    John

The training hall was so modern that he wished he had learned in one of those when he had been young. Large enough to have a small grandstand, but small enough not to make the group of two dozen boys look lost. Said boys ran around barefoot with light balls for playing to warm up, their tight shirts and leggings clearly showing on whom puberty was already taking hold. Unnoticed, John slipped into the grandstand at the very back, while slaves or female chaperones from the boys' various
  2. This story has as a big part of itself the peeling away of layer after layer from Remy and his past. The revelations concern also others, but since he's the main character... Ah, the truth... as is said in one of my favorite books: "In the darkness of not knowing are thriving fears and lies. The truth hurts, but at least it's a clean cut." I love this saying but Remy follows more "not telling the truth doesn't always mean lying". So. You judge the man. PS: next chapter is a throwback to his silence regarding Pierre/Jay. Just saying, so you can prepare mentally 😘
  3. With a sad smile, Remy looked at the bundle on his bed. Not that he cared all that much about his own bed, but he wished for the half-child hidden in that bundle that it had a bed of its own. And that it didn't have to hide like that. Jay was awake. His big eyes stared at Remy from the middle of the bundle. The way he sat there wrapped in the covers reminded Remy of a silly animated movie where a hatchling builds itself back into its egg right after it hatches, terrified of the world.
  4. Not sure I fully get your question... 🤔
  5. "My nipples are still red." "Don't be such a wimp." "The ten minutes from the package instructions would have been enough." "They wouldn't." "How would you know?" "First, never believe a package description, and second, Val uses stuff like that. Let's face it, would shaving have given you such wonderful baby-butt smooth skin?" "At least it would have saved me fiery red and aching nipples," Dante grumbled, glancing in the mirror- his nipples weren't that flaming red

    Phoenix

Some of them are fighting everyday, some have not much that's worth fighting for. At some point their fighting spirit is gone. Silver Eye is Marc's best friend Keith. We will hear more of him, meet him even. He got the gang-intern nickname after the incident, when the twinkle left his eyes and the grin his face. Cold hard silver. Like the blade of his knife. And we will meet Noemi here in Another Time, see Phoenix again. I'm sorry to cause you sorrow, but lighthearted pink-fluffed stories are not my style. I tried - and failed miserably.

