Ick, John is 12 at this point of the story remember? :wacko: As for Gathan's attitude towards his future father-in-law, let's review from a different perspective: 1) July 4 Gathan was put down by high-society Mrs. Finch because she thought he was not good enough. 2) July 11 Gathan was shot by someone who thought Brad and Stef was not good enough for Texas. 3) July 18 Loser Josh Grover attempts to put down Gathan. 4) July 19 Gathan was un-adopted by Wally and Clara (mostly Clara) 5) July 23 Brad and Will gets kidnapped in France 6) July 25 Kristen almost gets herself killed on a doomed Concord Flight. 7) July 28 Gathan gets arrested under trumped up charges of rape. 8) Aug 2 --> Dinner with Mr. H and his "Let me explain it to you as if you are a moron" attitude.... Of course, this brief time line does not include moving out of Wally and Clara's house, giving up his old truck, putting up with closet case Zach, outing himself towards Kristin, and finding out Kristin is telling everyone they are getting married. And you want to know why Gathan was not more respectful towards Mr. H??? :wacko:

gotta say Go JP!! I too was wondering when that card was going to be played. except if Kristen's family was smart, they would dig further and find Brian... finding a dead relative (under suspicious circumstances might I add) associated with JP and family does NOT make for a good guardian.

I am seeing a pattern: If a two-bit player in the world of CAP ever have had a bad moment with any Family member, that bit player will go off the deep end and seek revenge. Time is meaningless and will spend years (decades!) until that bit player winds up dead somewhere..

Of course, speaking from personal experience, the situation also depends on how much alcohol is involved and how horny the person is. Simple math equation (Beer / Time lapsed of consumption) + (Horny x Days of last time of sex) = probability of scoring.

Roadblocks... I know the feeling... Straight-up: I am/was writing fan fiction to both Do Over and Rider's Pride. I hit a brick wall on both stories and because of plotline I wrote I can NOT continue with the way it was written. Had I started to publish either story, I would of wound up with about 20 chapters and then stopped. that was over a year ago and I still can't figure out a decent way over the wall without going off established dkstories cannon. so a full re-write is in order... too bad some people can't understand that writing a story takes time and if you hit a bump in the plot, it might take a while to get over that bump.

there was an earlier post from dan and he said it was cool with him as long as it was not posted (chaper by chapter) in his forum... Something like posting the story as a new GA story was fine with him since you are not the only fan of dan to come up with fan-fiction And if it means anyting, I for one would love to read your interpertation of this Epic Story on Do Over...

well considering Brian was only about 10 years older then Kristen, she could be JP's half sister...
