*sips tea for throat* What happened during November? Well. I wrote a lot.
Okay so let's break it down. I was keeping pretty good on keeping on track with the base amount of words. I did a lot of small things to get started and I continued a few older things that I've been wanting to play with.
    A list:
A Santa Needs a Mate story - 31 chapters in length. I'll post it when I'm done with it.
Obscurity: A Morally Grey Harry Potter story. I need to reread the first 20 chapters to take notes and fill out information but I'm working on it.
Never a Spare: A What If Harry Potter story. I did some filler chapters for the first arc of this story.
A Naruto Time Travel fic. No idea where I'm going with this.
Another Naruto fanfic. I know where I'm going with this one.
Yep, I focused on a lot of fanfiction. I've been rewriting Bad Dog, which is a Comedy-Horror fiction that is book 1 in a series. I had issues with it, but now I'm doing better with it so I kind of haven't been focusing on the fanfic the way my mind wants me to. Fanfiction is a happy place for me mentally since I don't have to build a world for my characters.
So outside of the writing, what happened?
I was sick for most of the month. It was come and go for the cold but it was there. The first week was all about the shopping for things. That was fun. Really.
The second week was foggy and I spent most of it wording very slowly with one or two days of good words.
Week 3 was wonderful and I hit my word count hard and fast. The last week was all about thanksgiving prep and relaxing. I did enjoy my day of turkey though. It was delicious and relaxing.
I am now hopefully able to get away from real life and spend some time on playing catch up with some stories and other people. ❤️ Hugs and loves all of you!
Also, yes, I won! I hit 50K on the 27th between making bread and skinning yams.

    What to say.
    What...to...say.
First of all, it's the 7th. I'm tired. So very tired. I've been either in a lot of pain (knees were grapefruit sized they were so swollen) and I've been doing Nano!
So how about I break it down?
Week 1 of National Novel Writing Month:
Week 1 has been interesting to say the least. On the 3ed, our friend's van died. She had to get a jump to start it up and we couldn't let it shut off (which made getting around a bit interesting), but I got some words that day. Then yesterday was shopping for my household.
I got...no words. I was just so tired and my head hurt and...the cold had hit me hard.
Like very hard. I'm recovering but right now I have this lovely thing called a temp so it's not happy making.
Anyways, I'm sitting at over 11K right now, so I'm not hurting to badly.
    Current Works:
What am I writing? 3 fanfics and 2 different originals. My 2 originals are named Santa Needs a Mate (which is straight up romance) and Stalkmas (which is just what it sounds like). I'm already on chapter 5 of my Santa needs a mate and I'm mostly focusing on it for the moment. I'll be doing my others that it'll take a while to get it done and out. I hope that people like it, that's for sure.
I'll also probably need someone who can edit things for me. We'll see how it goes down.
    Other stuff:
Like I said, cold hit me hard. I've been okayish for most of this week but the last two shopping trips have just worn me down so I'm resting and relaxing mostly. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have gotten past this cold in full and I'll have a lot of words to rewrite and edit!

So...a quick update while I take a break from editing and creating this Hellsing Ultimate Word Crawl...
If you've noticed, on your end, The Roads That We Explore is sitting at chapter 4. Why? Well....Mostly because I'm holding onto the rest while I finish off their edits. I'm setting them up to post from October 25th at 3PM to October 31st at 3PM. I just set up story 7 and will be editing story 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the coming days.
Next story to be worried about will be my holiday stories. I have 2 stories. One will be posted for the Month of Christmas. December 1st until December 31st. At, as usual, 3PM. That means I'll be writing it, rewriting it, and editing it in November. I'm going to try starting it this month but I have a few other things I need to finish. Seriously. Need to. And this word crawl is just one of them.
Anyone want to edit my fluff for me? I'll probably ask in the Writers Club soon but still. Okay.
To tell you about the crawl: It is Hellsing Ultimate anime themed word crawl and it is going to be long. It's all episode base, and each episode is an hour long.
The crawl will take a while to get done since I have timed attacks, timed word attacks, Hydras (if you don't know what that is, look up 50 Headed Hydra in the Nano Forums and shudder in horror. I've done those. They scare me.), D6 rolls of various kinds and various other word goals.
I'm going to make people cry. It'll be fun. For me.
And yes, I'll be doing it myself. I'm going to run it while I'm on Year of the Novel discord (invite is available but be warned: we're not exactly the sanest group of people) and I'll be running word wars on there to. It'll be fun.
Now, I need to go prepare for episode 2 and getting things ready for November. *groans*