    Phoenix

Each thrust from Harry pressed the edge of the massive wooden crate into Phoenix's stomach area, again and again, until Phoenix felt nausea rising within him. But he remained silent, except for an occasional gasp, because when your best customer was balls-deep in you, complaints were inappropriate. "Oh... all... you..." Harry grunted. "Yeah... yes... yeeeeeaaaaaah..." His voice became a low rumble, his thrusts erratic, and out of experience Phoenix held his breath as Harry came with one las
  8. @drsawzall @centexhairysub you two and that accident 😅 you want my whole plot to go down, won't you? Will it help when I promise Anduin will get in the end what he deserves? (No, not a 18-wheeler, a tad mor personal.) The girls/women dare to disagree 😅 We will see more of Jay and hear sooner or later his story. And Mistress Therese might seem a cool strict one, but she has a heart of gold 💛 Jay would make for an interesting addition in this mix of troubled slaves, that for sure. They are good for each other, they just need to trust each other, open up.
  9. The ringing of the alarm clock jolted Remy out of a disturbing dream. For a moment he was disoriented, for his own alarm clock beeped differently and the owner of the arm which was wrapped around him pulled it back with an unfamiliar unwilling groan. The alarm clock emitted an unhealthy-sounding yelp, as well as a faint bluish light. Remy turned around- and painfully bumped his forehead against a chin. "Dammit..." Marc moaned quietly, and Remy made a sound of agreement. "You okay?"
  10. I know. Now I thought about an "Another Time" chapter to bring some light into the political situation. Let's see how that goes...
  11. I agree on that. In a society like this, the mind is often enough the only place where men could be free, and even this place could get corrupted. But luckily Dante has a strong will. The topic will come up later again, because it needs some digesting on Alice's part (and maybe some ass-kicking). But either way, she's not the type to display her privat life and using Dante's surname as a shiny trophy is totally not her style, the opposite. I do agree though, that Dante has enough experience of socializing and people pleasing to know how to deal with the fans of Alice. As long as her publisher is not helping her more that just giving it a glance or two once in a while, he could provide some help. The Sapphires are known for not having sons, and it's rare for a slave to be allowed to keep his surname (education slaves left out). The upper class knows about him of course, he was forced to do some household-hopping in the past 10 years and more, but if this reaches his mothers ears... Well he will meet her one day in this story. Promise. Don't think he loves that now but he will grow into it. (That includes the whole situation surrounding his surname and origins.) We got only 84°F but directly at the sea, with the wind blowing in the humidity, it's already suffocating. I love hot chocolate, though I do have a 11o'clock coffee tradition inherited. And well, I guess I'll soon switch that to espresso over homemade vanilla ice-cream. A dream, I'll tell you. The part you quoted sure makes for some good drama, doesn't it? No no you got it right. There might be parts of this huge metropolis which scare Alice, would the anonymous freedom is appealing to her and she wants to enjoy it, away from the strict controlling mother. Just, as you pointed out right and as Dante hinted at already at home, she's not fully grasping the vast differences between north and south (which in the end where once two different countries with everything it entails). As a friend of her will say later on, she mentally lives too much in other forms of society to properly fit into the real one. Right as well. Alice is not a fan of slavery, she only accepts it as given since their society is fully build on it through their religion. If she would live in a different place of the world, where general slavery exists outside of religious boundaries, she would most likely fight against it. So, yes, since she sees Dante already as some sort of friend, not as some serving object, this completely different environment, without the family around, makes her act more like her true self. And Dante goes with it, because he's not made to be a slave. Unfortunately, free men have not many rights. I try to keep politics low in stories like this, and it will come up only here and there like in the topic of coming elections, but the situation for free men won't change to the better any time soon.
  12. Exploring Denser's Port as a tourist had its own unique appeal, Dante discovered as the day progressed. First of all, there was the experience of using public transportation- and seeing Mistress Alice first have to quell her quiet fear of the subway- then the growing realization that he actually knew very little about the city where he had spent almost his entire life beyond what was necessary in everyday life. "Listen..." Mistress Alice interrupted his thoughts as they stood by the marina
  13. Fighting siblings often say a lot of mean and nasty stuff to each other, especially as teenagers, but Archie's brother needs to learn urgently to watch his mouth. Absolutely. I mean, blowing them up is out of the question, but there is still much which could go wrong...
  14. Seventeen-year-old Archibald Widdlebough (poor boy, what a name) was perched with a thigh and half a buttock on a chair in the examination room when I entered. Bouncing nervously with his other foot, he looked up at me anxiously. Nurse Mike followed me, carrying the paperwork he had already prepared for the case. “Okay, Archie, Cursebreaker Percival can help you.” “Oh God, thank you.” The young man jumped up, but remained slightly bent over. “It really hurts like hell.” “I can
  15. On the last chapter, I wanted to comment on my wish to see more of Matt. And here we go. We saw less but what did we see?! A kiss! My goodness, I wasn't ready for that. ❤️
  16. He finally found a mistress who's treating him like a human, an indivudual, like he matters, and of course he will repay that with his behaviours and actions. Isn't that true... When just reading the main story it won't become apparant (or let's say only way later and sublte) that Matthew has more flaws than expected. But we will see where those two go or don't go...
  17. If it hadn't been for the car radio, Dante would probably have gone mad. First they had left the farm later than planned, then Mistress Alice had had him pull over so she could talk on the phone in peace for over an hour, and now they were finally out of the damn traffic jam they had been stuck in for almost two hours. He hummed along to the song from the radio and just hoped Mistress Alice's tense mood could take it. He was hungry, he had to pee, and he could clearly feel his concentration slip
  18. We will meet a new friend, suffer with Remy through some memories and some more angst and then it will get better
  19. Official confirmation: Danica Sapphire is the mother of Dante Sapphire-Mitchell. In Dante's story, we will hear soon more about his family. Remy tries to not care too much about the other slaves or girls, since they always stay only for a few years, but for most he does care. And you are even right that he doesn't want to show it too much, he's afraid it might be seen as weekness, as something the others (slaves or girls) could use against him. Yeah, this is going to be a long painful journey. (And Marc is the last one of my characters I expect to dance on a pride parade.)
  20. "Thank you, Remy." Mistress Ellen, standing in front of a still-white canvas, took the glass of smoothie from him and gave him a narrow smile before staring ahead again, brooding. Remy indicated a bow and turned away. He was still exceedingly relieved that the party had gone well and that his mistresses out of town had had a nice weekend as well, and he wished it would stay that way for a while. He had just closed the studio door behind him when he heard the doorbell and mere moments later
  21. For now my plans say that we will hear the truth only in the very end. Happy dance on my part Though I guess he'll lose those advance soon... Considering how some of those smell, I at least would say they come from the deepest of hells... Whether as a curse or whatever is a secondary question 😅
  22. Looking at the guy I have to say, a young version of him is how I envisioned a boy for part 5 of the series. But this could work as well, why not Maybe he'll tell you about them Happy to hear. Dust loves his uncles dearly and family in general is very important to him. If Kellen ever wants more than just some fun, he will have to deal with the full force if it. Well he spent 15 years at the CID, the military police, as one of their investigating agents. Should have learnt how to interrogate people there. (Reminds me on my crush on Tony DiNozzo from Navy CIS *sigh* as teenager...) Next chapter will show us...
  23. Kellen's soft whimpering woke me up. He trembled and his hand twitched, but when I gently shook him by the shoulder, he just gasped for air, rolled over and continued to sleep peacefully. It was just before one o'clock. The next time it was the creaking of the stairs that startled me. Kellen was swearing quietly. A glance at the clock told me it was just before half past two. I listened to the sounds, the toilet flushing, the renewed creaking, his footsteps on the carpet in front of the be

    Before you go…

🤣 Right you are. And it will get worse (it always does, doesn't it?). Your suspicion is a very valid one and let's hope he's the only one with bite marks in the end. Which, to be fair, is already impossible, seeing that Alice broke up with Valentine to stay and look after Frank... Nice catch on the detail 👍 It will come up again. 🧐 Now that's an interesting prospect 🤔

    Before you go…

We will spend the next 4,5 chapters with them in Denser's Port, there are one or two surprises waiting They will start to create a bond which will only deepen once Dante and Alice are back, cause happenings... 😶 Flynn was not the best of persons even before being bought by Britney, but she's tipping his predisposition in the worse direction. We will see, where thid ends... Thank you ❤️
