I think amongst Krista's menagerie of animals she fosters there are some goats. That automatically makes her opinion here invalid since it's prejudiced in favor of the cute little things she sees as goats; which are not at all the same thing those of us here in the real world (outside the barn) see as a goat.

That would mean assigning the value of roast to goat. I guess that could work. I prefer goat == roast.

Welcome to GA Joel. I hope I got the Joel part right. Anyway, GA is great for all kinds of things besides reading stories. We're a wonderfully diverse community and are always anxious to help fellow members with whatever issue is on their mind be it something good or something troubling.

I'm a huge comic book fan. When I look at all the classic villains they've all had one thing in common. Personality problems that resulted in ultimately screwing up their plans. Case in point, look at all the inept morons Lex Luthor from Superman has surrounded himself with over the years. He's never been able to achieve his goals.

I always wondered if the team had anything to do with Japan's biggest shopping center owner, Rakuten. I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently the team is owned by Rakuten. They sure seem to have a lousy record, although this past season seems to have been their best so far. Still, an overall record of 152/257 isn't something to be proud of.

Interesting and sad story Greg. It's always sad when we have to change our name to avoid discrimination. My father had to do that right after WWII in order to have a less Jewish sounding name and get into a good law school. So Ketive got changed to Keith and dad graduated at the top of his class. He taught those bastards a lesson that there's more to a person than just their name. Go Dad!