I was going to do a long thing about how I have changed my writing process in the 7 years that I was gone from the website. I even had that post started and named, but then I decided to change it up.
I'm still going to talk about my writing process but now I'm going to just do it in a concise and point by point way. At least I hope it turns out concise.
Getting that idea This is where the whole thing starts. Before this was the only step before I started writing on the story. But now, this is not the case. After I get the idea and write it down, I... Research/Plot the Idea I take my time to research and plot the idea. I usually start a story after I have the major plot points that I need to hit for the story continuation. As long as I have those major plot points, I'm pretty good in filling in the smaller details to support  those plot points.  Outline if I have enough to do so Yep. I outline. Or at least I outline up to the first 10 to 30 chapters of the story. It helps me keep on track. I tend not to outline beyond that point, just noting down the points I need to hit. this is so that I can fiddle with it a lot easier if I need to change something or add in some information.  Start the story Yep. Once I have those first few chapters planned out, I start to write. I take my time, really get into the meat of the story. I start where I think it will work best to build up to the story itself. Once Upon a Time I would just start right in the action but some of my plots aren't meant for that. There has to be some kind of build up to the action and now I just tend to start it where I need to.  Rewrite the story Most often then not, I actually wait until I finish writing the story to let it sit for a while (anywhere from a week to a month depending on how long it took me to write the story the first time). This actually comes in parts: Read the story. Take notes on what to add. Add the parts that need to be added if they're chapter sized. Actually crack down and rewrite the story start to finish. As you can see I do it three parts. A normal 100K story (which yes my stories can take up to that) can take me up to a month of working on if I focus just on it.  Longer if I don't focus solely on it.  Edit the story Now comes the fun part. Editing. I'll let it sit for another month, play with other worlds. Then I edit and fix little things. Send the edited story to the Beta's and Alpha readers. This is indeed the time that I send the story to my alpha readers (if I have them), and the Beta readers. Usually by this time I've seen what I have needed to fix and have fixed it. If they see something majorly glaring, I will fix it, do the usual to that part and send it off again to the beta readers. Most often then not i don't have to do this. Post the story after a good hard edit post-beta After I get the story back from the beta, I edit. Again. I usually run through it twice with a week between the two edits. It works for me. So thank you for coming to read on how I write my stories now. Does it take me time? Yes. Is it worth it though? So. Very. Much.

I decided to go into a deeper look as to what I'm doing for the next little while and what each story comes from and when it should be on the schedule.
    For the rest of August:
    1) I am going to post my Drabble a Day (Prompt Me, Prompt Me Week 1 will come out sometime tomorrow. Week 2 shall come out on the 2nd of September. Thus I need to edit and post it up in the next few days to get that pre-scheduled. Each week will be scheduled for a Monday so I don't have to worry about it.
    2) Snowfall, Fires, and Family chapter 4 is in moderation. You can find the story here. I have 5 more chapters yet to post so I'm going to post a chapter a day as long as I remember to.
    For September:
    1) I am going to work on posting my various stories that you can see down below with some information on how long it is. But I do have to set up my schedule around my weekly drabble posting so that's going to be fun. Really.
    2) I am also going to start working on rewriting a longer romance story. I'm somewhere around chapter 8 out of something. Not sure since it's been a while.
    For October:
Expect me to might blog on PrepTober since I have no idea what I'm going to write. Fanfiction or Originals, no idea. *shrugs*
    For November:
NaNoWriMo. Yep. That's it. That insanity. Year 11.
List of stories to be posted over the next few months:
Dancing Shadows: a Retail and Supernatural side story. Single chapter. 2017 Halloween Story
Gathering Memories: A untitled series side story. Single chapter. 2017 Halloween Story
Mirror Mirror: A short story of about a mirror and a haunting. 8 Chapters. 2017 Halloween Story
Morgue Hauntings: A single story that might be connected to a yet unnamed modern paranormal/supernatural fantasy story. 1 chapter. 2017 Halloween Story
Memories Chains: A single story about a doll and a man who has to play One-Man Hide and Seek with it. 5 part story. 2017 Halloween Story
Remember the Pasts Demons: A short story that I was able to write about a house with a nasty history. Heed the warnings when I get to posting that story. 2018 Halloween Story
A Christmas Letter: A short story that is somewhat connected to Retail and Supernatural series. Single chapter. 2018 Christmas story and the only one I could get done. (Last year was busy.)
I hope to see your reactions to the stories as I play catch up and post things! And I hope to have brand new things for you all coming up for you guys.

