    Thank you everyone for all your reactions, comments and suggestions! As always, they are greatly appreciated! Levi is probably the most complicated character that I've ever written. I think there's a saying that goes something like, 'there's an enigma wrapped in a conundrum' isn't there (a twist on something Churchill once said perhaps?), anyhow I think it kind of fits our boy. Some of you think you know what is going to happen (tee hee hee), but let me assure you, there are some twists and turns in the road ahead ... so I hope you enjoy what is coming!!!     I think there is something similar here where you can get a restricted licensee at 16 (the same age you can get your Learners permit) but only IF you need it for work.

    @Summerabbacat back in "our day" it was 16 and 9 months for our "L's" and 17 for our "P's" ... and we only had to hold our "L's" fot (I think) a minimum 48 hours. A lot different to now ... "L's" at 16, "P's" at 17, and 100+ hours in your log book before you can go for your "P's". Don't tell anyone, but I've stuffed up here, as Levi has turned 16 in year 9 and not year 10! Ooops! If anyone asks, I better just tell them he started school a year late! 😋 MP
