Might be a little slower than my usual. Not so far ahead on this one.
  4. Not accidentally. All premeditated.
  5. From part 1: The Dunlops allowed Marie-Louise and her aunt and uncle to visit the boys once. Marie-Louise apologized for being such a bitch. The four never became friends, but George and Lionel accepted her apology.
  6. Thanks. Hope it stays great.
  7. True. But I promise, no more than a few more. I’m thinking three. The eastern seaboard cleanup will happen offstage.

    Me too!
  9. I hope I can satisfy.
  10. Yep, it happens. But what else happens to Marie-Louise? Surfboard? Yep. Priorities, dude.

  12. George Dunlop left the Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 with his father, step-mother Vanessa, step-sister Leah, and hopefully new brothers, Lionel and Lorenzo. George senior, Vanessa, and Leah would be on the return leg of a round-trip flight after visits to the three boys’ homes. The boys would have one-way tickets. He knew it might take them a couple days to accomplish all they needed to, so George senior booked an open-ended return. As a reminder, Georg
  13. The extended Dunlop family started to leave the hotel after lunch Sunday. The first stop would be Lorenzo’s home. The first problem with that was, Larry being only six, he wasn't sure of his address. "I know it's kind of a weird address, nine-ten Wilma Pike? Or something like that. There's an Exxon and a Wawa across the street from the house, and a church next to and kind of behind it. My dad was the pastor there." George Sr. prodded him some more, "Do you remember the name of the town
  14. This continuation of the story that began as “The Last Boys In Clinton” follows George, Lionel, and Lorenzo to Clinton, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville. It will also cover the futures of some of the other major characters from that story.

    Chapter 6

Joel is still uncomfortable. I’m not sure Colt is going to be as accommodating as some others think. I hope he doesn’t lash out at Joel when the adults aren’t around.

Interesting. And interesting name. Thet Ruth... Thetruth… The truth.
  21. Class reunions aren't necessarily a nightmare to me like @Gary L, but I did relate somewhat to the MC. Went to one reunion, was pretty boring, have no desire to go to another. But the story will probably bring back memories for anyone that reads is. So why are you still reading reviews? The story is so much better.

    Chapter 1

I went to one reunion. It was the 25th. It was probably 9 or 10 months after my first wife died. The mother-in-law came to watch the kids. It was held in a hotel. If there were 15 people there, it was a lot. Out of a class of 140. There were a few there I was friendly with, two I probably wouldn't have minded following back to their rooms (one of each gender if I'm being honest). I was a loner in high school. Most of my Facebook friends that I never interact with are from high school. But oddly enough, the highlight of the trip was my late wife's uncle staying at the hotel at the same time. That and sleeping nude above the blankets when housekeeping arrived. In 3 years, it'll be the 50th. I live over 800 miles away from my high school. I sincerely doubt I'll be going to a second. The story definitely brought back memories. I was the smart, quiet guy. Fortunately, my very large brother was there for my first two years, so I never got picked on, never had the pleasure of getting shoved into a locker. I'd made friends with football players, so I was safe my final two years as well. Probably helped them out with homework. I can't think of any other reason why they liked me. But I don't specifically remember doing so. I didn't have a Derek tormenting me. But I still have no desire to go back.

    Chapter 1

Unmasked: Subtitled, I had a crush on the wrong twin. Had me at steampunk cowboy too. But in a different way. I had to look it up. Damn, am I old. Good job SA.

    Chapter 1

Right. 1. Sitting in the carport. 2. Banged on the door. 3. Gestured Henry inside 4. Woke up on the couch 5. Karl sits down at the picnic table, but worried about Henry arriving the previous night. Seems Henry woke up on the couch and Karl went outside to talk to him. But if Henry woke up on the couch, why did Karl need to go outside? Anyway.

    Chapter 1

Vampires not my favorite fictional creature. Normally, I skip those, but like others have said, for events and anthologies, I make exceptions. And no. That isn't a red herring. I didn't write this and said that to make you all think I didn't.