Okay, so. I mentioned this in the CoTT 2 forum but I am doing a 365 Day Prompt a Day thing.
How does it work and why do I do this to myself?
I've actually done this before. I did it for fanfiction and did 365 short pieces for various fandoms. This time I'm just doing this with my original writing. I will be posting it. Not right now. Probably starting next month I will post the week worth of works. I'll get into details on it.
    As for how it works?
Well, I have lists. And I will discuss what goes down with each list. I have a list of Horror to Romance/Romance to Horror, 2 lists of "3 Nouns", 2 lists of "Dialogue" and a single list of word prompts.
The "3 Nouns" list is just as it says. It has 3 words that you have to work into the story. Dialogue is just prompts of dialogue that you have to work into it. The Horror to Romance/Romance to Horror is me taking one word and using it in two different ways. Same way, different POV's. Those will be fun.
Now, let's see. I have 78 Horror to Romance prompts, 50 dialogues, 99 "3 nouns" and a 139 single word prompts.
Each list has a letter assigned to it (A to F), and each prompt has a number under that letter (A1, B1, C1, ect). I have all of those on little bits of paper and in a bag. I plan on doing this again so I'll be using these scraps of paper again eventually. Every day I will riffle through them and write whatever I pull out. I'm looking forward to this.
If I miss a day, I write it the next day, but it kind of makes my brain work and forces me to write something every day. Even if it's only like a few hundred words in size.
    So, break down.
    1) Make a list of prompts. 365 worth of them. (I have a couple extra just in case).
    2) Have a way to randomly choose the prompt each day.
    3) Write something each day. If you miss a day (or just write on the weekends) play catch up along with the day's prompt.
    4) Let them sit at least a week before you edit it, sent it to the beta/editor/whatever, do the rest of your editing process, then post.
    5) Hopefully get reviews.
Now, I'm going to start it. When I post it, I will probably format it so that before each prompt, it will have the date for the prompt, the prompt itself, and any warnings that I may have. It'll most likely look like this:
    8/11/2019
    Prompt: Skin
    Warnings: Gore, blood
I hope to have a good time with this and not get to behind on the story.  Wish me luck? *goes to start*

