  1. Read it and you'll fall in love with Otis... but not because he's handsome... This story is full of good and bad people, so bad you cannot imagine. But the best part is that Otis brings with him all the light of the world to clean all. Go! Go to meet him! Now! GoodReader

    Epilog

So... wasn't so easy to read some part of this story, but at last it was the right amount of evil with the help of Hudson and Otis. With Otis you create one of the most "outsider" character that I've ever read in a book. It would be fantastic if the hole world would be populate by human being like him. Please don't leave him only in this book... Thank you. Stefano

  11. Hi Hryjknyk! Is there a chance you'll continue this story? Very exciting (🦶)and very well written... 😇
  12. When a writer draws on their own experience in their stories, readers inevitably compare the story to their own life experiences. I believe Headstall, with this life story, wanted to offer food for thought to all his readers. In the struggle to understand and forgive, the two protagonists Chase and Hank lead us to explore life's hardest journeys: loss, hatred, fear, abandonment. But in the darkness of the deepest depression, Headstall shows us that courage, forgiveness, and understanding lie in the strength of true feelings. The power of rebirth lies in recognizing love when and where it exists. Reading "Endings" is good for the heart; it teaches us to forgive ourselves and those who love us. Don't miss it! Thanks again, Headstall.

  13. Well... I need some time to get all my emotion together. This story touched me deeply... Un abbraccio Gary.
  14. LARKSPUR LARKSPUR!!! What a surprise! Be a good reader and go find out what Larkspur is, and what it means. All Headstall's Western stories lead to Larkspur. Go find out why! Now!!! Thanks Gary! Another heartwarming story!
  15. Hi Gary. I just finished reading the last chapter and also read most of the comments. Many years have passed since the last chapter, and rereading it and thinking about it, I have the feeling that the story ends here. Moving into the new house symbolizes the end of a part of Michael and Kendall's lives that now belongs to the past. Each of us, after meeting all the characters in the story you so beautifully described, can write the continuation of the story in our own heads and insert parts of our own lives into it. Thank you for your work, for your always attentive writing, for your love for your characters, and for introducing us to a humanity we all hope to encounter every day of our lives. Stefano. PS: I hope my English is understandable enough. I'm in a hurry now, I've to find another Headstall's story to read... Bye!
  16. This is love... Perfect Gary, perfect...
  17. A harsh yet delicate story. Two lonely souls fight two different wars, but the pain is the same. A must-read. Now!

  18. I loved very much reading this, Gary. I appreciate the delicate way you had moving things between Blake and Ryan. This is a story about the discovery of feelings, how to manage them and how to grow with them. It may be in our memory or not but every one of us has had a start. Some difficult and some... So, GA readers! Go read the story and you'll understand... Thanks Gary Stefano

  19. Many times during reading I had the sensation to be there with the characters. Written perfectly, the story will tie you in this beautiful places that Headstall called Larkspur. It's a story about men and love, a very difficult love but always present and alive. The spiritual dimension is also interesting, along with the connection with earth and nature. Trees, animals, horses, food, people who need people. Go and read, it will be good for your heart. Thanks again Gary for your deep connection with human soul. Stefano
  20. A very good start for your new story Gary! It feels like home to start to read you again... I liked the Sheriff since he appeared in "Sidewinders".
  21. Quickly! Three good reasons to read "Sidewinders": FIRST it's very well written, SECOND the psycological development of the characters is absolutely real, THIRD the story is wonderful. So, what are you waiting for? GO TO READ! NOW!
  22. Perfect view, really perfect view... so much pain in the world because of this. Wars in the name of gods and people suffering... I COMPLETELY agree with you.
  23. Headstall stories are like cherries, you eat one and you can't stop! This is my second after Jubal and Lucas'story and I like very much the complexity of the relationship between Coy and Boone: these very strong men divided but together, distant but close are very intriguing... Let see...
  24. Not easy for me to read it: not my mother language (I'm italian...) but I really appreciated the story and the characters and the way you made them interact. The complexity of the historical moment, the way Lucas and Jubal have grown there relationship between all the scares they have. I loved also the time of the writing: slow, close to the feelings of the characters. The landscape of the story is also wonderful. The wild, horses, nature. Perfect story. Thank you for your writing Hugs and kisses Stefano
