Colin had decided he'd had enough. Miles had been going on at him, again, for not coming over for the twins' birthday and saying how Colin needed to make sure he visited them to see the girls. The science fair was a local thing. A yearly occurrence, taking place during half-term, it happened in the Town Hall in Huntsford, but it was designed to show off the best of the science projects from schools across the region, so it was in fact, a 'big thing'. Getting the work on my new house started was taking rather longer than I had anticipated, but the new builder, Colin from Reliable Renovations, impressed in a number of ways. Ten Tons Of Fun is based on a London club for big guys that I sometimes visited in the 1990s, but the Weather Girls' might have played a role in the naming. Colin's mother is just manipulative and don't worry, he's going to develop. As for his exact size, I leave that to you, though Owain describes him a bit more in a subsequent chapter.