What does one do when she is unable to sleep because Insomnia and Midnight Zoomies via ESA cats?
Why come on this lovely site and update you guys as to what is going to go down with my stories and what you can expect in the future! That's what.
A little history: I lost everything that I was writing, editing and posting at the time (mostly fanfiction but also every single original WIP that I had) about 4 years ago. My flashdrive reformatted. Twice. I was lucky in the way that I was able to get a good chunk of information back and that I use GDocs at the time. I was very lucky in a couple cases that my beta (who I still have, she is wonderful) had some of my stories still in her own inbox.
But I still lost soooo much. Such as the full file of A Butterfly's Dream and Crimson Shadows. Lucky for me, I had already posted every chapter that I had written was readily available on Y!Gallery (before some jerk destroyed it, it is now being rebuilt). This includes most of my stories.
What it does not include is the rest of the story that I was co-writing with the lovely Morena Darkling. They passed a while ago. They are...gone. And I don't have the rest of our story. And I couldn't even look at it right now to post because it still hurts. Even after all of these years. If you look at it on my page right now, you will notice a new note on the summary that states that they are gone and that the current status is Author Deceased.
    It still hurts.
Okay, not that is over with. Let me go through the stories that are on hold right now and what is going down with them. One story at a time. This might get a little long.
Bits and Pieces: I'm actually going back and tweaking a few things in all of the Bits and Pieces. There was some fuss with another site when they had to transfer from one server to another so my files are currently messy with symbols, so I figured I'd might as well do some light shining of the stories. This does include these. Now that I remember that I have them...
Fangs and Claws: Another story that I was working on with my lovely Kev (known as sweetseme at one time), but has since been lost. Enjoy what is here.
Crimson Shadows: I did finish this story! But, I am also rewriting this story in full. Why am I rewriting this? Because when I wrote it, I tried to write two books into one.
That didn't work so now I'm expanding on it. Crimson Shadows in the future will cover chapters 1 to 7, but more fleshed out. The squeal will be Dripping Roses and cover chapters 8 to 21 and expanded into it's own story.
A Conversation with My Muse: Yeah, remember when I said I lost my files? I meant it. I don't have this at all. In any form fashion or way.
A Butterfly's Dream: I...kind of got blocked on where I wanted to go with this story. It started to take a turn that the original chapters just didn't fit. So I'm going to scrap it and restart the entire series.
I will be posting the chapters that I did get done, once I do some light sprucing up on them. But it's not my main focus right now.
Now, for the stories that are my main focus.
Books and Roses: This story was a request from my beta a while ago. About four years ago. I am in the process of expanding and rewriting the entire thing. This is going to take time but I hope to have it done before December. I hope. Genre: Romance
11 Paranormal/Supernatural/Spooky/Dark/Ect stories for the Month of Halloween: This is just as it says on the tin guys. It's 11 stories that I will be posting during the month of October. I am currently rewriting and editing story 7 and each one will have their own warnings at the time. In nice bright Bold even. Each story is set in a story world and were me getting to know my worlds even more. Genre: Horror/Supernatural/Paranormal
Bad Dog: Currently the original first chapters are being rewritten and expanded out, the details spread a bit more. There was an info dumping situation that wouldn't let me move forward on it but I'm fixing that now and figuring out more chapters. This is the first story in a series so I'm hoping it's well received when I post it. Genre: Comedy-horror
All You Need: This kind of a futuristic romance fic. Originally 5 chapters but I'm pretty much rewriting it from scratch to build the world and the romance in a proper way. Not high on my list right now but something I poke at randomly.
Random Horror Romance: This is pretty much me flipping a bird during the CockyGate thing that happened hard in Romanciland. It was not pretty let's just say that. But one of my favorite authors (who I found because of this) wrote a story called His Cocky Valet (now with sequel called His Cocky Cellist) as a middle finger wishfulfilment story. I love it and I love his seriously long series (We're talking episodic kind of story, and we just got done with season one). His name is Cold McCade and I love his stuff. But this was me doing it because he told me I should.
    So I am.
I think that is all for the moment, so please be on the look out for new stories (most of which are from the last couple of years for the moment).
If you have questions or comments, feel free to DM me or just comment below. I'll answer when I see it.

    Seven. Years.
Has it really been that long? Yes, yes it has. It has been that long. When I last popped up, I was 28 years. It has been an insane, intense 7 years.
My mother started having physical issues in 2002. Mid-2003, she found out what she was having issues with and we started to work on getting her disability. 2003, she had surgery 3 different times, the second time rather minor and just to make sure things were fine with the first surgery.
In the last seven years, life has gotten better in some ways and so not good in others.
My mother was in an accident just over a year ago. She's doing better but she now has more issues than before. I have become her full time caretaker, which means I do have a lot of time whenever she doesn't need me.
I am now dating a lovely woman for over 2 years (about 2 and a half years) now. We co-own a mutt called Westerfield, and a MinPin/Chihuahua mix named Princess, and a cat named Muse. She doesn't live with me or mother currently due to issues, but we still see each other every week and talk nearly daily.
Me and my mother both have ESA cats. Mine is named Artemis, and my mother's is Artemis' baby sister, Miracle. And they were born from Muse and my girl's roommate's male cat, Loki.
I am mentally meh. Going back to therapy and hopefully getting back into the communities that I have missed because of the insanity of the last 7 years.
I am writing and will be posting things once I figure out all of the things that have changed in the years since I've been here.
It is good to be back and I hope life is good for you all.
Still trying to figure out if I can somehow change my display name. I don't use that name now and I don't want to have to create a new account...

