Yeah, I prefer straight hair on guys, but I don't mind a little curliness. I straighten mine because of the nasty frizz that it accumulates over a certain length. It's just another reason why I despise those with naturally straight hair...

I've tried various distro's of Linux but I just can't 'get into it'. It's not because of app compatibility either as the main three I use are Firefox, OpenOffice, and VLC - which all work on Linux. Maybe I've just become too used to working with and against Windows, but I don't see me jumping ship anytime soon.

I'm glad to hear it worked out for you in the end. I've been using it as my primary OS for the past couple of days and it's still impressing me. Out of curiosity, have you checked Windows update? I only ask because I had the same problem with my touchpad, however there was an update available which fixed it.

When was he in CharlieX and who did he play? He's 5'11", so I think he's quite a nice height. Though I think he looks better shaven.

But he's still cute! I bet he'd make a nice Vulcan. I have to admit that Xon's quite nice, but I'd still rather have a pointed ear Bobby though. That's a good idea for a story! But I don't think those type of stories are allowed on here...

It is essentially Vista, but rather what Vista should have been from the start. In the sense that it's much quicker, more stable and generally nice to work with. When you give it a try you'll be pleasantly surprised. Out of curiosity, what linux distro are you using? I would have agreed with you before trying the beta, but it's clear from its quality that there has been some serious changes happening over at Microsoft. Since install it's worked fine for me, much better than Vista when it was initially released. I'm quite confident that Windows 7 will put them on track again and from the state of the beta, I'd say they are pretty close.

Now that Windows 7 Beta is out for a limited public release, I was wondering if any of you were daring to try out Microsoft's new OS. Me? I'm using it right now and I have to say, I'm impressed, very impressed actually. Having come from XP, -(Yes, I skipped over Vista too) it is a dramatic improvement in many ways. Put simply: it looks good and feels good. So anyone out there tried it out yet? Anyone planning to? If you are, you have my encouragement. Link

That was a very powerful and moving trailer on a deeply emotional topic. That coupled with the fact that it's based on a true story seems to set the premise for quite a masterpiece. And with the current heated climate (post-prop 8 etc) I don't think this film could have arrived at a better time. Can't wait to see it.

Sadly I think he already has. He's been in Hidden Frontier, The Lair and now in Phase II. Playing a gay character -(Not 100% sure about The Lair, so it's an assumption). On IMDB, he's just finished a film called Watercolors which is a gay drama, so you can speculate with certainty about what sexuality his character will be. It's a shame that he hasn't made his big break yet as he's a great actor, but hopefully something will come along and we'll see him more often.

Good find hh5! Thanks for the links and info, I'll be sure to check it out. Yay! Bobby Rice plays Peter. He also played another well acted gay character on Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. I've got my fingers crossed on those red shirts!
