  1. Amazing, I can not wait to see how you will get one of our favorite protagonists from death? By the way, I can not wait for chapter 46. PS. Kill Dimitri Painfully!
  2. Thank you very much for the happy birthday notes and Graeme, we may have differences in opinion, but I respect you immensely. Well, it's not my birthday yet; I am still legally a minor in some rights, so guys do not think about any thing bad yet.
  3. sounds like a good title, "blood and sacrifice"; knowing your penchant for in-bedding hints in titles, who's blood will be spilt and who will be sacrificed? CJ, the producers of 24 need some one like you for the next season, who else can establish a high tension plot with cliffhangers every other chapter.
  4. Well, the legion of doom could have been made stronger, but the balance between good and evil should always slide a bit more to the good guys. Back to the story, I get a feeling that the coup will not go as planned and it might ultimately fail. I think Scar would escape from South America at some point. Dimitri is a dead duck (not goat!); he needs to die soon.
  5. Actually, I was implying actually getting them together. I want Eric to fall for a guy.
  6. if you want to leave the blame on Shadowgod, you got to include a character from his stories; maybe get him involved in a relationship with one of your characters, who's a little bicarious, hehe (Sorry for the plug; just a fan's dream) Out of all the guys here, I really don't think you are a goat. You seem too sheepish for that!
  7. Oh CJ is the king of cliffhangers! It's a good title CJ, look at it this way, you build up your stories and keep the intensity building. Your cliffhangers might get resolved, but things keep building. By the way, life and death cliffhanger count; look at it this way, chapter 44 life and death count could really be over 4-5 million people, so it counts as a cliffhanger too.
  8. I really like the chapter and can not wait to see that scumbag finally get his! Poor Chase & Brandon, after everything is done and settled those two should just come out and get married. California has made it legal at least for now, go boys and do it. As for our Bassist and the remainder of the band,
  9. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Good cliffhanger, but it now makes me think this is going to be a bloodbath. CJ, Don't you dare!
  10. I just got a plot idea, why don't Dimitri try a terrorist tactic, drive the car with high explosive directly towards the house, then he could detonate and kill everyone? It works for Palestinians, Iraqis, and Afghans, so why not poor little Dimitri. It would be a lot easier and smarter to do that than to go in with everyone knowing who you are with guns blazing; even if you have an AK-47 and grenades. At the end, you will die either way, so why die in the most efficient military manner and take out as many as you can. The kGB was supposed to train their agents to think like that.
  11. This is going to be fun, but Dimitri
  12. I think that was Doing it Right or you might be mixing it up with Do-over Redux as well, since Sean hated Davey alot at that time, too with alot more bitterness. It is not just a story about Davey and Brian forever, but it also tells you the story of Brandon and Sean, too. Their scenes may be a bit more subtle or overt at times, but they also share some sweat tender moments, like in Doing it Right, when Brandon said he would get a kid just so Sean would stay with him forever; even though, he liked to be a world hopping millionaire.
  13. ....And a bomb, especially if it is the one I am thinking of, is way too risky and high profile to use on just a handful of people. That will most likely be the last surprise for our heroes. Oh, by the way, Helen is not a Bitch! She is just dog like in her tenacity and shrewdness, hehe. I actually like her character; she seems very human and adult in the story.
  14. The guys are right; although as a reader, I know the selfish desire to read new stories, too. CJ take a good break and if you feel like it afterward start to create a new story or do a sequel. Just remember us readers will keep on rocking and rolling for you with strange ideas and concepts.
  15. Thanks for telling us about the sequel; hopefully, we will get know Joe Clump or Lump a little more in that story. If I had to put money on it; he still has a lot of issues to deal with; a bit of homophobia does stem from not being able to accept homosexual desires within yourself and I get the feeling Lump might just be unhappily in denial as well as the whole issue revolving around his mother's murder by......(silent whisper, "his father"). I also feel like you could explore the band dynamic wise; The Shadows could be explored a little more, too; including the relationship of Wilde and Steve. Here is a plea from not just one fan, please give Eric a relationship with someone, preferably Cody, and tons of Tequilla for his wild adventures!
  16. It would not be likely for Dimitri to pretend to be a deputy and succeed; don't forget the kids saw him with Scar/Jerry in Australia. Although, he could try the plan and be tricked into being held hostage by the band, their manager, and 50 or so bikers with an intent to kill some one for what just happened, hehe. That idea would make one interesting scene, I wonder what types of torture techniques the kids and bikers would use to force information out of Dimitri; nothing sadistic.