What have I been up to?

    Let me list it off.

Drabble A Day: I started a fanfiction Drabble a Day on my birthday, March 26. I'm into Week 3 now and on drabble 17, which I'll write tomorrow. I nearly have enough pairings to last me the year.
National Novel Writing Month: I won 2011 NaNoWriMo, again. I wrote a fanfiction called 'Like a Bullet' and it is a fanfiction since all of my original ideas at the time were in production. I'm currently finishing off typing it and editing chapter 9. There's something like 20 to 30 very long chapters for this one.
A Butterfly's Dream: I am still indeed editing this story but it is slow going since I'm not sure how I want to end it just yet. I'm also working on A Butterfly's Dance (prequel) and A Butterfly's Flight (sequel). MTPictures, my friend who owns one of the characters I do use in my stories, is working on The Demons Toy 2.
Crimson Shadows: Finished and posted at 21 chapters. That was fun.
Crimson Shadows sequel: I know I'm planning on calling it "Merry Frickin' Christmas" (being nice enough to change that middle word there) and have an idea of what to write.
Midnights Taste: This story spawned from the bunny that spawned Like a Bullet. I have about 2 chapters written, the prologue complete, somewhat. It's going to take time for this one to come out since I have some major ideas for it and I want it to read a certain way. Unfortunately, psychological horror is a new world for me. Hack and slash, paranormal...not so much. Psychological horror yes.
Essays for my Muse 1: I have started to post this series here. The first chapter will be posted this coming Friday and then for four fridays after, the other four chapters I have edited will post. Got to love that nifty little feature.
Essays for my Muse 2: Killers and Murders: I am already planning out what I'm doing for the second round. I have 8 killers/murders/mysteries jotted down. The Blood Countess (Ezebet Bathory otherwise known as Elizabet Bathory), Teh Taman Shud Case (suggested by a friend and this one makes me giggle like a school girl), Mary Ann Cottom, Genene Ann Jones, Ruth Snyder, Marie Hilley, and Nannie Doss are all on my list for the moment. I'm going to collect somewhere between 10 to 30 choices to write about.
Essays for my Muse 3: Paranormal, Supernatural and Cryptids: Part 3 of this series will focus on hauntings, creatures and other such things like that. I just have to figure out just what I'm going to do. I know that I'm going to do mythical creatures like dragons, fairies, vampires and the such, but it will extend beyond what is widely known and dip into some not so known subjects. Just a matter of time.
General life: I am planning on moving from where I currently live to Kentucky with a friend of mine. She has been here for me through thick and thin just like I have for her and I just need to move, both for my health and my mothers. She's kinda bad off right now. My mom officially has arthritis in her back along with spinal spurs, so it makes it hard for her to move around. She can still take care of herself, just adds to her pain.
General Life cont.: My own knee has been acting up like no tomorrow and I have no idea why. So I need to head to my doctor next month, when I have some cash, and check that out. Along with my heel that feels like something is slicing through the skin. Throbs like you wouldn't believe.

Anyways, outside of that, not a whole lot has happened.
  10. S.L. Lewis
I spent yesterday in the hospital. Again. I went in about 10:30, got out about 2. Not to bad.

But, the nurse who was assigned to me...couldn't feed the damn pain killer into me without bursting my vein. Pretty much, shoved the IV from where it was in my vein to sitting on the muscle...after poking another hole into it.

So I have a nice big bruise and I'm still sore like you wouldn't believe. Me and my vicodin are once more having an affair.

Tomorrow, nice bright and early, I get to go talk with my primary. Today, in about an hour or so, I'm calling the surgeon to talk to him, see how things will work out with the surgery and what not. I'm hoping to get it done soon because, really? I'm in to much pain to deal with this.

