I'm out to my parents, siblings, and friends. It was difficult but thankfully I never came out to a homophobic person... yet. Anyway, I was masculine and plays sports, so no one suspected that im gay till girls starts to asking me out, I told them no, I'm gay. Most people had a typical quote, "Wow... for a long time, I thought you're straight" and my classical reply is, "I know... I should win a Oscar for this" lol. It was difficult because I played cricket too, so I won't disclose my sexuality for the fear of being kicked out of the team anyway. (A team that is in Alexandria region, away from my University)

I'll change it to "a story with a minimum of one chapter or more". Thanks Graeme for the suggestion.

The rules: 1) Must contain a deaf gay character as the main character or a supporting role 2) The contest will start March 28th and end April 28th 3) I'll be the head judge. If anyone's interested to be a judge, contact me and I'll update the rules 4) Must be a story with a minimum of 1 chapter or more. 5) If wanted, you can post the story in GA Stories and post the link here in the thread. I'll think about adding more rules later (I'm very flexible)

Hey, I'm sorry to bother the writer's corner, but I thought up a idea, and I asked my chatmates (Bumblebee and Quonus10) and they agreed with me, so... here it is: I want to do a unsanctioned contest where I would like to see who writes the best story. Here's the catch... I'm deaf, so you must include a deaf gay character in the story. So basically it's just a writing contest for the best story with a deaf gay character as a supporting role. It won't hurt to try because I noticed in the history of GA before, there's no stories written with deaf gay characters in it. So why not break down the barrier? John

Being forced by Andy (Quonus10), here's the place where I lived in Washington, DC. Also, Gallaudet University near Orleans Place (and the neighborhood Trinidad, the worst place where you can get shot down easily) where the famed drug lord Rayful Edmonds III did his trade till the conviction.

I think it's an inspiration because I played cricket in college right now (every Friday) with a group of people but I can't bring myself to say to them that I'm gay. I think he helped break the barrier for us.

Hey everyone, I'm back at GA... Wow, it's been so long here and I actually counted how many years i'm in and out here at GA and since I entered the GA on January 2007, now it's February 2011. Wow... it's been a long time to last that and still be here without being deleted or kicked out So here's my summary about me during the absence: I'm 20 (soon to be 21 in June), I'm a junior at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC; majoring in history. I'm also back, this time single. I and a member here at GA (I won't mention it) decided to do a mutual break-up and stay best friends. I'm actively planning to go to Montreal during Spring Break 2011! It will be my first time to meet a GA member other than my friend Robbie. I know... it's been four years and i haven't met more members than just one. I'm very excited! Also... I'm curious to see if anyone I know and talk to during the four years is still here? Hello anyone, I'm back from a semester in Gallaudet University (in Washington, DC) so I wondered who is a current student of a college/university in Washington, DC? Just wondering because maybe in the fall, I can meet for lunch or hanging out!

Count me out, I can't afford to go to Las Vegas anyway but I plans to go to Montreal to meet up with Jack Frost for a weekend during my Spring Break (and spend the rest of the Break with Robbie! ) so perhaps northeast informal get-together in great white north, Canada?

I'm a top but slowly gradually transitioning to be a bottom (expected it to be happening in 2012! ), but I don't think it's a issue in relationship because no matter what happens, only important things in relationship is honesty, trust, and endless love. That's my opinion but I may be wrong
