  1. This chapter was so satisfying on so many levels. The manhunt continues! @CasualWanderer82 gave us a brilliant (and sexually charged) chapter. As usual, beginning my countdown for the next chapter!
  2. Another @CasualWanderer82cliffhanger. You are the master of mystery. So much learned in this chapter. Looking forward to the next chapter. I am so glad to be out of that cabin. Felt like I was suffocating!!

    Chapter 2

That was an amazing chapter. So tender and erotic and filled with love and unspoken desire. I loved it. Looking forward to the next episode.
  4. Wow! Nate finds out Ryan is 18 and takes his virginity that night. I thought Nate was attracted to Ryan the night they met, so he's been sniffing around for while now. There's still a mystery about what help Nate needs from Ryan with Caleb at the cabin. It's easy to understand Ryan's part in all this, although he remains the angry, bitter, sarcastic teenager we've been seeing. My feelings toward him did shift in this chapter. Ryan is a victim of a slick predatory stepfather. Can't wait to see what comes next.

    Chapter 6

Loved the way Neil stood up (literally) and faced Lucas. I wish that someone had joined him--when is Owen going to stand by his friend! This chapter made me consider how the schools (well, some of them) approach bullying. In my days it was see no evil, speak no evil, and by golly don't do anything about the evil. This school attempts justice by giving the same punishment to the bully and his victim. That is not justice when the innocent are punished along with their bully. They never once inquired about the origins of Neil's outburst; they never asked him what Lucas had done. In deciding to punish them both and not hear Neil's story, the school hides behind the illusion of justice (well, they both were guilty!) and avoids inquiry and a justly rendered decision. I hope justice is finally rendered for this awful school administration. Thanks for providing us with a story that provokes our feelings of concern and outrage.
  6. I have been looking for the next chapter for two days. Now that I've read it, I am more hopeful for Caleb who grew in strength to confront things in the open, more empathetic towards Nate (who still confuses me), and maybe I am supposed to feel some sadness for Ryan, but I don't. I was initially glad when Nate attacked Ryan who has been cruel to Caleb, more than Nate knows. However, Ryan did drop a perhaps significant clue when he said this whole trip had been planned to toughen Caleb up. So, CasualWanderer leaves me both enlightened and confused. Meaning I will start search for the next chapter after I reread this one.
  7. Shout out to silverdaddies. I don't have too much success searching for profiles by name. Mainly just wanted to tell you what a warm and sexy chapter you had written. Geoff really came to life here. Thank you for this fine story!

    "He Knows"

Now I wonder why Nate needed to rub Caleb's nose in his brutal sexuality taking Ryan over and over again in front of him, And Ryan is a jealous, conniving monster filled with cruelty. Of course, Casual being a master at misdirection, I could be wrong.. Nate is not going to get Father of the Year. I hope Caleb finds someone worthy of his love and is able to escape this nightmare, distancing himself from both Ryan and Nate. But I have learned not to create expectations of Casual's work. He is a master of surprises. Is it okay to say I loved this chapter and loathed it at the same time?
  9. Another wild and crazy ride from Casual Wanderer. Trying to be patient for the next chapter.

    "Promotion"

Wow just wow. Bishop and his new prince were amazing together. Go Rook! I hope you got what you wanted.
  11. Sitting on the edge of my bed. The suspense is killing me. Can't wait for your next chapter.

    "Saudade"

What a wonderful twist to find that the love story here was between Ledger and Marcus. I was so moved by Ledger's protectiveness that I actually felt for him. There are further mysteries to unwind. Brandon and the necklace, for example, may not be what it seems like. I am looking forward to reading more. Am I the only one who feels that Tom deserved a lot worse than he received. He takes with him all explanations of why he did what he did (why he had rough sex with Brandon and killed Marcus so brutally). I wish Nicholas had not been so clueless about Tom's depravity or so passive about the black SUV and what he witnessed. I suspected Tom from the beginning. Casualwanderer, you have given us some sick characters, and Tom is up there with the savages from Wicked Games.

    "En Prise"

Perfection. Rook's development in this chapter moved me tremendously. His struggle through the dark woods is like his struggle through his feelings for and memories of his father. King is not so distant in this chapter, and that's a good thing. Thank you, casualwanderer, for gracing us with such outstanding stories with unforgettable characters.
