And when you mean the 'next story', do you mean the next chapter of "The Box" or next story as in Next Story that you have not written yet?

hmm, has Mark mentioned that Uncle Aaron has died in the war? The only one we know of was Steph's dad. And if it's Brian, all he had to know was what companies Luke and Steph and Brad was looking at to invest without knowing what details if the investments would be good for. That's a bad way of investing: by names and not facts and details behind the comapnies. Good example would be Lehman Bros.

Well, even if Stef lost his shirt on the up-coming dot.com implosion and 9/11, I think he will make it up with his Google investment Unless he borrowed $$$ against his real-estate portfolio to prop up his venture capital firm and then waited too long only to watch the real estate/banking industry fall under... That would be bad. But you know, if Brian is trying to hurt everyone (if it is him), why not go after JP too? I am not sure Stanford would appreciate knowing a department chair is also a pot-head...

wow, this story is definitely falls under the category of TMI! It actually took me until Chapter three that this story was more or less Mark's early life story :wacko:. And then I understand where he was inspired to write the CAP series Thanks Mark for sharing this and you really inspired me to write about myself ... I am curious about a few things... How small is this town and this festival? I mean both Robbie's mom and Matt's bio-mom got to meet them. Matt gets to met his half-siblings and buys his half-brother a phone. Matt b-slaps Fred. Nick comes in drunk. All at the festival and all in a short amount of time? And has Brian ever showed up with JP at the festival? Does Jim know about Brian and JP's true ancestry? And for an off topic question that I wanted to post before chapter 2... Has anyone watched the movie Se7en? My favorite line at the end --> "What's in the box?" and Hoskins, what's wrong with Caprica???

I am reading the story and I am re-reading the story and yet I am confused... I have no idea what exactly Micah is doing and how he got to this point in time. Am I reading correctly that the Senator Howard knew/knows Micah has memories of the future and that the Senator was responsible in sending Micah's and other people's memories back to their younger selves? If that's the case, I am not sure the good Senator, future president is on the side of good.

Since Mark already mentioned this story is going to involve flashbacks, I am guessing it contains photos, journals, newspaper articles and the like. Perhaps a trinket from a past celebration that brings back memories? Of course, some good blackmail material in that box would also bring some meat to the table.

Except in your stories, there has been at least one person in each story to die already! Clear examples are murder (Both JP and Robbie), drug OD, car crashes, whole buckets of extra characters by HIV and suicides that in this time could be ruled as suspicious... I'm just saying... And everyone is saying Brian and Benjamin are together. They held hands, but that does not mean they are 'together'...

One thing that has been bugging me since I have been trying to catch up on the entire series: When Matt did that twink at the cafe bathroom stall (where Cody was going to dump Matt), Matt pulled out a condom (Safe Sex People!) and some lube... Where was he keeping the lube? I mean, I can keep a condom or two in my jacket but I don't think of carrying a small bottle of lube. And I have to tell you I am going to be sad when you get to the part of the story of Bloodlines is the point where you break up Matt and Wade. I mean, you have broken up most of the couples in your stories except Jack and Claire. (Brian/Cody, Alejandro/Casey, Robbie/Brad when they went to different Colleges, Max/Marcel) And for some reason, I have sympathy for Brian. I wonder if that's because I used to date someone like Cody and I HATE people like Cody. He seems more of a user then Brian is. And no people, I am not still bitter

(yeah, listen... That's just TMI there!!!) I don't know but I think it would be horrid for me to re-live my teen years. Knowing what I know now, I probably would of slept with the wrong people (they were hot @16!) and probably got someone that was 18 tossed in jail! (he was hitting in me, and too bad I was too closeted. He was hot too...) would I have done things differently? Yeah well, @ 16, your body is not letting your brains do what is right in the first place. Just my opinion. Anyways, the more I read Goon and dk's last story, The beard, I am convinced there is another do-over machine and at least those stories are connected...
