Magical Holiday I heard a noise and looked around, but the hallway was empty. I had no idea who had placed the box in the corridor. I carried the present into the kitchen where I was baking cookies for Christmas. The box shook in my hands. I heard another sound, definitely coming from the box. There was something inside. I read and wrote LOTR fanfiction in the past, until I wanted to write my own characters in a more original setting. My first original story was set in Paris. It was about a haughty noble man who was dark haired, but otherwise looked elvish, of course. I remember I was very proud when I had completed my first original story. Hopefully, I must not read it again.

I played LOTR Online Role-Playing Games many years ago. I latwr wrote fanfiction and finally original stories. Role-Playing Games are a great source for creativity. I learned spontaneity and ad-hoc problem solving in writing and under time constraints. That's probably why I'm mostly a pantser, making up my stories as I write them. I can't plan a story and write with an outline. I tried but I get immediately bored.

I wrote and posted chapter by chapter when I started out (to a site no longer active) until I wrote myself into a corner. In the end l removed the unfinished story. Now I finish a story and edit it before I start posting. I have so many unfinished stories. I'm happy I never started posting them. They would all be on hold. -
The comments I get are mostly constructive feedback. Sometimes comments sound negative, but they often point to a problem I didn't see, like a plot hole for instance. A couple of years ago, I was told my writing showed that I was a spoiled brat. I was offered no further explanations. I still don't see the commenter's intent. The star system was a problem, too, in the past when an anonymous user - for whatever reason - voted down stories, mine and others, by giving them immediately after a posting only one star.

True. I wouldn't trust Ekhi either. Facebook shut down two AI bots only recently after they began communicating in a language that humans couldn’t understand...

Ekhi The spaceship dropped back into real space in close proximity to the third core planet. Tahri Defense Command declared a red alert, the highest level of emergency warning. The rogue cargo ship didn’t reply to the center’s queries and proceeded towards the second planet at a high speed. Tahri Defense Command ordered shoot-down and set a final countdown for Captain Lasta to speak. A transmission from the cargo ship came in at an unusual frequency. Captain Lasta

Tahri military sent a battleship to Nantahanak, a Tahri outpost in borderline territory. The mission goal was clear: identify the alien force and terminate all alien activities. Ekhi came out of its idle state and discovered the Tahri spaceship.
