Four more looked out from each corner of the roof of the house. The last one was a view of the basement outside the panic room’s door. Jerry surreptitiously enabled the view screen in the basement that showed the interior of the panic room. He hoped at some point the police would search the base

  7. Maybe. But I think you may be surprised.
  8. Yep, this is a quick one, almost no waiting.
  9. Well, in that case, perhaps you will get it upon his return, and a little in the epilogue.
  10. Thanks much. I'm afraid everybody will be disappointed because tomorrow's chapter is the end. Maybe I need to find a way to continue this one.
  11. Glad you're enjoying it.
  12. Jerry put his ear buds in, making sure they connected, “Can you hear me Julius?” “Yes, but be quiet.” Jerry made his way to the master bathroom, locking the bedroom and bathroom doors behind him. “I’m in the master bath. I don’t think they’re...” Jerry heard the window breaking, “They broke a window.” “Then maybe you want to shut up?” “Okay, okay. I’m nervous.” He didn’t stay quiet for long, “Was that a gunshot?” “Probably. And unless you want the next bullet i

That's coming soon. Parts 2 & 3 tomorrow and Wednesday.
  21. Julius was awakened by the phone ringing. ‘Damn him. He wants the phone on his side of the bed, but he never hears it.’ “Trevor, wake up.” Nothing. Julius shoves Trevor. “Huh?” “Answer the phone.” “Wha…” “Answer the fucking phone.” “Why’s the phone ringing?” “I don’t know. Maybe if you answer it, you’ll find out.” “Hello? … Why’s it still ringing?” “Not your cell, the house phone.” “Shit... Hello?” The caller whispered, “You gotta
  22. Prompt #265 Write a story that begins with a phone call at three in the morning. Trevor insisted the house phone be on his side of the bed. There was one problem with that; Trevor was nearly impossible to wake up. One night, the phone rings at three AM. Julius has a hard time waking Trevor, but finally succeeds. Trevor finally answers the phone on the ninth ring. The phone call starts something they never could have expected.
  23. Definitely, Jerry Eubanks is shown as playing flute for the band.
  24. You made your deadline. It’s still Saturday night until you wake up on Sunday. Great “end” to the story. You know we’ll all be waiting for part 2. But take your time. I know I still have Gabriel to attack.
  25. Radio in my car, music I downloaded on my phone lots of other times. Lately I’ve been listening to the songs I created on suno.com a lot. If you’re curious: https://suno.com/@lee_666_wilson FYI, I provided the lyrics, and told it what style i wanted.
