I happen to agree with the reviewer. Rory did annoy the shit out of me sometimes. He was so clueless, more stubborn than I am (and that's pretty effing bad), and treated other characters like shit. It did make it hard for me to have a good rapport with the protagonist at the beginning. Then again, I wrote a story in which the protagonist was a psychopath, so I guess all protagonists have to have some flaws at least.

When I was in junior high, a really awesome album came out. It was called Crazy Sexy Cool by none other than TLC. TLC, for the few who don't know, was an R&B group from Altanta, Georgia featuring Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The band produced some great hits from Crazy Sexy Cool, including "Red Light Special" and "Waterfalls". As far as I know, Crazy Sexy Cool is their biggest album ever, and it was their sophomore album. It's also the one that introduced me to the band, and I've been a fan ever since. Unfortunately, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez died back in 2002 in a car accident in La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras. While there was one postthumous album called 3D, and it had a couple of good songs, "Girls Talk" and "Damaged". While it's my understanding that T-Boz and Chilli intend to produce new material, it won't be the same without their talented rapper, Left Eye. She has left a void in the music world that can never be filled, and it still makes me sad that such a great voice is gone from this world even if it is almost 10 years later.

Sesshomaru from InuYasha, for example, isn't evil, though he does act as an antagonist at the beginning of the manga/anime. In my story, The Sorcerous Prince, there is a group of demons that aren't necessarily evil, though most of the demons are evil incarnate.
