  1. November 18, 2005 Harvard Cambridge, MA Will I got up and felt different than I had these past few weeks. I managed to snag the shower in our room today, and even as I cleaned my body I tried to figure out why that was. I labored over it as I dried off and as I got dressed, then pondered it some more as I worked on my hair. Right before I headed to class, I finally figured it out. I was feeling hopeful and confident because I wasn’t tackling all this bullshit alone; n

    The Betrayal

I don't watch much network TV either, but this one is on Netflix. The sex scenes are well done, although sometimes one prays that it would be just a bit more explicit (you can't see any dicks). It's about a relationship between two hockey players: one gay, one bisexual, and another gay one thrown in for a separate storyline. Well worth watching.
  5. Winkler will be with him. It's a rare occasion when they're separated. Look, I can only write so fast. 😀

  7. March 26, 1802 Ministry of Marine Madrid, Spain The room they were in was quite large and very grand, but for all of its space, the room’s two occupants were huddled together in one corner, sitting in two chairs perpendicular to each other. There was a table to the side on which sat two half-full glasses of wine. “You are in an interesting situation,” Admiral Langara said. “Sir, it is unclear to me why my services were solicited to command the Proserpina,” Gra

November 10, 2005 Harvard Cambridge, MA Will I was kicking back on my bed with my legs propped up against the wall and a boring textbook pressed against them. The book got heavy so I reoriented myself so I was leaning against the headboard with the book resting on my knees. I still wasn’t absorbing the material like I should, so I went over and sat at my desk, spinning around in my chair for a minute. I had finally gotten into my book, finally got into that study groov

Times Beach was a shit show, but to call it a beach was a stretch in the first place. When I think about beaches, I’m not thinking of patches of gravel next to a river

    The Interviews

November 4, 2005 Harvard Cambridge, MA Will I sat in our common room eating pizza with Austin, Marie, and Jeremy, relishing this peaceful time with no outside interruptions. That was shattered when I saw a flash go off outside. Some photographer had tried to take a picture through the window and had forgotten to turn off his flash. I just shook my head, even as I pushed a button to lower the shades. This was a fucking nightmare. “So how can I get rid of this circus?”

Your allegation that Charles IV was a homosexual seems to be contrived by deduction, which is not good grounds to come to that conclusion. While there was speculation that Godoy and the Queen had an affair, I am not aware of any proof of this. And the story of Maria Luisa's bedside confession is just that. A story. Allegations and gossip do not equal facts. FYI, from ChatGPT: There’s no credible historical evidence that Charles IV of Spain was homosexual. What we do know is shaped more by politics and reputation than documented fact: 1. His marriage and children He was married to Maria Luisa of Parma. They had many children together (though not all survived infancy), which at minimum indicates a functioning marital relationship. 2. The Godoy factor (source of rumors) The queen had a very close—and widely rumored romantic—relationship with Manuel Godoy. Because Godoy rose rapidly in power, critics attacked the royal family, often implying: the king was weak or passive the queen was unfaithful Some later gossip stretched this into speculation about the king’s sexuality, but that’s not supported by primary sources. 3. His reputation Charles IV was often described as: politically ineffective more interested in hunting and crafts than governing Enemies used personal attacks—including insinuations about masculinity—to undermine him. Bottom line There’s no historical basis for labeling Charles IV as homosexual. The idea comes from later rumor, political slander, and attempts to explain his perceived weakness as a ruler—not from evidence about his personal life.

I think that Travis is way too competitive to take a backseat unless he has to, and then he'd be clouded by regrets. He'd go for the brass ring.

    The "It" Boy

November 1, 2005 Tribeca New York, NY Will I sat in the helicopter and I was miserable, the way I usually felt when I had to leave Travis. We had made love literally all night long, so in addition to my emotional pain I was also cursed with physical pain because my ass was so sore. And because we were up all night, I was exhausted. I yawned and got a dirty look from Marie, who then yawned herself. “Didn’t you get any sleep last night?” I challenged. “I slept fi

March 25, 1802 Royal Palace Madrid, Spain Granger was led into a small anteroom by a chamberlain, followed by Daventry, then by Royal footmen carrying the items Granger had brought for the King and Queen. Granger had a meeting a few days from now with Godoy to present the gifts he had brought for the Prince of Peace. Granger and Daventry entered the room and were formally announced. They both bowed to the sovereigns, then approached a table that was approximately ten
