CJ! I get the feeling that Eric's sexuality will not be so easily resolved. He keeps saying he is not gay, so I think he will need to find that special guy through a unique means. I have not seen Shady around for a while, maybe he was kidnapped by the a mysterious goat to his mountain cave hideaway, so he could not unite the lovers together. Poor Shady!

True tiger! Don't worry, I made three speculations on how the story will go, my personal guess is that the first speculation is more likely as a drawn out plot arc is more CJ's style. My latter two would be a departure from his style, but possible in different circumstances. Now my other more immediate concern is with the island itself!

True, but it makes us fans of the idea that a Rockstar and a regular gay guy can get-together premise for LTMP happier if Cody would be Eric's boyfriend. Beside, it is cute and intriguing to see them together.

Now here is a minor point, who wants to take the bet that Chase and Brandon are not going to have an uneventful stag party and wedding. Feels like some one wants to play "volcano" or "earthquake", which can set off a volcano if it stikes close enough. Eric needs to find a guy soon or else CJ might just do a virgin sacrifice (well, he is not exactly a virgin!) Another thing to consider is where does Jim want to get married? I know we look at the boys' story a lot, but the minor characters are usually the keys to bigger plots later on.

For JT, I think ex-KGB would be very likely for his background considering Scar's background. Even if he does not become the main villain, which is still possible at this point, his experience will be invaluable in the future chapters. Male strippers, hmm, maybe he will find a nice down on his luck guy that interviews for the position and ends up his new paramour. Think about the headlines on that, "Bassist in Famed Rock Band Dating Male-Stripper" Enquirer eat you heart out! You introduce the title in the first chapter, interesting. You are moving faster than before; I wonder what other meaning that has.

I love the do-over series and there are very few stories that got me to read it over and over again like your story has. I will not publish this fan fiction story on e-fiction or anywhere else, except on this part of the forum. It is just a crazy idea I got from looking at the story and figuring certain interesting facts from Sci-fi and science that relates to your ideas on time travel and the subspace bubble mentioned a couple times. It also creates a unique solution to the Do-Over human dilemma, people fight over scarce resources, but if your resources become infinite, then what do you have to fight for. Without the ability for greed, envy, and certain amounts of gluttony, mankind eliminates alot the key factors behind why we fight. The solution is the Do-Over technology onto itself, hehe! {Story to be placed here pending DK approval}

Time to bring back this dead thread to speculate on the sequel to the amazing Let the music play story. We know not the fate of Scar after his death or what plans he might still have. Remember he still has $5 million dollars in the bank, so he could theoretically get back on top again. Lump and the Shadows, where will they go and how can Lump deal with life post-rehab and trying to figure out how to live without fearing gay people or even more interestingly if he might indulge in it on occasion. Then we have our own instinct, how changed is Helen? What ever happened to Jim? Brandon and Chase wedding plans going good? Can Jon, Eric, and Chase mend fences with the parents ever? Lastly, Fans can not forget about Eric's need for Tequila and sex. Will this party animal ever calm down? Will he settle down with one guy or girl? (I know Cody may have been a one time thing, but I want Eric with him) or Will he end up like Brian from Queer as folk (US version) and love without settling down? (still am not satisfied with that ending after finishing that show a few weeks ago) The future is bright and look free from nuclear explosions.................... PS. Do I smell a Bond villain in the making? HEHE! Well, what can Scar do now after his failure? If CJ does not go back and use nukes again, then the only other threat big enough would be biological weapons. However, if it was me I would choose something a little more interesting to play around with: not a weapon that will kill people per se, but something that can cause the destruction of human civilization if my demands are not met *(Yep, Bond moment). While still technologically feasible with what we have today and what people are worried about behind every action?

I wanted to try my hand at writing a large scope story and I began it with support from some friends over in jeff's fort family Forum and decided to continue writing it. The story utilizes Ancient mythology based off Norse legends and gods, Sci-Fi elements from the long forgotten Earth Final Conflict Universe (which never found a good direction due to actor problems), some minor and major crossover stories from different universes (there is hint of one from chapter 2), Fantasy elements (beginning with my use of Elvish language and Runes with more later), and a bunch of introspective dynamics of humanity. i warn you my writing can get dark at times and I know that some things in my stories will produce cognitive memories of sad times. I hope it can help you through those memories by presenting another viewpoint and perspective. I want critics as well as praises, please be honest about my story. Maybe Brandon can take over managing the Band; actually, there have been hints at it for a while now that he would make a good band manager. Helen always compliments him on his keen sense of what is right for the band and his sense of fashion sense. Remember the first time he and Chase went out to his apartment and he forced chase to wear sun glasses and a cap. He also knows how to get attention pretty well. CJ were you hinting at Brandon's ascension to Band Manager all along I wonder or is that another story in the distant future.

Yep, he is saved! Dimitri has his and War is brewing............ I sense a dkstories storyline coming; I mean, the guy started world war III for god sakes, the least CJ could do is start a small regional conflict. From a fan of both authors, I would love to see a crossover between you two or corroboration, since both of you have highly technical storytelling techniques and your use of atomic weapons are well known. Very good lessons, indeed! I think others would be the Murphy's law on time travel, if anything can go wrong, it will, which is a reason behind certain things happening i.e. Davey's mother and sisters deaths, the miniature and grand world war III, and finally the Gulag for Brian. A perfect time line is never completely possible, which begs the question: what would the object of time travel be if you just keep changing the past hoping to un-"do" something that was created by another time traveler? The answer was in Doing it Right, try your best to give mankind a shot at whatever peace we can manage and just let it rest with that. Davey's action in that time line was not only beneficial; it was a great way to create some peace at least for a few decades. On the human lessons learned, love may change due to lost and time, but if you truly hold some one in your heart; they are never forgotten or lost forever. Davey and Brian's love are eternally bound with numerous times of loss, but they always find each other. It makes them a couple as equal to Romeo and Juliet, Brutus and Cleopatra, or any other famed tragic lovers. As long as one is alive, the other will keep the faith in the next lifetime. A final comment about these stories, Davey and Brian are classic romantic couple, if society were not as it is today, I would guarantee you that this set of stories would be made into epic movies. Dan has crafted a story far beyond what could be hoped for with a blend of Sci-fi, action, suspense, high politics, and sex that would make Tom Clancy jealous with envy.

Glad to hear that Brandon has a chance at life, but Dimitri will be alive, too. I want Dimitri to be tortured for information for some reason; it just feels right to me for what he has done to Chase and all the people he killed and tried to kill.

Dan's stories are less cliffhanger oriented and more action/thriller oriented. Do over series is my favorite out of all the stories (sorry CJ, I love let the music play, but I have spent four lifetimes loving Davey and Brian). I will tell you guys one thing though, when Dan does want to do a cliffhanger, you will go nuts thinking what he will do next. Do over has a few, so does Do over redux and Doing it right, but Let's do it has the most of them all.
