  1. Yep, moving sucks.
  2. That would be asking a lot.
  3. Well, he found out a lot, but Bart didn’t have much.
  4. Very true. Although the ‘Dutch Giant,’ Olivier Richters, would leave you with broken bones if you ran into him.

    Rod's Crisis

    Definitely, in both cases.
  6. Glad you liked it.

    Prologue

    We will at that.
  8. I’ll have to fix that. Pasting from dropbox isn’t perfect. It showed up right in notepad++ Agreed on the future chapters.
  9. Not specially the biblical Noah, as in my parents read the bible daily. The Noah mentioned in the song. Same guy, just not where the idea originated. Damn. I knew I lost the gay pride shirt in a missed transfer from the phone.
  10. Maybe more, we’ll see. Although part 2’s epilogue contains a massive spoiler.
  11. Coming right up!
  12. Usually on my phone. I’ll hit YouTube if I come across something I want to hear that isn’t among the 2218 songs in my hand.
  13. The weekend before his move, Bart rented a truck in Melbourne and emptied his apartment. His office at the Hyatt SLH was attached to a hotel room. He generally didn't use it, so it was often rented. For his final week, he'd stay in that room and live out of a garment bag. Suits were his preferred attire. He was leaving on good terms, so his district manager approved the free use of the room for the week. He would have a similar setup at the Hilton and would begin that job living there for almost
  14. @chris191070 has written a winner. From a difficult point in Rick’s and Alec’s young lives, we travel with them from homelessness to, well, something better. You’ll have to read it to find out what. It will definitely be worth your time. This is one I’m sure I’ll be rereading. Take a chance. You’ll love it too!

    Epilogue

A touching, beautiful ending. But you left out the part where Rick’s sperm donor dies a horribly painful death.
  16. Yeah, I can understand the lack of continuity. And sometimes, my characters aren’t consistent in their actions.
  17. He’ll be working on that soon.
  18. Wonderful chapter, although I fear the end is coming. Loved the inside look at the competition. Had thought about writing a singing competition. Probably couldn’t come close to how well this was done. Loved Alec’s recognition of Rick’s discomfort and addressing it. Good job.
  19. Yes. I decided bad parents was a better way to go. Mostly because even though I research a little for my stories, I thought I made them too young to really be able to make that work.
  20. Like I said last chapter, she’s one of my worst.
  21. Stephanie got a few votes as my most hated character. She gets hers in the end. I don’t usually treat the meanies well.
  22. Hopefully things work out for Carson’s family. Jason Sr. Should do alright.
  23. Understood. Simon doesn’t last long, but there is plenty more that might raise your ire. Brandon isn’t stepping out.
  24. I can sometimes make my characters too shallow in the depth of their description. In this case, I’d say Ed’s fear that perhaps a gay man may molest his son id how that is reconciled, however internalized it may have been. I probably wouldn’t spend much time on that beach. But being there, one almost has to experience it, even if only got a short while and fully clothed. Not sorry we checked it out.
