The story has moved a good distance from bed linens. Is it wrong to wish instead for decorating drama? Here’s hoping Oliver finds the support he needs with Noah’s grandparents while his longer term future is determined.

Fortunately, I have the Kleenex handy. Based on comments elsewhere I knew it was coming eventually. 💔

I glanced at the sleeping William. There couldn’t be any problems. hehehe An enjoyable read, only lacking the startling baby boy pee geyser during a change. Something fun for the following Tuesday!

“Yes let’s do it.” Fun look into their lives, work. Loved it. Babies are challenging, but somewhat easier before they start crawling. I can’t imagine trying to write code and care for an infant though. That’s some challenging context switching!

Indeed. Unfortunately, is sounds as though the creep was a long-time, serial abuser so there are sadly others who will hopefully to willing to back up Andre’s report. I am confident that Chris and Andre’s author has their best interests in mind, but if I get to chapter 30 without resolution, I’ll send Andre Roger’s number. Chris could compare notes with Brendon as well. I wish these events and their impact felt more like fiction, but they don’t. Thanks for sharing this story. I am excited to find out what will happen. No spoilers people! I WILL turn off notifications if I have to.

I, like many Americans, am terrified by the large and fangy things your country boasts. 😄 Then of course there is this guy. "Pick on someone your own size."

A tough chapter made lighter only by references in the comments to the "bedlinen affair." Keep talking Andre. Chris is committed, which disproves many of the lies holding Andre back. I'm all for giant investigations to hunt down the people hurting kids, but in the end it's all about helping broken people become whole once more. Tough stuff delicately handled @Paladin. As for Andre's abuser, I've watched enough Animal Planet to know Chris has plenty of terrifying and deadly creatures in an outback near him... I find myself imagining all kinds of creative Australian justice. 🐍🕷️ 🐊 🦘

Late to the party, as it were. I missed the show. 😄 Excited to see what happens next.

This…. But I had to read this "so we can celebrate that we all know that all know."

No time for Tim Tams…. On to chapter 2.

I have it open on my tablet. I read the pre-cursor, but then I got distracted. It’s next after @JJQuinn’s story about Sam and Ben.
-
I am still making my way through @Paladin’s work and have yet to meet these delightful sounding people.

The word count of the past few chapters have ballooned a bit as so many characters and events need to be explored and described. Thanks for sticking with the story as the writing and editing times have also increased. I love reading the comments and seeing the reactions. I’m always interested to see what stands out and what goes unnoticed, what is telegraphed a little too obviously and what is possible confusing or too subtle. As always, thank you for reading and responding! I’m off to peruse my plot catalog so I can outline and draft the next chapter.

Roland looked at his brother Miles. The ten-year-old was tossing and turning, but at least he had finally fallen sleep. Their lives had been one messed up moment after another since their parents had died the year before. He couldn’t help but feel guilty, knowing that their current nightmare was entirely his fault. It had been his idea to run away together, and Vegas had seemed like a place they could survive without freezing to death in the winter. The fact that the city was full of touris

Unfortunately I'm doing just that with yours instead of editing chapter 25. Lol

We're getting closer every week. You won't have to wait too long... I hope. 😄

I'm enjoying your story immensely even though I should be writing instead. 😉 I love the depth you are sharing as your characters navigate their passion and pain. As a closeted/confused kid with a strong sense of responsibility and a pastor for a dad, I wish I would have met someone like Ben as a teenager. Thanks for this chapter. Religious abuse, even when unintentional can be devastating. I'm still trying to figure out what I believe after similarly allowing myself to admit God and the Church are not the same thing. I am interested to see where Sam and Ben go together.

Like Qian, I hope that something I say is helpful, my friend. ❤️

As a father and as someone who grew up in the church, the White story line has been one of the more personally challenging to write (along with Sandra and Brendon. Alan Mack is dead to me ; ). The reuniting of families is something I wish I could just mention in passing because it is hard to think about what that would be like, but it is happening. Travis, Jennifer, and Jasper will see Oliver - hopefully in the next chapter, but I thought that two chapters ago. I’m anxious to see how it goes. I’ll be sure to tell you about it.

“It’s been quite the week.” Roger looked up to find Mike Schultz and Chris O’Malley walking towards him; the DA’s understated declaration made Roger laugh as he allowed the tension he felt to dissipate. The gym was emptying quickly as almost everyone in attendance chose to follow Thomas and Brendon around the old building hoping to hear the teenagers talk in detail about what they envisioned for the space. “You three make quite a team,” the judge said seriously. “I can’t believe what

I liked this short a lot. I liked how you used the merging of the playlist and music to illustrate Liem and Jason coming together rather than just cumming together. Favorite quote: It wasn’t unpleasant. In fact it felt good. Dick hardeningly good.

A happily ever after... For now. ♥️ More housework, then I can dig in to book two!

I'm having to look up places too! I had no idea what a Woy Woy house was! Now I do. 😀 Here's hoping for a smooth wedding in the morning!

My turn to Google all the Aussie terms. 😉 Interested to see where this all goes.
