Lorcan Hubble had been waiting twelve years for his release from MCI-Norfolk, after having been wrongly convicted of armed robbery. Much of the blame for his wrongful conviction lay at the feet of Detective Gennaro Saggio. Lorcan was one of Saggio's first cases after being promoted to Detective in the Boston Police Department.
Lorcan has followed Saggio's career the entire time of his imprisonment. In the past two years, however, his mental acuity has been drifting away, along with his sani
Lorcan Hubble knew it would be nearly impossible to obtain a gun without any active contacts. His Glock 19 was confiscated when he was arrested for an armed robbery he did not commit. It was his brother and his own Glock 17 that were captured by the cameras at Commonwealth Bank. Lorcan insisted it was Lowell that performed the robbery, but Saggio would hear nothing of it.
So it was for that reason, Lorcan walked into Bass Pro Shops on October eleventh and bought himself a Browning Primal La
Another episode from the files of Detective Gennaro Saggio. Labor Day has come and gone with no crime perpetrated with the detective in mind. Mid-October, however, well, that is an entirely different story.
And thank you @astone2292 for allowing me to be part of this. I enjoy being part of all of the features present on this site. The anthologies, secret author, etc. The interaction between the authors and readers is one of the greatest things about this site and I'm glad I found it.
968,000+ and counting (971,271 with this morning's chapter). Working my way to 1 million. I probably won't make it before my 2-year anniversary, but surely shortly thereafter.
Thanks. As a matter of fact, I recently finished a draft of a chapter with one hell of a surprise. It’s another stand-alone piece to a series of mine. You’ll all have to wait a few more days for it. Needs a few more read throughs before I send it to my editor.
Fallout. Hmmm, what a novel idea. Let's just say there's an attempt at retribution. You'll have to wait until Sunday before you find out exactly what happens.
Would that make them a tritroglodyte?
Thanks. No, that would not be good for one's health. But she could probably lose five to ten ugly pounds via decapitation.
I haven't really noticed a drop in the quality, the stories are still very interesting. I'd say yes, they're still as good. Andrew was already a published author, so it's not like the reins are shared by some hack, like me. 😁
Yeah, I knew that. Hehe. Just wanted to give a shout out to one of the few authors who consistently add more chapters than I. And congrats on the promotion, once again.
