    ok, the BS about the knees bending backwards during shifting got mentioned again, and its just plain WRONG, a wolf's knees bend the same way as humans do, the backward-bending part of the leg is the HEEL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digitigrade

    another author explained it to me this way: gray is a color (american spelling), while grey is a colour (british spelling)

    me too - and while this story definitely is category: "worth waiting for", I'll admit to some impatience by now with its temporary hold nearing its anniversary
