April 30, 2006 Harvard University Cambridge, MA Will My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID: Travis Buck. As I went to answer it, I hid my irritation. He’d promised me that he’d call me yesterday and he didn’t. This bullshit where he made a commitment then just blew me off was starting to really piss me off. I’d called him twice yesterday, then late last night I’d finally gotten a lame text from him. Now, finally, on Sunday evening, he decides to call me back.

TRAVISTY by: Mark Arbour Chapter 40: Dexies April 24, 2006 Bright Star Studios Manhattan Beach, CA Travis I pushed open the door to my trailer and stepped inside. The first thing I did was look in the mirror, and the image that stared back at me was horrifying. My hair was a mess, my eyes were glassy, and my entire body looked exhausted,

I'm not sure. This family has a bit of misogyny in its ecosystem. We see that in how they are more protective/upset about their daughters having sex, and how they generally put them on a pedestal. I think that Claire may be capable, but she would never have to. Brad or JP would handle it for her.

This is true. Travis is focused on solving his current problem and nothing else

Don’t forget the poll.

April 21, 2006 MAC, Harvard University Cambridge, MA Will “Alright, this is the semifinals, so this is a big deal,” Niko said as we huddled around our bench. “This is one of two teams we lost to.” I grimaced a bit when he said that, because Kirkland had beat us fair and square, but that had been when Austin and I were having issues, and that had thrown our chemistry off. I glanced at him and saw he was thinking the same thing I was, remembering that shitty time, then h

As most of you have guessed, Travisty is building up to a big explosion. Guess which chapter that happens in.

I don’t remember him having curly hair but otherwise, yeah

I don't necessarily think Travis is weak, I think he is vulnerable.

April 13, 2006 Bright Star Studios Manhattan Beach, CA Travis I sat in the makeup chair, staring back at myself, knowing that while I looked totally normal on the outside, on the inside I was a mess. I’d taken Xanax two hours ago and it hadn’t landed the way it normally did. The pressure in my chest hadn’t dropped or flattened, the anxiety was still there, and I had to hold my hands together to keep them from shaking. On top of that, I had a major confrontation scene w

The first song was a bit too weird for me, but I loved the Pink video!

That's Will's preferred solution too, but it doesn't seem to resonate with Travis.

April 4, 2006 Bright Star Studios Manhattan Beach, CA Travis I gritted my teeth in anger, annoyed that I’d only been back for two days and already the calmness I’d mastered over spring break was gone. We’d had an amazing time, mostly surfing and snorkeling, although the nighttime swims were also way cool. I’d been absolutely sure that I’d lose my mind without having access to my phone, and I was right for the first day and a half. I’d catch myself constantly patting at t

No offense taken, and in fact a true compliment. I was 12 when I started reading Hornblower.

May 5, 1802 Mediterranean Sea, near Roses, Spain “Run in the guns!” Valera ordered, and the tired crews pulled the 12-pounders back into Proserpina, swabbed them out, and stood waiting for the next order. “I think we are much improved,” Granger noted to Mendoza. “Have the gunner bring up the extra powder I purchased and we will try a live fire exercise.” “Aye aye, sir,” Mendoza said. The Spanish navy was no less frugal than the Royal Navy, and they were unwil

March 24, 2006 Harvard University Cambridge, MA Will We were warming up, doing our normal thing. Austin hit the ball to me, but when I hit it back, he was distracted and it bounced off his head like he was playing soccer. I started laughing, then followed his gaze and abruptly stopped. There was something wrong on the other side of the net. First of all, there were only five guys warming up, and this was a six-on-six league. Secondly, the coach for Cabot was having a

April 13, 1802 Cartagena, Spain Granger looked at Proserpina and almost laughed at how she appeared. She was in the drydock, so she was lodged against braces to keep her from falling over as the men scraped off her weeds. The weeds on her hull were as long as the weeds had been on Santa Clarita. It was no wonder she was so slow. But what made her look comical was the sulfur smoke that was pouring out of little nooks and crannies where they hadn’t been able to fully seal t

Clearly the author of that Crimson piece was clueless. What an idiot. 😀

March 11, 2006 Manhattan Beach, CA Travis I looked over at the clock next to my bed and it told me that the time was 2:15pm. I yawned and stretched, then pondered what to do for the rest of the day. I’d spent my morning surfing, enjoying the board Will had gotten me. Damn that thing was cool. It was so much more maneuverable than any other board I had, and I was loving how it seemed to just glue itself to a wave. After the waves died, I’d come back in and crashed. I had go

I think that in this case your fancasts are off, which is unusual because normally you nail them. Tanner Zagarino is hot, and he used to be a wrestler at Pitt. https://pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/wrestling/roster/tanner-zagarino/6204 I can see him as either Tony or John Carrulo. The Sprouse twins don't have the natural prince in them that is Jeremy. And their hair isn't blond enough.

At least something is still affordable

That was a great volleyball video. Thanks! Niko is exaggerating, but if you think about it, putting together a killer squad for IMs is pretty dope. Just saying.
