  1. I'm glad to hear you're out of hospital, I hope your symptoms continue to remain minor and of less occurrence. I'd also like to wish you all the best in coming out.
  2. Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day!
  3. Yes! Having a little more Comsie is never a bad thing.
  4. I'm with Graeme on this one, in the sense that I don't mind when an author likes to indulge in something that they relate closely to, but I usually prefer a shorter, more concise version of events. There are however some stories/scenes that work well because of the depth and content included by the author. So all in all (in my opinion), it really depends on the genre of the story as well as its location in the plot line.
  5. Yeah, same problem over here. You can try youtube but you'll have to wait a couple of extra days before they're uploaded. I use a free program called UltraSurf which basically makes scifi.com think that you're in the USA so you can watch it immediately. It should work for you as well if you fancy trying it.
  6. You're welcome. As for the kiss, I was rooting for Apollo and Anders to get together... But like you said, this will do.
  7. Happy Birthday! Have a great day!
  8. Over! How dare you! There are many questions that need to be answered and many loose ends to be tied up in the next episodes. Actually although they won't air until January 16th, there are webisodes being released on the scifi website. I urge any BSG fans to head over there to watch them, and even be surprised to witness the first gay kiss for the series. There are 10 of them in total, with the second one having been released today and following ones released bi weekly up to the 16th of January. Enjoy!
  9. Hi Jovian, I'm pleased to hear that you're out of hospital, but like the others said, spinal problems sound both serious and scary. I hope you get better soon. All the best, EmulatedLove
  10. Thank You Myr! All those years ago you created something great, now it has blossomed into something beautiful. Well done to everyone involved!
  11. Great website Kanaye! After playing for 5 minutes, I managed a score of 1200!! The questions are quite challenging, but I liked the geography/countries section. Everyone should have a little go, it's fun and like Kanaye said, it's for a good cause.
  12. Amazing picture isn't it? I seldom ever watch horror, in fact if it wasn't for the obvious Elm St sign and some other cult references, my score of 4 after 10 mins would have been even less.
  13. Yeah, they could have done a lot worse lol. But Zachary Quinto as Spock......quite orgasmic if you ask me. The trailer itself is pretty awesome, but gave me the feeling of it being a Michael Bay flick with all the action and stuff. Either way, it's gonna be great.
  14. You just have to love Google's AdSense: Relevant? Yeah, sure. Good work computer!
  15. Yeah, there are times where I've been reading a story that's been beautifully written and completely original, but then the author makes the reader jump through hoops in the story and then you've lost me. Don't get me wrong, there are many stories out there that work well with some complex and separate plots which come together in a really good way. These multiple plot lines really help the form and structure of the story and further facilitate the readers need for conclusion when they are tied up neatly. There has been many times where an author has put too much dialog or too much information into scene which is irrelevant and further confuses the reader. - I have been guilty of the same thing. An anchor, (perhaps a compass) is needed to help the author stay on track and to remind them of what they have and what they want to do with it. Do I think that a story can be saved with a few clever tricks? Absolutely. In much of the stuff that I've written, there comes a point where one paragraph, or even an extra story line can come and save the day. I remember reading some of your stories that have demonstrated similar traits. That's what I think.
  16. This sort of thing always had me puzzled. I'll be sure to remember this handy advice, Thanks Steph!
  17. I'm with Friendly, hedge your bits!
  18. Not really liking it... I've tried loads of browsers and while they are mostly the same, some are comfortable to use and others are just plain UNGH! Chrome is in the middle. In short: GOOD It's fast at running and loading Looks completely different from everything else- sets it apart Has incognito option BAD Looks completely different from everything else- hard to adapt to Not a lot of configurable options Doesn't block some popups-(they just display at bottom of screen) A couple of bugs I have only listed what I consider to be good and bad points, but to conclude I'd recommend that the average user steer clear for the time being and perhaps check out something else like Firefox 3/Opera and for anyone else who knows their stuff it's worth checking Chrome out; even if you are a devoted Firefox guy/girl. P.S. I also have to agree with you guys above, if you are pleased with what you have then there is really no reason to change. It's faster on virtually every website, but curiously it seems to load GMail at about the same speed as Firefox 3.0 EmulatedLove
  19. AWWW it's soo cute! I agree with the music being a lil cheesy but the video's great, not to mention the pillow fight... EmulatedLove
  20. Thanks Hallmark! I think the new cards are cute and lovely, although while not being as open as other cards- (cough)birthgay(cough) being from Hallmark they send an entire different message, a message which should hopefully help to persuade more companies to make products/items with the LGBT consumer in mind. 21. A truly phenomenal dive, he deserved nothing less! Yeah, I second that... EmulatedLove
  22. Hehehe, You're gonna love this! 20,000 leagues under the sea I have no idea why but it's quite addictive and unlike anything I'd usually read... EmulatedLove
  23. Thanks Guys, I'm sure it'll be fun and enjoyable ride! EmulatedLove
  24. Hiya guys, another newbie over here! I plan on staying around for a loooong time, running my mouth and "testing the waters" by releasing my 1st story in the next couple of weeks. EmulatedLove
