This is my point! I was not in the running for the award. Therefore, I do not use evil cliffhangers. The poll was to be about me but in another forum.
That is not a nice way to settle the dispute.
I've been painted into a corner. I have never said that I don't use cliffhangers. For the record, I still say that CJ, Shadowgod, and Jack Scribe are the masters of evil cliffhangers. I say that we settle this question with a poll in another forum. I have no idea which one would be appropriate, but it is not this one.
Speaking of evil cliffhangers, I wonder if the king has another planned soon. I am sure that he does.
I chose HIV & AIDS, snakes, and identity theft. Those are probably my biggest fears of all. I know they are are irration too. I think I could possibly get over the snakes, but the other two are different story.
They always say, "better late than never." Anyway, I happen to like the term "Herd of Capricans". Anyway, I believe they do hang out on cliffs, especially when the name is Eric or Steve.
If that were true, nobody would read them. There is plenty of darkness and strife in your stories, and that's why you have such an extensive fan base. As for Shadowgod's new title, I like it. It's quite fitting, just like mine.
It's not like a cliff was involved. Eric knew what was going on. He was hitting on J/S, and there was no effect whatsoever. He had been drinking, but he was not completely blasted.
Chapter 11 of Dark Earth: The Prophecy is coming soon. I have decided on a Saturday night upload. As for Chapters 12-15 and beyond, that will not be until after I finish my anthology over the weekend. I shall not reveal the title at this time. I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to. I have not worked on Second Chances for a while. However, I intend to focus on Second Chances as well as a new series of short stories called "Who We Are" after I finish the first volume of Dark Earth. There is also a revealing short-story spin-off of Dark Earth in the works. There are a few other ideas swirling in my head, but they will have to wait.
