  1. Contributing to the body count in more ways than one.
  2. Columbo is going to need help from Sherlock Holmes, Harry Bosch, Lincoln Rhyme, and a psychiatrist.
  3. Indeed.

    Prologue

That's very true IRL. But here? We’ll see.

    Prologue

So very wrong. Ideas coming out of left field are one thing. These are in the wrong city completely.
  6. It wasn’t all that bad. A comma here, a typo there… I don’t think any of the chapters needed more than 200 changes. I jest, not even sure I ever reached 20.

    Prologue

    Ain’t it though?
  8. That holding of my dick never happened during my sleepovers in my teens. What a rotten childhood I had.
  9. Damn, not subtle enough. Might need to use you to replace one of the detectives.
  10. Jonathan Robinson somehow obtained bail for the rape of two women. At his arraignment, the judge felt while the evidence was sufficient to hold him over for trial, it wasn't looking like an open and shut case. The Public Defender, Gerald Dance, argued sufficiently well enough to obtain bail for his client. Jonathan returned to his life. He was self-employed as a Web Designer, so he didn't lose his job due to the charges. He did lose a couple female clients, but that didn't surprise him. Wha
  11. Jonathan Robinson was frightened, "Where are you taking me?" "Just drive, rapist." "I haven't been convicted." "In the immortal words of Tommy Lee Jones in 'The Fugitive,' I don't care." "Great, kidnapped by a movie buff." "I can quote movie lines all day. Just shut up and drive.” After a number of twists and turns the kidnapper indicated they were almost there. “You'll be turning left onto the second unnamed road in about a mile." The turn arrived, and Jo
  12. Another episode from the files of Detective Gennaro Saggio. Things have been relatively quiet. Orono, Maine has once again returned to being a sleepy little town. Detective Saggio is working Memorial Day, not looking forward to investigating the excitement caused annually by drunks. There was excitement, but not the kind he expected.
  13. It might. Blowing up the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame wouldn’t be a bad idea.
  14. Lots of hope in there. How much is realistic, hmmm?
  15. Can’t say, but there’s always the epilogue. We’ll just have to wait and see. The good news is, it won’t be a long wait. Thanks. One of these may be the case.
  16. Probably some you won’t even expect.
  17. Rod has more surprises for you all. True about Jerry.
  18. Sunday October 16 We'll mind-meld with Rod for this chapter. My mom comes to visit the next day, but I'm ready to be discharged. She calls the school and speaks with the Dean. Fortunately, he has decided that circumstances drove me to make my decision. I may come back to school but will be on probation for the rest of the school year. Mom repeats this to me. I've already resolved to get my act together; this is just one more incentive for me. The Dean wishes to meet with me and my pare
  19. I guess that makes sense. Awful lot of of extra effort, but you know your process best. I have no problem sharing the blame.
  20. Another great chapter. Guess I missed a couple typos. Probably didn’t read through this one twice. It’s so hard to comment on the early chapters when you know what’s coming. But editing for Jason was enjoyable, so I’ll suffer with adding lame comments 😇

    Chapter 12

Apparently so, or @Ronyx did. Great chapter by the way. Who is going to win the Alex sweepstakes? Will Neil get the silver medal with Gerry? Did Lucas really run away? Does Owen even know Neil is staying with his dad temporarily? Looking forward to the answers to these and more.
