She was lucky. My mom had the VA benefit, and SSI, but it still took more than a thousand out of her savings every month to make up the difference. Fortunately, her and dad were smart with investing in bonds and the like and she didn't run out of money before she passed.

Another nice, quiet chapter. It's definitely difficult when one has to help place a parent or parents in places like this. Even the ones that look okay initially may not remain that way. Both of the places described offer a lot more than where my mom stayed for the last few years of her life. And if memory serves, it was way more than Al mentioned and that was ten years ago when she passed.

Some of that is jumping way ahead, so I won’t answer anything that might be construed as a spoiler. Whole tour, yes. Up and comers. I see this as only their second tour after getting some MTV like time. The first tour would have been small clubs. They have a small dedicated following at this point. Whether or not they get big… don’t know yet. Kevin is falling for Eric for sure. Eric is at about the same point. They both think the other is gorgeous. Eric is definitely popular with the girls, a comment above made this fact obvious.

Okay, so Lenny Allen wasn't the best looking guy in Kevin's senior class. He was far from ugly and Kevin was pretty sure he loved him. Kevin was devastated when he heard the news.