Yeah, the back pain that takes me out every so often more and more lately?Well, I finally found out what is causing it! Let me give you some history first, since I don't think I've ever gone over that here.

June/July 2010: My back starts to SCREAM at me. Ice pack, heating pad and some major pain killers don't work. At all. Call the ambulance, go to the nice ER and sit in a chair for somewhere near 7 hours and get a nice pain pill.

August 2010: Once more, my back is screaming at me and I go to the hospital. I get a nice shot (again) after I get some X-Rays taken.

November 2010: Back is screaming. This time...I get chewed out by the damn doctor for calling the f**king ambulance when I couldn't wait 3 hours for a f**king cab through my insurance to come get my ass. I still got my damn shot and walked out around 6.

February 2011: Again, back pain. This time I get to have a cat scan and a nice pill. Once more, I'm in a nice chair.

March 2011: Back pain. I go in with my mother this time. I end up with an IV and a saline bag being shoved into my blood stream because not only am I nauseous, but I can't really move and I'm ready to faint from the damn pain.

May 2011: Yes, once more, back pain. Once more, I'm sick to my stomach and in pain. Except this time, I'm still in some pain. This time though, they took me down to the nice man with the little wand that took pictures of my gallbladder. By the time I was done being
tortured (hey! You try having some little pain in the ass shove something into your side when it's screaming in pain) I was ready to hurt the poor tech and retching. I started to feel better.

I now have a diagnosis of stones in my gallbladder, otherwise known as gallstones.

    Goody, right?

Yeah, so now I know WHY I'm in so much pain so often. My coffee/tea habit. Mind you, that's...regular tea. My herbals really don't bother me but that may be because I'm addicted to Green Teas.

So for now, me and the water bottles are having a love affair, I am taking two to three different pills (depending on how I feel), which include a generic Zantac (for my stomach), generic Vicodin (still kicks my ass) and baclophen (since I don't have any more of my generic flexerial). All of these are to keep me from getting to the point of once more needing to spend most of the night and part of the day in the hospital.

I will try to keep you guys up to date on what is going on. I haven't gotten any sleep tonight, so don't mind if this seems rambling and odd. I'm going to call my nice doctor and finally do a follow up (as long as my insurance will let me get a damn cab up there today). And set up an appointment for a surgeon for my very much needed surgery.I promise to tell you guys the info as I get them. :3

Here's hoping my gallstones aren't as big as my moms were. She spent a week in the hospital post surgery because she had ones the size of a marble! And yes, that is BIG. And dangerous. If the surgeon tries to make me try pills to dissolve the suckers, I will laugh in his face and tell him I've been dealing with this shit for nearly a year. I am not doing it for ANOTHER year, on a bland diet on top of that.I like my food! I miss my pepper! And my coffee!! *cries*

Okay, so I'm sure I've lost a lot of readers on here especially since I'm not really active here. I can't help that because I'm busy with life and doing things.

    I'm sorry about that.

Anyways, if you watch A Butterfly's Dream, I'm sure you've seen my newest post on it's forum. I'm really sorry about this but I can't write the damn thing in present tense and I would end up rewriting it into past tense with the other two stories that are connected to it anyways.

I'm so glad that I finished 'Crimson and Shadows' (my NaNoWriNo submission) for the most part. I'm not working on that now. *sighs and goes to start doing that*

I...am unbelievably exhausted. Why am I so exhausted?

I have been working non stop on my damn NaNoWriMo thing (which I finished with 50,200 something words. Exact amounts can be found at my account, Candy_Lips).

I...have also been sick, lost my screen back in October and have been selling literary commissions. If you're interested in hearing my sale prices, PM me. Please. I could use the money to get people off my back out cash I don't have.

    Anyways....

I also have a hideously nasty cold that decided to ram right past my healthy diet (low on the caffeine, sugar and sweets), my immune system (back up by fruit and chew vitamins) and my asthma controlling medicine (My favorite word at the moment: flovent).

My body is just not liking me at the moment. Ugh...

Okay, I've updated. I'm going to edit my next chapter of A Butterflys Dream to death and hope that Beastie isn't wanting to strangle me slowly or something. I need to go re-edit some smut to.

