confirming... ugh. And, finally, Will & Aidan are in a relationship. Aidan should have been maybe a little more patient, given Will's emotional state over the last month or so regarding his suicide attempts and Joey's death, but Aidan was always loyal.

Things get a bit more spicy. Beginning of the chapter was way out of my league. High society events are unfamiliar to me. I’m glad it was a success, though. One of my characters (story was taken down for rewriting) is a bit of an art prodigy for being in high school and would probably get one of those gallery events when an adult. And an “outside the law” murder investigation has begun. Asher definitely doesn’t want he and Killian to get involved based on the first story and I don’t blame him.

The detective was being quite rude about it, but Will shouldn’t have thrown away the package and please bring that necklace to Joey’s mom like you said you would! Ugh! 🤦🏻

So, Joey is dead. 😵 I guess his reckless behavior got him into the situation around that. I guess the details around his death will be investigated in more chapters. I agree with Aidan about Will not being able to take care of a baby and there’s more solutions like adoption. All US states, territories, and DC have “safe haven” laws as well where unwanted babies can be left in the care of people at hospitals/police stations/etc. i’m glad Will went to visit Joey’s mom to talk to her. I guess it’s time to bring Killian in to investigate another potential murder.

Woof. I remember why I never went to college parties ha. joey has gone fully off the rails. He’s addicted to weed, alcohol, and sex. I’m glad Will seems to finally realize this and his crush on Joey should be over. I hope Joey gets help though if he’s not the one dead in the pool. But it’s a frat patty so that dead person could be anyone. As for the baby, the wisest option would be for Caitlin to put him/her up for adoption. Will is crazy to offer to help her raise the baby. Will isn’t mentally or financially ready for that step. He’s only 18, between jobs, and just had two su*de attempts in the last month. Will also got some nice pictures that he can hopefully turn into paintings for the gallery.

I guess the jumping thing from last chapter was real. That was really scary and I was hoping it was a dream. Hopefully, Will can realize he has people on his side like Aidan, Laura, Gabe, and his mom. Aidan understandably feels hurt. It’ll take a while to build that trust back. But my god, Will, do not push him away again. That boy is the best thing to happen to you in the story here so far.

Oh god and I thought the other chapter was rock bottom. I really hope this is just another nightmare. Might have been a bit risky for Aidan to attempt to leave Will to sleep alone at night, kissing with him, and then (I'm assuming) have a sexual experience together. Will is still on s*de watch and might be better to not get risky romantic/sexual emotions going on just a few weeks after his attempt. Especially after Will's good news about his art sales and new job at the art gallery and I fee; like Aidan just set him back if this last scene isn't a nightmare.

Will is going through a lot. Understandable as he’s lost his family, job, and best friend all within a few days time. The trigger warning was definitely needed for this one. I’m in a much better place now but I’ve been through temporary periods of depression before. Things do get better. Aidan is such a sweet friend caring for Will, stopping his… attempt… and altering his schedule to watch over Will. It will be good for him to focus on his art. Good art of course and not those deeply disturbing drawings that Aidan violently rips apart and burns. The medication seemed to work thankfully. Psychological medication never worked for me just made everything dull and emotionless which is no way to live life. A very interesting chapter at rock bottom and hopefully things get better for Will. ❤️

When Joey got mad at Will for coming out I wanted to yell at him. When Joey sloppily emailed the pastor about it, forcing Will to quit his job, his only source of income at this point, I wanted to punch Joey. He is no “best friend”. He went way too far.

Will starts to realize he might be in love with Joey, who we haven’t seen for a while. I don’t remember Killian being this nosy around people he just met for the first time haha. Will got a bit of awakening about different views of the Bible as well. It’s more human than what many pastors advertise it as being “the unchanging words of God”. Will also gets an offer to potentially have his art displayed in a local gallery. Hopefully he can become a professional artist soon.

I started reading this new story yesterday as it’s a sequel to the original. Will reminds me a lot of myself in a few different ways, so I have some ideas of what kind of things might be happening around that haha. Aiden seems sweet and will hopefully be a better influence on Will than the uptight overbearing parents. And I’m interested to see Killian & Asher again coming up soon.
