  1. Sadly, the department store I was with closed down, only to recently have a fresh food grocery store open up in its place. I think they've filled all the positions advertised, but maybe something will spring up?
  2. Absolutely! I was gutted when I heard he had passed. Such a waste of talent. There is a series of photos of him and Will Wheaton, both in black t-shirts and jeans I think. They were quite the dynamic duo I felt, and those photos just cry out for some slash fiction ... but that is not a path I have ever ventured down.
  3. I'll keep trying for that elusive #1 spot. Only THEN will I know I've made it! 😅🤣
  4. Not sure if you've read this one elsewhere, so if you haven't, you had best brace yourself! Mike is essentially a good guy, but he does have his moments! lol
  5. This is what comes to mind when I hear about Private Idaho!
  6. Haha ... yup. But nearly grey now ... so does that still count?
  7. Haha! Obviously I'm only an amateur then!
  8. Oh ... please share! We might be able to make a new story out of everyone's experiences!
  9. I did! His name was Graham!
  10. Haha ... now that would be nice! And I've just published the first chapter of my next story, Stockroom Secrets. Maybe I can get to number one with that one?
  11. I was in my final two years of high school when I started working at the local branch of a major national Department store. It was great to be earning some cash each week, but I do have to admit that at times I found it difficult coping with work and school. Then there was also the issue of being a perpetually horny eighteen-year-old – needing to get my rocks off as often as I could – yet not knowing how other than jacking off five times a day. Let me tell you, that last year at school was
  12. Making the transition from school life to working life rarely comes easy. Throw into the mix a young man's raging hormones and it only becomes more complicated. For Grayson Porter that combination proves a dangerous combination, but from that comes the greatest adventure and the greatest love of his life: Rafael da Silva. The question is, can they survive long enough to enjoy it?
  13. Absolutely! 😀
  14. Thank you. And you are most welcome 🙂
  15. And the rest of them lived happily ever after . . . until . . .
  16. Thank you @Ivor Slipper. 🙂
  17. @centexhairysub thank you very much, and yes, there way be a few loose ends yet, but that's what sequels are for, right? 😀
  18. @Al Norris thank you for your comments, and I hear what you are saying about Andy and Red. As I've mentioned already, all will be revealed in A Good Place 🙂 And thank you everyone for all your feedback! It is greatly appreciated 🙂
  19. And thank you @Paladin for your comments and feedback. So glad you enjoyed the story ❤️
  20. Yes, Red is a bit of a sad case really (as will be revealed in the next story in the series) 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the story! Thanks Mark
  21. November 2003 - Matt - ‘What was that all about?’ we heard coming from behind us moments later, as we stood there watching Red walk away. We spun around to see Scott and Justin standing there, both looking somewhat concerned. ‘That arsehole just keeps popping up everywhere,’ I answered. ‘Now he reckons that they know who ratted on Thompson, so they . . . as in us . . . had better watch out.’ ‘I don’t like the sound of that,’ Scott replied. ‘It sounds like h
  22. November 2003 - Luke - When we left the house this morning I think we all felt that this would be a memorable day. Things were heating up around our little town, but I don’t think any of us had any real idea just how hot today, or the coming days, would get. I travelled into Macquarie Harbour with Tim and Guy, as I often did, while Matt headed into town to work in his own car. As I was leaving the house I stuck my head in the door of Aaron and Tony’s room to tell the
  23. Yeah, I have that same problem with the Powerball . . . gets very depressing after a while when I get my hopes up every time, only to have them smashed against the rocks and broken into a million pieces! Anyhow, it was Guy's car with the headlights (chapter 11) and Matt's car with the brake fluid (chapter 24). There sure are some assholes in this town! I hope they can clean the place up!
  24. Hmmm . . . interesting theory . . . but nah. You'll learn all about what happens with Nate and Lachy in due course, of course! And yes, Guy's car, then Matt's car . . . what can I say, but the town is filled with assholes . . . but there are good folks too, as you will also soon find out in the final few chapters! I do love that everyone is getting so invested in this story! It's probably the only story I ever received negative feedback on when first posted, and the was mostly due to the chopping and changing by having each chapter coming from a different person's POV, but you guys are seeing it exactly how it was intended to be seen, and I'm grateful for all your input! So, thank you! MP
  25. November 2003 - Tony - The house seemed so quiet after everyone had left this morning, leaving just Aaron and me there alone. It felt nice. It felt like for the first time in my life I was in a place where I was accepted for being just who I was, with no expectations on me other than to just be me. I can't explain how . . . what's the word . . . liberating, I think, that feels. I know that I probably didn't deserve to have been welcomed here, especially after the tro