  17. Dimitri still has a nuke out there for LA remember, mwuhahaahahahahaha. This could get tense really quick.
  18. Great story CJ, the chapter had some good tension and some well-deserved string pulling from a certain general. By the way, I have a knack for guessing at pivotal plot devices and I think (spoilers):
  19. Well as long as you don't break Chase and Brandon up, the fans will not kill you
  20. Well with only six chapter to go for let the music play, I just wanted to get this idea up into the open. I love your story CJ, it is fun with technical details that are very interesting and sexual details that make me feel like I want to be a rock star. The evolution of Brandon, Chase, Eric, Jon, and Helen as characters has been some of the finest. I would love to hear more about Instinct and their next tour, maybe have more interesting things happening; like some new villainous characters with plans of global domination, some more fun in the sun or the cold, and a lot of development for brandon and chase. If not a true sequel here are three ideas to ponder from my list of possible spin-offs: A shot of Tequilla- What happened Eric?- The band mates go in search of their missing bassist after a night of wild partying, only to find a mystery, some sexy adventures on the way, and mysterious forces working aginst them. Brandon Wolfe- Secret Agent- Well, it is possible, since Brandon has a good working knowledge of fire-arms, street fighting, and engineering applications. He also has a knack for flying and a pretty clever mind that works instinctually (hehe). A rockstar by day and an agent for the CIA on the side surveying the hotspots remaining undercover with his bandmates. That idea tops the Hanna Montana concept by a light year. Helen Rocks-I think that Helen has more than one group of Rockers in her arsenal and maybe we can look into another group of young up and coming Rockers. We can get into band formation process that was never looked at in the beginning of the story and continue on with cameos from Instinct and even The Shadows. Other ideas-Self explanatory, any one has any fun spin-off ideas or sequel ideas that could be fun. I know CJ this thread may be a bit early, but I just hope you story does not end so soon. It has been fun and really awesome.
  21. I just caught up with the story and I have to agree you got some nice cliffies there C.J. You write a story like a Grisham novel meets Hollywood's "Sex, Scandal, and videotape" with a lot of intrigue, character build-up, and fun. Can't wait to read the next 6 chapters. Also, shame on you for creating that allusion of "lost to the world" to cause such great fear that our heroes would die, hehe. Thank you for the great story.
  22. I guess, I should have come here first, haha. I got into GA from reading dkstories's Do-Over series in the last few months. They drew me deeper and deeper into gay fiction, so I guess you guys sort of seduced me, ha!. By the way, I am writer as well, but I have not been able to write for the last 3 years anything concrete. I was a published short story and poetry writer back in high school. Recently, I have started to get into reading and my mind has started racing again, so I might eventually post some stories up.
  23. I do not know if anyone else did something like this, but I just want to see what everyone's favorite scene was. Well, since Do-Over has gone on to its end or a hiatus, I was just wondering what some of the fans favorite scenes were. My favorite scene had to be from the 1st do-over, when Davey was in the AIDS wing of the hospital. It was that scene if anything else that made me such a big fan of the series. You get the most emotional punch out of the scenario of the need to make history better than it was. If anything allowed Davey and later Brian to try to create a better future; I think it was that one moment, where Davey realizes that he had to do something to help mankind. It also makes another dramatic impact as later on in the series subtley; Davey and Brian both tries so hard to stop the epidemic, but in the end they had to give up for the same reason that they began: For the good of all mankind.
  24. You have an interesting topic and I agree there is much in degrees of environment and triggers for personal depression. 1. I would think there are certain conditional differences among gay or straight people, but this idea is simply a notion without statistically proven facts. I think depression can affect you in many ways even positively if you can get through it. 2. It is not really a matter of weaknesses or resistance in certain levels that make gay people more prone to depression. Societal affects do come back to haunt people, who are gay, versus people, who are straight, more in some degrees. The key reasoning may be the antagonism that society gives to gay people as they grow up and a feeling of isolation that is onset through such notions. Sociology and psychology come hand in hand, when you look at how attitudes develop that influence depression. There is a reason behing the large amounts of gay teens committing suicide versus straight teens over the years. 3. I do not know if it is easier to accompany or assist anyone with depression. It is a mindset that is not easily borken out of without some internal desire through the depressed person. On a personal note, I have been depressed recently due to a multitude of factors concerning choices that I made in my life so far. Being as young as I am, I made certain life changing choices that I already know has affected me in many ways. Being gay was not a choice, but trying to hide it, reproach it, and even subdue it were choices that I tried to force on myself. Things are not simply black and white in our world, Depression is something that leads to greater sadness if not controlled, but it is also something that I believe gives a good reflection on you as a person if you can confront the reasons why you are depressed and have support for it.
  25. I guess you guys are right; I might be a bit selfish in my thinking, but I agree that an ending is an ending nonetheless. It is one reason why I admire the Do-over series; it does not take the easy way out and have everyone happily ever after, except perhaps the first and last one in the original trilogy. Yet, I think "new aspect" is something that only theorist have ever dreamt about and that would make an interesting story onto itself. I think alot of people have read, so I will attach a spoiler and bring out some thoughts about what I mean:
