What's up with me

This was posted last week so this is for you guys since I've just gotten to a point where I'm up to posting this.

Edit: So I decided to go into details on my adventures at the hospital. Let me tell you, it sucked so much. Warning: Nastiness ahead! You've been warned.

Okay, so Thursday, I was feeling okay, somewhat. I was dealing with a bit of pain, but I was able to eat and drink and the such. I wasn't drinking coffee (since at the time caffeine set me off), I had a carrot cake (which I should have saved, seriously) and I was playing around with some friends on AIM. It was a good day. I was feeling happy about things and contemplating a walk around the apartments as I sipped my sprite (no caffeine and tasty) when suddenly my stomach lurched. I called to my mom in a warning.

I was lucky that I was able to grab a bowl as I lost my carrot cake. My mother was able to grab her trash can for me to. That wasn't pleasant, but afterwards all the pain had disappeared and I was feeling pretty okay so we decided I didn't need to go to the hospital since I had an appointment for my doctors the next morning.

I still got off after telling my friends I might not be on the next day and went to kick back out in the living room. About 1:20 AM, I'm laying back in my recliner (I swear I fall asleep in that thing more often then I do my actual bed) and dozing a bit, planning on going to bed. My stomach gurgles. I don't think much of it and take a sip of my soda. It gurgles again then falls silent for the moment. Not a minute later but I'm flying forward in my recliner, the kick up falling down faster then it's ever done before and I'm introducing myself to my trash can. This time, I do go to the hospital. I gather my nice bag that was packed the last time I went in (that Wednesday actually), make sure I have word searches and paper to write on, not to mention pens and highlighters, and a book to read. I grab my phones (yes, phones, I use one to connect to my Yahoo) and contemplate

brushing my teeth. I do so. My mom is calling an ambulance during all this. I'm still feeling sick to boot. The nice paramedics come around and I go to the hospital. I sit there until about 2, 2:10 (about 25 minutes after I

arrived) and the worst possible thing happens. I lose my lunch again. But this time...there's nothing in my stomach. Except stomach acid.My throat felt like hamburger after that.

An IV, anti-nausea and some pain killer later, I'm sitting in an uncomfortable chair as I wait for a doctor that will listen to me. This being the third time in a WEEK that I've come in, they damn well better listen to me!!

I called my doc about 6: 30, told her that I wasn't coming in and went for ANOTHER painful ultrasound. The first one being the first when I had been diagnosed with gallstones, or as my discharge papers said: Gallbladder Disease - EI. Anyways, after a painful ultrasound (I was in pain and having that thing shoved into my side hurt) I went back to the ER department, got a pain shot and found a bed to crash on. Mind you, my mom had to go to her eye doctor for her appointment before I went into the ultra sound. To move on, about 10, 10: 30, I was told that a gallstone had moved to the main bile duct. Now, if you'll be so kind as to go to google adn google for a diagram of the gallbladder area, you will see a duct called Cystic Duct that attaches to the Common Duct. That is where the stone had moved to, which means that the bile that is in the

gallbladder (which helps in digesting the more fatty and harder to digest meals) kinda backs up.So that can cause the body to go into a fit. Which is painful.I spend Friday getting comfortable in my new room, getting a

shot of morphine and learning that I'm living on a 'clear liquid' diet for the day. Broth (vegetable for lunch and beef for dinner, beef being rather salty), tea (not very sweet), water, jello (lime on Friday, cherry on Saturday) and Popsicles (sherbert on sat and sunday). Saturday found me going under to remove the gallstone that had went floating off. All I remember after being that pill is being moved and falling asleep as I passed under the sill of the doorway of my holding room. Seriously. One minute I'm thinking of shoving Naruto into a dress and the next...I'm waking up to a nurse asking if I was in pain. My throat felt like hamburger, but I felt good. Which was nice. Got a small shot of morphine and wrote down my very dopy thoughts while I waited to go up.I was able to eat solid food.

I had a grilled chicken sandwich, scalloped apples, a fruit plate (honey dew and cantaloupe), tea, water and sherbert (orange, yummy). It was so NICE to eat real food. The next day, Sunday, I go down for my gallbladder removal surgery. This time, I get my anesthetic once in the surgery room. Once more, I'm thinking of something (a line about Naruto sucking off Kiba and Kiba talking dirty about that fact) and the next I'm waking up. This time, I'm in quiet a bit more pain. My neck and shoulders are stiff, but that was normal since I was laying out with my arms out at my side. I get a shot (again) of morphine and head up the stairs. I'm told once more that I'm to eat liquids but it's a bit more nice. Either way, Monday I'm discharged and happy and to go home. So...very, very happy. *nods*

And that's what happened.I've had my surgery. Had to go in on Thursday/Friday around 2 in the morning, something like that. A stone decided to move from my gallbladder and cause havoc in my body. So, Friday, spent getting the stone removed via my throat. Saturday, spent getting my gallbladder removed. *nods*

I'm just glad that I've healed pretty well from having the gallbladder removed. *nods* *sighs happily* And that it was only one stone that went MIA.

Ouch! Hopefully, they found all the gallstones. My fingers are crossed, too.

I got lucky that it was only one gallstone that decided to go MIA on me and that my gallbladder was removed pretty easily. I was so happy to have it taken out. :3