So, I am alive (as much as I can be). I am working on things, really I am but I've been a bit on the busy side. Working on some fanfiction and the such. Some originals.

    Updated my twitter.

Going to get a tooth pulled on Thursday.

I'm still offering commissions (10 dollar a drabble [100 to 200 words], 2 to 10 dollars for a poem, .02 cents per word for story). Yeah, so life still sucks.

I'm going to take pain killers now.

[rant]Now...as a reader: how many read an authors note? Even just a scan just in case?

I know I do, just so I can see if they responded to my review or are going on hiatus or something of that nature.

Now...as a writer: how many of you update past Authors notes when something in your chapter is fixed or you're tired of hearing about something about that chapter that is needing to stay the way it is?

I do this, just so that people can know what's what.

Now, I have a fanfiction called A Different Life where in the 4th chapter, that was posted in 2003 mind you, I have about 3 or 4 lines of German.

I readily admitted that I didn't know any German beyond the occasionally word since I read a lot of Weiss Kruez (Means White Knight in German) and they have a German in the damn thing. I used a translation site.

Since the, 2003 to present date, I have gotten no less then 10 different translations!! Even after writing that I used a translation site and that I don't know German, and I don't have a friend who knows German and I hadn't discovered this site before hand, so couldn't ask for help in the translation!!

    Okay, I'm fine really.

So, I check my e-mail and I got another review. Clearly stated at the top of all my chapters now days is that I use a translation site and once finished I will revamp the story.

Apparently this person (name withheld for various reasons) didn't get the memo. They said and I quote:

So, I'm alive and well. I've been working my stories. I have started to post 100 Flash Stories and have since posted a story that has helped me in purging my demons. I'm also working on a new story. Jason and Gary have both looked over it. Apparently Jason wants to read the next chapter right now since I've only written the prolongue.
I plan on working on the first chapter some more, but for now, I need sleep and I need to let my hand and wrist relax. My carpal tunnel is acting up again. *le sigh* This is what I get for doing a lot of typing.
I shall try to update more often, I promise.

Okay, so I was happy up until I went to check my e-mail. I saw that I had recieved a review on my fanfiction which can be found on Adult Fanfiction. It's called A Different Life and is actually very popular.
The way the story is written, it's light, yet with deeper undertones and there are many things that are held back, including what I've been calling the Demon Hunters. It's because I haven't decided what to officially call them, what language to use, and where to let the cat out of the bag.
Anyways, I open the e-mail and this was what I found:

*watches good mood die a horrible death* You know, maybe I'm reading it wrong or something, but the way this is written just pushed my buttons. I can take constructive critisism and I can dole it out, but I'm polite about it!
I would have first asked the writer if they were considering using a different name for the demon hunters or not. And if they were, I would suggest a few general ideas. Then I would tell them that, yes, I enjoyed the rest of the story.
I wouldn't nit pick over that one thing and I certainly wouldn't insult the author. It's just plain rude. So, tell me what you think.

So, I started to read Tigers story, 'Second Chances' and already I'm ready to bust out in tears. It's because it deals with some touchy subjects, including suicide of a lover/friend. I'm not going into details quite yet, but it hits home with me in a lot of ways so far. So, Tiger, dear, wonderful story so far.
I have started on another one shot and will be working with Gary and Jason to get it right and to get the feelings across correctly. Wish me luck.

    My upcoming writings.

My Hiding Story: It's a working title. This is for the first Anthology "Living in Shadows." It will be completed before any others. I have a general idea for what I want to do with the other three, but nothing solid.
A male hides himself from others while still being in front of them. He finally finds some one else who is hiding, right next to him.
That is a working summary. I'll work on it later. Characters Canara/Cheytan

My one shot series. Some are connected, but mostly aren't. The pairings/main characters are:
Whiskey/Brandywine: My cousin and Me: Almost done. I just want to work out the actual sex that was requested for. I don't want it to overwhelm the story. That would be bad.

