    That Saturday evening was the middle school’s ‘Say Goodbye to Summer’ dance. Granted, technically there were still roughly two weeks left of summer, but Labor Day has always been the unofficial end of summer. So, the following Saturday worked pretty well.     Yes. Both Brodie and Jeff caught a break, Brodie's in part due to his taking responsibility and not ghosting his friend. Hell, I'm almost 5 chapters ahead and I don't know who I'm going to focus on. Most of the characters already introduced play some part in the intervening chapters. I can tell you that chapter 16 is centered around someone you've all been looking forward to meeting. It's funny, the story started out being about Michael and Stephen, but they've been driven into the background quite a few times. There will be more happening with them though, I promise.

    You may be right. I do have more plans for Gavin. We'll have to wait and see what I do to him. True, I'm not seeing Jeff as violent, mostly clueless that some of the things he does are wrong. Riverside should be good for him. I need to consider more about Jeff. Thanks. Fortunately, I just took out the trash last night, so I have a whole lot of room for more.
