I'd tell you a story about my extended family, but then I'd have to kill you. Or rather, ask someone to.
-
Yes, on the one-handed instruments. Personal knowledge there brought that into the flow. My mom had a stroke and lived nine years with a severely impaired hand. Rocky's growing up, for sure. Bass is good for Manny, and vice versa. Eh, nothing major planned there.
-
Apparently, my writing is a good prompt for bad puns.

I don't really touch on this point, so I'll explain my thinking. I think they're just too straight-laced to like the idea. So, they still love their son, but don't like what he's getting into, so to speak. He'll be putting a bumper sticker on his locker that says 'My Dad was a Russian mob hit-man.' 😁

Yep, I just expanded the coaster, so the ride is going to be bumpy for a while. Hopefully, I didn't miss any weld points.
-
It would be funny, but things like skin-tone are taken into account when looking for a match. Yes. That was confirmed in his conversation with Priscilla in chapter 14.
-
Yes, he's got a pretty flexible personality. He'll talk to Bobby, but not about gay sex.
-
Wow. I need to start publishing these around the time I wake up. This checking for comments 8 hours later is for shit. 😇 I love the interaction, so I will be responding to you all.

Rocky went to see his friend Kenny after dinner. They played some video games, but Kenny got curious. "What did you need to talk to that guy Steve about?" "Um. Something about a couple more of his friends." "The gay kids?" "Oh, you know that?" "Yeah, the whole school does. I've heard that they say they're not boyfriends, but they went to the Valentine's Day dance last year together. I wasn't there, but other kids said, it was really weird watching them dance close."

Oh, I’m not expecting problems with the barbecue, later maybe, though.

True, he would have been even happier missing more with no other ramifications. Karma is sniffing around him. -

Good friends are patient at times like this. Paying the bills voluntarily, I think tends to reduce the chance of a lawsuit. Yes, therapy is in his future. Thanks. -
Everybody’s settling into their new homes and/or routines. Ollie gets to meet the extended family. He’ll be very surprised at the birthday party. Chris and Andre are getting into the dad and uncle routine. What could go wrong? Mom makes a stink? Maybe.

Checkered past... Hmmm... True, apologies should go both ways. I'll get Manny to deduct the price of the shirt from what gets paid for both sets of medical bills. Oops. Did I really say both? 😈 I have no plans to bring them back into the picture, so we'll say they learned their lesson. Not something I have any plan to fuck with.- 31 comments

Life has given you a potato. What are you going to do with it? - Make lemonade? Oh, wait, different food. I'd say slice it and fry it. Potato chips or French fries, either work. Which Gay Authors story are you reading currently? - Stories, actually. Firstly, my own in progress, over and over and over and over. But others: - Out Of The Closet By RichardWrites - Andre and Chris By Paladin - Thicker Than Water By John Henry - You're so Weird By Arch Hunter - Secrets 2: Looking Through Different Eyes By Bill W What singular superpower would you love to possess? - Toss-up between invisibility and astral projection into another person. Ever since I read 'Body Rides' by Richard Laymon, I thought that would be soooooo cool. Summary here: https://www.amazon.com/Body-Rides-Richard-Laymon-ebook/dp/B00ECZMKV6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=11GLT1F6JAP8J&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.wtQQjgEwqh7v_PF0eAOCgLlc8KW9oAoOtO7ODNWMUlHpuqxpsj7Uu5vCho8ZIwzOvDcrkm91M4nifqPC9pezYI-iQ_E8oPXz8KPtM4RmsJyq8j2xQgILk9VDQ7i23XrKZ4otH9GhyZFgiQfzRtqGi_Jszx6Z6w7HeB5pU5SBnB6KAteW1HM1CiOOUXR3y6Nltt3dZ0x-ptLZpCyDjXd30P00RNxyTSOAijebrWubmQM.-UGXhf-Win6lqTOLfx2SU1uMEq1GvlL1KaAECXxuXEY&dib_tag=se&keywords=body+rides+richard+laymon&qid=1717601249&sprefix=body+rides%2Caps%2C278&sr=8-1 -

Yes. My motivations already covered. It's hard to punish someone for acting in self-defense, even if there may be a hint of subconscious reasoning as well. Call that some foreshadowing for you all. -

Manny would probably have done more to the three stooges if he was there instead. The association with the man who caused him to lose his arm hid any sort of negative reaction to the incident. Correct. Awesome, another vote for fwuit salad! Thanks for the compliment about that topic. It will continue a bit more. Pretty sure you'll be getting a head's up about that before the end of the week. The others, probably a week from today.- 31 comments

Answering the phone was both a reflex reaction and a way to break up the monotony of lying in a hospital bed for days. -

Manny took Bass' actions lighter because Bass' victims had an association with Wally. Anger over what happened to him could easily overrule other emotions. Your opinion about Bwuce is well formed. You will get another chance to vent at him, I'm sure of it. I'd say hold that though for a few chapters. You may end up with a different opinion about it. Thanks. I think more of those unbiased opinions will be "heard."- 31 comments

The Visit and A Lesson In Tolerance

Sometimes you're in a no-win situation with bullies. Often no matter how much you win in battles, sometimes the war is lost anyway. I could have indicated the school didn't even know Manny was in the hospital. But, if you've ever spent an extended period of time hospitalized, you'll know that any distraction is welcome. Even a phone call from an unknown caller.- 31 comments

No apology, at least not yet. Glad you liked the fwuit response. I think it was an episode of the little rascals where I think it was Scottie who said, "They'll never learn." Will that be the case here? We shall see, won't we? -

Rocky made Bruce miss a couple days of school. Call it a suspension. Yes, interaction with gay boys his own age is a lot different than with Manny and Bass. It will take him some time to find his comfort level. Yep, like I said above, there will not much anger to flood over to family. You noticed the going too well. I wonder what the author has planned.- 31 comments

The Visit and A Lesson In Tolerance

Rocky's actions were self-defense, Bass' purely anger. Bass inflicted a lot more damage as well. Mr. Delber will be making another appearance.