Ichigo/Whiskey: My Taboo Want (working title)
    Ichigo/Brandywine: A Strawberries Herb (WT)
    Ichigo/Alex: Have no idea
    Ichigo/Leand
    Ichigo/Lien
    Icigo/Micheal
    Ichigo/Rapehal
    Brandywine/Alex
    Brandywine/Leand
    Brandywine/Lien
    Brandywine/Micheal
    Brandywine/Rapehal
    Whiskey/Alex
    Whiskey/Leand
    Whiskey/Lein
    Whiskey/Micheal
    Whiskey/Rapheal
    Alex/Rapheal
    Alex/Leand
    Alex/Lein
    Alex/Micheal
    Raphel/Micheal
    Rapehel/Leand
    Leand/Micheal

They are mostly reqests for those two characters to interact with each other in some way. I only have a couple of solid ideas right now for a couple. I'll keep you updated on them.

A side story to my story The Moons Journey with Cho and Hanami. I'm still poking at the idea for this one. I know that it won't come out until I re-write the next few chapters of the story.

So far, I like it here. The people are much more friendly than other forums and actually answer you. I rather like the change of pace. This blog, besides other parts, will be a good place to find out what I'm working on, and what has been posted.

So, I haven't really been active here right? Yeah, I've been...ehh lately. I think I remember telling you all about the gallbladder surgery around June, July 2011.

I've healed from that, no problems. But I've been exceedingly busy with other things.

I have finished writing, editing and posting Crimson Shadows which is a kind of sequel to A Butterfly's Life series, which includes A Butterfly's Dream.
I am working on editing chapter 5 of A Butterfly's Dream. I'm also adding more information about Clary and Davids relationship. I'm sure those of you who have read the story before remember that they were dating for about 3 weeks before Clary was killed on Pastor Alex's command. A friend and fellow writer, MTPictures, suggested that I add some details about it so I am.
I have started to post A Butterfly's Dream on DeviantArt. My name on there is SweetStuff23 and you'll get the low down on A Demons Toy Book 1 and A Demons Toy Book 2. I'll get into how that works between me and her down below.
I've been working on several fanfictions, along with a few originals. Fanfictions, despite playing in anothers world, are easier to write to a point. I don't have to worry about creating characters and worlds, so they tend to come easier to me.
The originals that I am working on are Merry F*ckin' Christmas, the sequel to Crimson Shadows, Follow Me Down, an Alice in Wonderland derivative and Midnights Taste, which is much darker then my other stories. At least that's how I'm hoping it'll turn out.
I'm also typing up and writing a few commission pieces for a friend, also originals.

So far, I believe that is all that I really need to touch down on. Now, to explain to you how A Butterfly's Dream and A Demons Toy works between me and MT-Pictures (also found on DevArt).

The two worlds are intertwined. I do use some of her characters, as she uses mine. The story set up that we have goes something like this:

    A Butterfly's Dance: Rye's Story
    A Demon's Toy
A Butterfly's Dream/A Demons Toy Book 2 (They somewhat coincide with each other since ADT has parts that are in ABD)
    A Butterfly's Flight

Like I said, they're intertwined together but you don't really have to read the Demons toy set to get what's happening in the Life series, there would just be a few things that aren't explained since they were explained in detail in A Demons Toy and to explain in myself would take much more time then really needed.

So, for now, I hope to see you guys around some more and enjoy yourselves with life!

Oh! By the by, I have a face book account under this name. :3 So if you want, look me up, tell me who you are and friend me to get more up to date statements on what I'm doing.
  23. S.L. Lewis
Are you doing it? Huh? Huh? Huh?

Isn't that so annoying? Yeah? I thought so.

Anyways, quick note on me: I'm good. Slightly sick but good all things considered. I don't have any cable because the cable company can't get off their fat arses and fix it, which I'm okay with at the moment. I'm somewhere with fast net. I'm good.

As for me, I'm doing fanfiction this year. A story that has been biting my own arse to get me to write it. Yeah.
It's called Like a Bullet, is a Bleach AU, comes from the same bunny that created Midnights Taste, an original story that is a serious psychological horror.

I also had to reformat my hard drive. Lost EVERYTHING. I'm still recovering. *flails*

So I will hopefully be on more often.

By the way...when did we change things? Really?
