  1. Truly excellent, Corvus. Your use of the hypenated/non-hypenated phrases is brilliant. Conner
  2. Dude, I liked it.
  3. Ok, so I have my torch...and let me tell you, this torch would make Olympians green with envy. So what's the address, eh? Uhhh....is she really a goddess! She doesn't have, like powers, does she? Well, you know, I have very high "secuity of the self"needs. I mean, will she kick my butt! Conner
  4. Jordan, give yourself a break! :2hands: So now I have this picture of you in my mind...you're on your knees, naked upper body (I like that part ) and you're flailing yourself with a cat-of-nine-tails. The only worry that I have about you not finishing this story is that you're going to implode first. If Ryan were to read some of your recent posts, he would say, "Stop being such a fag!" enuf said. Conner
  5. Thanks for chapter 19 so quickly. It was worth the blitz novena I did while waiting! I particularly enjoyed listening to Brad speak to Robbie and then sensing that Robbie had kissed him back. Yes, Alcatraz was fantastic. It was so totally cool. My excitement doubled when the guide said Al Capone did time there. He also said that one of the main corridors had been nicknamed "Broadway". Thoroughly enjoyed it. Conner
  6. Happy B-Day, dude!!
  7. Yes, a fantastic chapter. The battlescene was teriffic, but what I enjoyed the most was the dialogue between Paul, his da, and the Bishop. Conner
  8. Chapter 18 was great! They've all been great. Suberb dialogue. So, seeing as Be Rad started in 2008, I hope you realize you can still be nominated for "King of Cliffhangers" for the GA awards. That was a nasty one, particularly if Robbie's unconscious. I did that Alcatraz tour eons ago. I've been trying to remember how rough the water was, but can't recall. I'm sitting here until chapter 19 is posted. :2hands: Conner
  9. I'm loving your character, Trent. The world needs more Trent's.
  10. Thanks for your analysis, John. I really enjoyed it...especially the line about Ry expressing his mental constipation in a "really powerful dramatic way". I loved it. A thanks to you too, Jordan, for all your comments above (post #108). That gave me a much better insight as to how you, as the author, are trying to take the story. Not too many authors do that. Chapter 12 was excellent! I totally appreciate the angst you went through in writing it, so thanks for that. The dialogue scene with Jake and Ry at the swim meet was just superb. I can say without a doubt that I (finally ) understand Ryan. Maybe I'll post more on that later. Conner
  11. This is a great thread!!! I think Robbie has the best post from the point of view of expressed enthusiasm over having a nice set of wheels. I used to drive this 1991 Chrysler van, that's right, a soccer mom's car. I really liked this vehicle. (Why? Robbies asks.) Well, I'll tell you. It was #1 on the stolen car list. It was easy to break into and very useful during burglaries. I had it stolen 3 times. Each time it was stolen, the insurance company would fix it - but not only the door lock and the ignition, but other mechanical things too, things that were there before it was stolen. They's also completely cleaned the car and shampooed the seats (no, Robbie, the seats weren't leather.) It would always turn up in 3 - 5 days so I wasn't inconvenienced too much. Besides, I could always rent a vehicle and chare that to the insurance as well. Who could resist a deal like that? Now, I must say that I never intentionally left it in a high-risk area. Btw, here in BC, we have mandatory provincial car insurance - basically a government corporation running the whole show. Mark - you should start a thread on car seat activity - front or back. I can just hear Robbie's answer now, "What? And possiblty stain the leather???" Conner
  12. Happy B-Day, Robbie!!
  13. Congrats, Jamie!
  14. Happy B-Day, David!!
  15. Brandon and Chase are married. How about devoting an entire chapter to the consummation of the marriage? I guess that may have to wait until we get the volcano/earthquake/sunami out of the way. But it is important, I suppose, to take care of these small details before getting back to the main themes...weddings, pool parties and strippers. Great chapter, CJ! Conner
  16. It's ok, CJ. I know how hard it is having to use hooves to count. I would have used peanut butter jars myself. Conner
  17. Good chapter, Jack! Conner
  18. That was the best chapter in this story. Very well done! Conner
  19. Chapter 13 was superb. My fave so far. I particularly enjoyed the scene between JP, Brad and Robbie. The shower scene with Brad and Jake deserves an honourable mention. Conner
  20. Chapter 11 was great. Now Lark is growing on me, too. More straight guys should approach their gay friends in this way. I believe Lark is straight, but obviously there's a part of him that's ok with male-on-male intimacy...well, at least with Brad. He's fighting it...in his own way. The second go-around was only possible with him taking on the dominant male role and giving Brad a pounding. Their relationship fascinates me. And so Robbie said...
  21. Obviously, a DJ with standards. Good on ya. If I were posting the music, I'd squeak in a song from '81 if I thought it worked better. Yes, I always follow the path of least resistance. Conner
  22. This was the bestest chapter ever in any story written by an animal!!! It was orgasmic! There were some great happenings: Male strippers Pool party the perfect bachelor party for Brandon and Chase Eric making serious amends for his previous tequila-induced behaviour Keith and Jansen are now part of the Carlisle family Mommy will be at the wedding I couldn't be happier. Eric's my hero! Conner
  23. Stefan is not a slut! He's just a very loving person. His character really shined in chapter 9. He's quite disarming. What's Sam's problem? My sense of it is he's been living in JP's shadow...and maybe wants out. But instead of being honest with JP, he's acting out. Pounding Jake was Sam letting out his anger over it all. He really wants to hurt JP, that's for sure. Anyway, my attention is now entirely focussed on Brad and Robbie. Definitely my favourite story! Conner
  24. I'll take yours over mine, Jamie. I am a punctual perpetrator who likes to hold toilets. I hate being punctual.
  25. Jack! It's been forever! Just read chapter 1. I'm hooked. You just got to reel me in now. Conner P.S Are fluffer jobs advertised?
