  1. Excellent predictions, Steve. I would take your Colin theory a step further. I have a feeling the Dark will be too irresistible for Colin. Great chapter, Dan! Conner
  2. All your questions arrive from evil Dan's subterfuge! That's my way of saying I don't have a clue. Conner
  3. I love crazy! I can't believe Worthington's calm, or, at least, what's coming off as calm. I'd crap my pants. Personally, I'd call for artillery, not calvery. More, Dan, please!!! Conner
  4. A wonderful ending to a superb story, Duncan. Believe me, it doesn't get any better than this, not in my world. Thanks so very much! Conner
  5. It seems to me that, with Eric, it's all a game. Eric has his sixth sense...yes. But really, he hasn't any real clue about what J/S is up to...better put, he has no idea of the gravity of what J/S is up to. He certainly doesn't realize that J/S is a killer and would slit his throat without a second thought if it served his objectives. So, there's Eric thinking that he can handle J/S even on tequila. I'm thinking, careful as the Scar is, his questions about the guys' trip to the loaded truck will start Eric thinking that something is going on with their band equipment...and, like with the GPS, Eric et al. will "investigate"....except this time they'll have Gunter with them. Even better would be Gunter killing the Scar before anyone figures out it's atomic bombs that he's shipping. Then Dimitri will hsve to pick up the ball, I mean bomb. Conner
  6. Who cares about cliffhangers, when there are more important things to consider...like pool parties and beach parties. I'm officially declaring that Eric and Wilde had a beach party. Eric can lotion me up anytime. I loved the scene at breakfast when Helen brings up their activitives their last night in Brisbane. Eric almost choked. Beautiful. I was sure the guys were in deep doo-doo at that point. I must congratulate Eric on the recovery, ably assisted by Brandon. Helen bought it hook, line and sinker. Never an easy task, I must say. I'm most impressed with Gunter. He's one cool dude. I'm glad he'll have his eye on Jerry here on in. Pretty soon the rubber going to hit the road and I believe Gunter will be there to save the day. All the talk about Eric "doing" a guy is getting me....hmmmm...what's the right word...sweaty. What a sweet scene between Brandon and Chase on the beach....ruined for the readers by some tourist taking a pic. So it's looking like our lovers will be outed before all is said and done. Great chapter, CJ! Conner P.S. Hey Bob! I knew someone was missing from my life. It's you.
  7. Dude! Great stuff! I don't think William put a lot of thought into this expedition..like what exactly was he going to do if he found a griffon. Mediocraty can be a damning demon, especially for a Prince. He has not come up with a purpose for his life. It strikes me that Princes would have more choices than most. He definitely missed too many wizard classes. So where's Ben already? Superb start! Conner
  8. Wait until you're 57! You won't remember shit. When I do remember details, they're usually from a different story. With Steve's stories, though, I never mind going back to re-read previous chapters. Mind you, it's early yet in this story, details can take a while to settle in. With CJ's stories, I just remember the pool parties. Conner
  9. An extraordinary chapter, Steve! Your characterizations are superb. I have no difficulty seeing the amount of work that went into this chapter. The sweet, albeit short, cross-pollination with CJ's story was just delightful. Is there a pool party in this story? Conner
  10. Let me know when you post to Nifty.
  11. Wow! The Jamie-Worthington argument was really unsettling. Scary even. Jamie totally lost it. Obviously, the incident with Colin hit a deeper hurt around his own loss of innocence and the life-path that he likely would have followed. Given that Jamie essentially saved his life, it seems that Worthington is prepared to do whatever it takes to keep their relationship intact. It's a fascinating dilema. Why hasn't Worthington initiated a more offensive stance or plan against his uncle? Everything has been just defensive so far....wards and the like. There has to be a showdown coming at some point. Great chapter, Dan. Conner
  12. I think this chapter should have been called "Discarded Clothing". Another good one, CJ! Conner
  13. More realistic??? :mace: Who needs more realism? I get that in my life on a daily basis. When I'm running short on realism, I can just read world news. I want escapism! Pure unadulterated escapism! Fun, frolliking adventure, mystery and lots of hot dudes. Poor Jeremy. Big chunk of his family too. The story's too good to stop reading. So eleves are screamers and moaners, eh? That's what I wanted for Christmas last year, a screamer or a moaner. I got a sweater, instead. Conner
  14. Happy B-Day, Jack!!! But alas, 'tis belated. Forgive my tardiness. Sweetpea??? I think I could have some fun with that. Conner
  15. Now, I don't really need to say anything. Great chapter, Dan! Conner
  16. Thank you for a fantastic story, Jack! Like all your other fans, I'm anxious to read Part 3. You never disappoint, Jack! Conner
  17. Happy B-Day, Nick!!! 17, eh? Just a pup, you are. I liked being 17. I hope you do, too. Conner
  18. Chapter 31 is the halfway point!!! Wow! 62 chapters...that's great!!! Lots of time for more pool parties. Conner
  19. That's so gay!!! I love it! Conner
  20. Ok, how do I apply to become one of Mike's Riders (MR)? I really like the new digs. Mind you, I'd settle for being one of the human "care" givers. The joining and now the separation process between Jamie and Worthington is an absolutely fascinating part of the story. It really intrigues me. Superb chapter, Dan! Conner
  21. Great Valentine's gift, Jack! Thanks! So what did I think of the chapter? That's easy... Conner
  22. I'm glad Scott finally found the words, but it's more than that. He discovered that Josh could be strong for him when he needed it. Scott is usually the one providing the strength, being the rock in the relationship. It's very liberating to find and acknowledge your own vulnerability. Great chapter, Duncan! Conner
  23. I've been wondering how you and endings would mix, Carl. Never let it be said that you write ordinary stories. Superb job! Conner
  24. I can't begin to express how happy I am about having Part II of the story posted. <joins Lugh in the happy dance> Mind you, it's kind of scary when I dance. I'm way too white! I can't jump either. Great chapter, Dan! I'm all orientated and ready for the action. Bring it on! Conner
  25. Did I mention that I have this fantasy about coming home and finding Mario and Spike in my bed? Then there's the scene where I say, "Mario, Mario, wherefore art thou, Mario?" And then...... Ok, I'll stop. Great chapter, Jack! Conner
